Ok I am trying to place my menu in using a SSI.   This use to work I managed to break it cleaning up temnplatesI can no longer find a way for DW to update my Include path in PHP filesI came across this discussion in my quest"Server-side includes" equivalent in DW CC and in that I found what i hoped would be the golden apple with this<?php require_once('includes/my-include-file.php'); ?>I tweaked this to<?php require_once('Includes/Navigate2.php'); ?>  to reflect my site   (yes  my older  directories start with Caps)Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'Includes/Navigate2.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/share/pear') in /usr/local/www/kasdivi.com/pages/Travel/HongKong/Aberdeen/Jumbo.php on line 111Ok tweak again  and tried the absolute path<?php require_once('http://kasdivi.com/Includes/Navigate2.php'); ?>and Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'http://kasdivi.com/Includes/Navigate2.php'  and

It seems I've done something to mess up the workspace. I'm having a zillion problems trying to learn DW but number one right now is I can no longer get a splitscreen view with the css - only with the html. I'm sure before I had 2 layers of tabs at the top of the document. One allowed me to switch between having the live-view on the left and to the right of it I could choose bewteen having the html or the css in the code panel. Now there is only one layer of tabs and if I switch to view the css I lose the live view panel. The css fills the whole screen and the page itself is gone. No splitview. The splitview is only there if it's the html code on the right - not the css.

Tutorials tell me I should be able to.This is the twentieth thing today that does not work as it should in DW for me.Is there any other way you can tell me of getting assets from the page on the creative cloud into my CC library in DW, just anything that works.I tried the save button on the page. Nothing happened.

I'm having some issues with compatibility in IE11 and flexbox. My site is working correctly in Chrome, Firefox, Edge but not IE. I've researched Google and this forum and learned of "bugs" and issues with columns etc.. in IE but everything I've tried still isn't correcting the issue. I've pasted the code below. Dear All,There is a problem I wanna upload PSD file to creative cloud by extract function but fails. I clicked the left upper corner "Upload PSD" button but no response react as the 2nd image. Anything I should do or something wrong? All your advise will be highly appreciated by me.

I have installed Fleximenu 2 on Dreamweaver cc 2018 several times.  I tells me that the installation is complete and to restart Dreamweaver.  Everytime I install and restart Dreamweaver, the Fleximenu 2 does not appear in the "INSERT" menu.Morris Davis

Hello, all,How does one force a span to occupy the upper-right corner of a containing div, and force text inside the div to wrap around it?I'm developing a blog for internal use, and I'm using a + to indicate to the user that clicking on the div will expand the title to include the full text of the post.  I'd like for it to stay in the upper-right corner.  If the title is way long (like 100+ characters), I want the + to stay in the corner and the text to line feed before it reaches the +.  How is this accomplished?V/r,^ _ ^CORRECTION:  The span is contained within an H5 element, not a div as I originally reported.

This is the 99th thing today that does not work as it is supposed to for me.There is toggle thing that's supposed to bring it up on the toolbar on the left but it won't show for me.

Please share your thoughtsCSS Grid is it ready; I have been working with CSS Grid. I’m relatively new to Site Development. My reasoning is why be an expert at Bootstrap or Flexbox when CSS Grid is going to be the best.  However, I have found CSS Grid to very inconsistent and difficult to make responsive.  I’m giving up trying to use it for the entire site design.  Even with all hype of CSS Grid easily adapting to newspaper style layouts and putting elements on top of each other with z-index.  CSS Grid is just not ready.  I feel that when it is ready Dreamweaver and Bootstrap will be fully supporting it.  Thanks for your input

Can a website created using Dreamweaver be exported then imported into another software to be supported there?

Hi!I have two queries:firstly, If i buy the dreamweaver software, then, do i have to pay extra money to exploit all your themes and features? what i mean to ask is whether i will have to pay for any other service once i buy the pregramme.secondly, can the student discount be used for a particular software like dreamweaver or can i only use it to buy the creative cloud all apps?

I just "upgraded" from CS5 Dreamweaver to CC and when I preview the files aren't reflecting (saving) the changes i've made. Why would Adobe remove something so useful? How can I turn on the autosave upon preview?thanksWalter

I'm doing a course for school and need to show the html of my website. However, I am stuggling to export the html of the muse website in to dreamweaver so the website can also be edited in dreamweaver also. Shock horror, just returned from a meeting with a client where we where discussing the layout of their website viewed on a wide screen monitor, hooked up to a wall..........Flexbox failed to recognise some arttibutes, like flex: 1; - of course I guess they could have been using an older browser.This has thrown me into confusion because I dont know if its their browser, something to do with the monitor or Flexbox.........humm. Every thing works as expected in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari on Mac.Every other aspect of the layout which used Flexbox seemed in position apart from elements which had flex: 1; associated with them.?Os

Smart People,about two weeks ago my dreamweaver stopped displaying the design side art work on the Split and or Design layout. the website i am working on displays perfectly on the browsers http://www.charlesfoxmusic.com      however, i can no longer see the art work when working. any idea what might be occurring here please and how can it be fixed.drotar     (screenshot attached of the problem)

The dictionary does not accept or remember my words.  I am running DW  2015.3 on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.  When I do the Sift F7 the spell check works but if I put in a specific work, DW does not remember it.I do not know what I am missing.  I have specified English (United States) under edit>preferences>GeneralEven more frustrating is there no longer seems to be a chat support or phone support option for DW.Help please

Have Adobe changed how fonts are displayed in Design View in build 10155?  Although not all font in my CSS displayed correctly before (mainly Google fonts) the others displayed correctly. Now everything defaults to Times New Roman. They display okay in Live View. It makes it difficult to locate words in headers as I have to keep going back and forth between Design and Live Views.ThanksAlan

Let me first say that I am new to Bootstrap and have taken an online class that touched on it.  The website's I am building temporarily resides at donlowephotos.com.   I am re-building a website so it will appear nicely on mobile phones and tablets.  I chose Bootstrap-eCommerce because I liked its format but have no plans to use the eCommerce part of it.  Here is my problem:  I copied a Div from the original website (www.cedarlodgearkansas.com built using Dreamweaver) into this one. I see the Div and its contents in the code view and when I click on it, the Div name appears at the bottom of the screen and is selected.  I want to center the text and put a border around it.  However, I don’t see the panels.  What am I doing wrong?  Any help will be appreciated.Thanks,DonThanks,DonP.S.  How to you change the webite's title via code view?  Dreamweaver won't allow me to do this.

I have a .png image on the page of my dreamweaver page created from a DW starter template.The image is all transparent outside of the double circle area. In the DW preview it shows as it should but when shown in any browser it has this weird dark blue zone. The page background is an image in gradients of dark-blues but they are screened out by this dark-blue shadow on the .png. See orange text on two images below:

I need to copy a word document into Dreamweaver file. There are few photos (jpg format) in the word document, all photos are well matched with a hyperlink.I try to copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V)  those photos from Word to Dreamweaver directly. However, it isn't work. It only copy the photo instead of photo and hyperlink. It pumps out image optimization window, asking me to choose the photo formats (jpg, png and gif ....etc). After i choose the format , it ask me to save the photo in my own drive and create a name for the photo. Do i need to match all hyperlinks in CS6 manually by myself? Since my colleague already match all the links with photos in the word document already. I can do that by using CS3  before. Is that CS6 can't do that? Thanks!
