Problem 1:Hi, I switched from one site to another, which caused DW to load. After 30 seconds I closed DW via job list. When I opened it again, all my 200-300 sites are suddenly gone. Are there anyone who knows a solution?If I look at Site Prefs, I find some sites that I do not find in the editor, which is strange. It doesn't seem like it's using the Prefs.I use DW 19.1.Problem 2:The last year I have had problems with DW after xx minutes, i have to connect to my site again. If a couple of minutes goes by since I saved, then DW must connect to my site, which takes 30-40 seconds. It's super annoying that it should always "load" if i don't keep the connection "live". Make sense?Problem 3:Sometimes DW just throws my FTP information on sites. It does not delete the site, but it deletes the username and password which is very annoying.

I'm experiencing spinning beachball hang/crash requiring force-quit when trying to enter design view or select anything in design window. Can't select, it just hangs. Can only edit code in code window. Baffled. Worked fine a week ago. Two different computers. Either when opening an existing HTML page or creating a new one.Anyone else? As going to 64 bit, I got CS3 DW on Parallels, and I had a note, I installed from a good old CD copy I have an bought.My notes said to turn off wifi, and don't activate.Parallels being he had control of my screen, did not turn off wifi or he could not help me.Anyway sure enough, I open DW in parallels, the serial number is up (which I entered, and they say I have 30 days left)..and to activate with internet connection.What is going on? How does the dead hand of 15 year old software still come into mix. I  do Adobe updater come up at bottom.My copy on my current Mac, not sure if I ever activated. thanks. Lost.

I inherited a web presentation that someone else created in Adobe Captivate. It is my job to update this presentation in Dreamweaver. I have the index.html and the reference files for CSS, images, etc. What I don't have are the html files for the individual pages that are linked to from the main menu/toolbar of the index.html file. I'm looking at the code for the index.html and the anchor code just has the hashtag and not the actual names of these pages. I even opened the index.html in a browser hoping the extension of those pages would clue me in as to what file they were located in. That did work because the extensions are showing up the same way as the code, with a hashtag only. How do I find these pages to edit them? The index.html file works and all of the links work. Is it possible to increase the font size in area's like the 'Local Files List', the 'Files', 'CSS Library' tabs, etc.Having a vision impairment, these items are hard to read.I am using a iMac, 27" Retina display with Mojave 10.14.5 with Dreamweaver 2019.

I posted this inscrutable question before, and no one could help but someone eventually will solve this:When I do a check your links site-wide, DW finds all links perfectly.When I do a change links site wide, DW says, "no link to (the link I entered) is found.Even though, of course, there are hundreds of those links sitewide, which DW  just confirmed it sees in the check links site-wide.I thought maybe it's because I had a file open or selected, so I put highlight on the root folder at the top. No luck. Must be something else I'm doing..

Is anyone else experiencing screen flickering and involuntary menu cancels on any and all apps, windows and screens while Dreamweaver is open?I trashed my preferences and Dreamweaver is still causing this frustrating behavior, every 20-30 seconds or so.Even in the middle of writing the above line, this Dreamweaver behavior forced the focus to cancel out of the input field, forcing me to click back into the field to continue writing my query.It is the only Adobe program I have that behaves this way.Is there some sync process, or redraw process occurring in the background that I’m not aware of?I glanced through the menu and panel options and have not seen anything, but it’s entirely possible I’m missing something.Any help is appreciated. I recently upgraded to Dreamweaver 19.1 and the "Version Control" Section under site setup is gone.  Site > Manage Sites > Edit brings up the Site Setup menu, and "Version Control" used to be the 3rd option from the top.SiteServersVersion ControlThe entire Version Control section is now missing.  How do I setup subversion version control now?  Where is it?  All searches just lead me to out-of-date articles.Thanks.

I am having an issue with a spry drop down menu in a template on CS5. In the templates the menu works and all the links are active. When I go to certain pages on the internal site, although the menu should be the same on all pages, some pages show only 1 menu item rather than the full list. I've not actually been touching the menu's that are having problems until the issue was reported by another employee. So far all I have done is update information on pages and create a few text property classes. I am new to dreamweaver so I do not know what the issue could be or how to search for it online. What I have searched for has been no help.

In Dreamweaver CC 2015, I could replace "Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2015\configuration\Shared\Emmet\Emmet\snippets.js" with a customized version and Dreamweaver would recognize that file and let me use any custom snippets/abbreviations that I created.While Dreamweaver CC 2019 has the same folder/file structure, it doesn't recognize any of my custom snippets/abbreviations.Does anyone know of any way that I can get that working?

I have the newest version of Dreamweaver. I just installed it last week and I'm having the same problems where the selector panel is greyed out but it doesn't happen all the time. I am trying to learn how to create a webpage in Bootstrap and successfully created a new CSS file along with 2 new styles. When I added a new row to my html file and then tried to add some style to it, the selector panel won't work. It's greyed out and my css file isn't showing as being my current file.This has been happening to me ever since I installed the program so I gave up on Bootstrap for awhile and tried a different method for creating web pages.I'm back to trying to figure this program out only it's now impossible to add any style using the selector panel.Also, I see some people have said there was a problem with a font. I don't have a Font folder. Was one supposed to have installed when I installed the program?

I need to consolidate two hosting packages on the server. To do this I would like to move the sites from one ftp site to a different ftp site. So far I've duplicated the ftp (the one with the sites I would like to move) and changed the connection info to the ftp where I would like to move them *to* but without changing the local root folder (where the sites I would like to move live) to the local root folder associated with the ftp where I would like to move them to the ftp will not resolve.Mac 10.11.6Dreamweaver CS6 (no, cloud is not an option due to rural slow internet access)All suggestions welcome.

I've got CS5 installed on my desktop computer and I have just installed Dreamweaver cloud based 2019 on a 7 days trial.I can open the new Dreamweaver while logged on with a standalone account on my computer.When I try to open it while I'm logged on with the network account I get the error of menus.xml file.This is on Windows 10 and my standalone and network accounts have both the level of administrator on my computer.I've tried changing security settings and removing, copying files to no avail.What else can I do? I would like to be able to try it before the trial expires.Many thanks in advance.

Hi, Hoping someone can HELP!!I'm having an issue in Dreamweaver where I can see the coding but not the php page.  There are 2 others in the office that have access and they can see the php page.  And, it shows up correctly on our website.  What can I do to correct this?

Hello,I have a problem that I don't know how to resolve. When I preview my website on device (iPhone 6) using the Dreamweaver, the website acutally looks nice because I used some media queries. But when I publish my site to actual hosting the website looks completely different than the preview shown in Dreamweaver. Is there a way to preserve the same form as shown in the preview on device in Dreamweaver? I attached screenshots of my phone so you can see what I am talking about.Thanks for helpAndrej

This is just a general question, and a just out of interest one.4-5 years ago many people objected strenuously against the use of flexbox, (don't be shy in saying why ) although at that time 94% of users had a device or browser that supported its use. The main reason given was that IE8/9 did not support it and some browsers devices required prefixes. We have a template we use for posting client projects, which has a repeating area. On most of our computers, in the Design view, this area appears properly as the hex it is assigned to, #ccc09b. Here's a photo:On our laptop, the first two columns of any template are black, but we are not aware of changing any settings. That much is straight forward to me.I want to put on show, within different pages, many of my photos.Ideally, I would like a "Thumbnail" strip/section.When a visitor clicks on a thumbnail, the full size photo opens up below the thumbnail strip.Alternately, I may have a page of thumbnails, and clicking one takes you to a full size image, a bit like the way that Facebook photo albums work.I was thinking of using "inline" frames. In earlier versions of Dreamweaver cfml includes would render in the Design view mode (note I'm not talking about Live view) . Despite the preferences setting shown below being ticked this does not appear to work any more. Can someone at Adobe (HARSHIKA VERM added by Moderator) please clarify what is going on here or if anyone in the community has found a way around this.We depend on being able to see the contents of the include in the design view mode as we have site wide navigation and css that once used to be displayed and would render the page correctly - without this working we cant see a rendered view without going to preview (Live view also does not work with cfml anymore).Thank you
