Dreamweaver

I am not new to Dreamweaver CS4 but am by no means an expert.  I support a website for my golf course Oak Harbor The text formatting that I see in the code plus design view does not display correctly or at all on the website.  I want to have a title in <h4> but it will not display at all unless I use a CSS rule <p class="CenterBold100">.  The text displays correctly if tagged h3> in the design view but does not display at all when viewed on the website.I go on to use <h4> and <h3> throughout the rest of the home page and what I see in design matches what I see on the website.On another page Oak Harbor I again force the title with the <p class="CenterBold100"> but now the text tagged <h4> and <h3> does not display at all.  If use a <p> tag the text is too small.  I am guessing this is just not understand CSS well enough but hopefully some kind expert out there will point me in the right direction.Thanks,Jim

I have tried through various means to reconnect my Server Behavior Panel with Bindings, etc.  The file, that's supposed to be deprecated, just doesn't exist on my computer.  (Deprecated_ServerBehaviorsPanel.zxp)  If I look for the "Deactivated" folder, it's not there.  Please send me the file or tell me how to make it work again like in Dreamweaver CS6.  I've spent over 3 hours of my time trying to resolve this issue!  How am I supposed to get any work done when Adobe keeps on changing tried and true stuff that I use every day!  That's just plain wrong!  So, fix it NOW!Later,

Hi there I just published my website (primaltheatre.com) and the homepage instead of displaying my index.html file it's displaying a blank page with the message "Welcome to your new website", and only when I enter primaltheatre.com/index.html does it show the page I intended as the homepage. Does anybody have any idea how to make my index.html page as the homepage?

Ok, I haven't been using dreamweaver on a regualar basis for a while but I am working on a new site and I am having an issue where I edit an image and save over the old one. When I select the file and tell dreamweaver to put the file on the remote site it says that it didn't transfer no change. I would like it to put the file whether it thinks its changed or not. I had to catch this before the window closed I wish I could keep that transfer window open. Is there a setting I can change for this?Thanks!

Hi there!I have  a question on Dreamweaver CC 2014. I need to know how to make a image slideshow in that. I watched a video and I follow the steps but its not there rightly. In Insert tab - Media tab - and then i need flash viewer tab. Its not there. Can you help me please.I will look for a quick reply!

I'm using Dreamweaver CC 18.0Trying to do a simple Find & Replace like I've done for many, many years using "in Open Documents." For some reason, Dreamweaver wants to go into every single CSS and Javascript file referenced in the open HTML files. I don't care why somebody thought this was a good way for it to work from now on -- I just want to know how to stop it. There is a little Show All File Types menu in the upper right and I can choose to not show either JS or CSS but I can't choose not to show both. I don't know if that's related ... it doesn't matter if I can't deselect both, I suppose.

Is there an app for iOS or Android that allows us to inspect code just as we would do on a desktop browser?I'm finding loads of desktop browser simulators, but nothing that specifically runs on a handheld device.

Show invisible Tab characters but not end of line characters in Dreamweaver or maybe if it is possible to edit them, change colour etc.I try edit settings in main.less but I cannot find settings/class for tab, and end of line?

Muse is going away so have to move my web site. I exported all my pages from a working site to html from Muse. I got a folder full for stuff with all link materials , images etc. When I opened the index page in Dreamweaver, everything looks okay. The images, fonts everything looks as original except none of the top level or any of the other links work. When I try to see the site in Live View, I get this message. Are the links still there? Am new to Dreamweaver.You tried to access an external HTML page, which can not be opened on the device for preview. Open the page in Dreamweaver to preview the page on the device.

Does anyone knows how to remove empty lines after a bracket using Apply Source Formatting. There are so many options in the Settings, it must be amongst them, but I can't find it.Thanks

Is there a way to import my content, (text, images, videos and links) that will all be styled the same way on every page, into new pages that I create from a single .dwt?For example say I have a site about animals and I have all of the above content about different animals it is similar in format but the words and pictures are different and they link to different things. I have lots of text and several different pictures with captions that would take a long time to manually enter page by page. Does DW have an import function that would help me do this? Is there some kind of app software to manage json files like phpMyAdmin manages mysql data?I mean how do you arrive at a finished formatted json file without doing it manually........surely there must be some user friendly app UI which inserts, updates and deletes info from a json file or exports as a json file right?CheersOs

Dreamweaver CS6. My Enter key used to work to "Find Next" in Find and Replace and suddenly it has stopped (I now have to click the Find Next button to go to the next instance of my search string). I didn't change any settings. What's up?

Just noticed on all my pages, the final <html> tag is not there. I have created an HTML page using Dreamweaver. In this page, there is a thumbnail, and I would like a larger image to appear when the mouse hovers over the thumbnail. No hover image appears. This does not work in MS Edge and in Google Chrome. I've just had Dreamweaver installed on a new PC, and although I can see the files for my two websites, they won't "put".  The sites don't appear in Manage Sites - do I need to get them in here first? Total Dreamweaver novice - please help!!!

I want a div element in the middle of a page that has overflow:scroll; It all works fine but I also want a <h3> positioned: absolute at the top of the box. How do I align the <h3> with this box? At the moment it goes to the top of the page even though the <h3> in inside the <div>Basically I want the position to relate to the div element, NOT to the page. I have a video that is basically the only thing that'll be on the site (because it is a tv pilot demo). I would love for there to be some way to enter the site and red curtains open and then the video can be played. Pretty vague description for now, but any thoughts on how to do this with Dreamweaver? Thanks!
