How do I find the centering of text?Earlier Dreamweaver CC 2017 have a symbol or a place to click in the menu. Left, midle or right, for text.Cant find it anymore.Dag

Hi Folks,I have a hand-coded, responsive, static portfolo site—in Dreamweaver—and I'm pretty happy with it.It's handy, it's not in Wordpress or anything, and it's easily portable as a static site.The one thing that pulls me towards rebuilding in Wordpress or some other CMS, is my desire for 'tagging'.I would love to offer tags such as 'storyboarding', or 'character design' etc., on project pages which straddle multiple disciplines, but sit within only one top-level section/category.Is there a Dreamweaver solution for this? An extension or 3rd party plug-in?Thanks John

Let me preface my question with a disclaimer: I am a Dreamweaver newbie and have only learned what my predecessor at work taught me (who was also a newbie). I have no training and have not worked with it prior to my current job. Now, to my question: Before the update to Dreamweaver, when I wanted to upload/update something to our website - I would hit an up arrow near the top right-hand corner of the screen near the website folder. That would then "push" the new content to the website and make it live online. Well, that arrow is gone and now I don't know how to upload the changes from my screen to the live website.If you have any suggestions, please advise! It's greatly appreciated.

I dont want to use the cloud.  I want to keep themhere right at home like I always used to.thanks anyone

Hallo,I have a curious problem. Maybe only for me?When uploading my webside including a simple contact-form and the form-handler.php file to send the Datas to my email address, everything works fine.But when I upload the form-handler.php once again, the contact form produces an error!It doesn't matter wether the uploaded form-handler.php is changed or not!I use a MAC (OS: Sierra), Dreamweaver CC, FTP, passive mode, Port 21, no Problems to connect my PC via FTP to the server with dreamweaver.When I use my old Windows PC with an FTP-Programm to overwrite the form-handler.php - I had uploaded with dreamweaver before - everything is OK again!Sorry, I have no exercise of writing englisch. This error makes my crazy. I cant't use my old windows PC to upload the PHP files every time!Can you give me a hint how to change the way dreamweaver transfers data via FTP  to the remote server?Thank you very much for reading,Christian

Hi I edited both MMDocumentTypes.xml in the application and user folder. I already remove the .tpl in the html section and move it down to the php section.Restart the Dreamweaver but it still show tpl in html highlighting. Please help!

I just upgraded Dreamweaver. Code is now displayed in colors that are low-contrast from the background, no matter which theme I use.It's totally unusable. I don't care to change all the colors manually. Just tell me how to restore good, high-contrast colors in one step.

After scanning the QR code for the device preview, my iPhone is endlessly redirected between cc-api-preview.adobe.io, adobeid-na1.services.adobe.com, an IP address, and ims-na1.adobelogin.com. The preview has been working intermittently with this problem. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Wondering if this feature has been removed...In 2015 (CC) when I was working on Javascript.. in split screen, if I typed $(' the system would give me suggestions on the id's that were on the page, and then once i chose the ID from the list, I could then press '.' and add class then once it entered the brackets.. it would give me the list of available css styles.This feature never worked in 2017.. it was a known issue for months, I spoke to tech support many times, and they said it would be back in next patch... it never arrived.Now I have installed 2018 hoping it would be back.. but again.. now when I type $(' I get nothing.. and even worse.. if I do know the ID then when I put in addclass it gives no CSS file choices.I would not mind that much as I would just do what I used to do and forget this version and open 2015 where it worked.. but now of course it un-installs the old versions.. so I need to remove this version totally, then re-install 2015, then put in all the updates etc.Am I

Hi I have make one site with DW one years ago. Now I have open the template for create a new file but the system response is  <<" There is an error at line 307 column 8 (absolute position 17264) of F:template.dwt" : unexpected end of file.>> At the line 307 is only last tag </html>. I have controlled the file with BlockNote, but dont I see error. Who can help me?

DW makes a broken link report and shows the file the broken link emanates from, and what the link is you created. But then how to you find that link on a busy page, for example, a site map with a lot of anchor text to those links?DW CS3

Ich habe mir die Creative Cloud heruntergeladen, nun kann ich aber Dreamweaver nicht starten.Wenn ich Dw heruntergeladen habe über das CC Tool, klick ich auf öffnen, aber es passiert nichts ausser einer Fehlermeldung 16.Ich habe bisher versucht mit dem Cleaner tool alles zu entfernen und neuzuinstallieren, sowie wie auch teilweise empfohlen die Rechte manuell auf Vollzugriff zu ändern. Es hat alles nichts geholfen. Ich benutze Win10 auf der aktuellen Version.

I  have just updated Dreamweaver to the latest 2018 version, support for git now being part of the last couple of upgrades I have decided to take the long overdue plunge. I have read through: Learn how to download and use Git with Dreamweaver CC.  for a quick run down and installed the git client 2.14.1 (Mac OS X). Step 2 on the Adobe learn how page states: 'Create an account for your git client', the git client install doesn't add an app to the applications directory (not that I can see) and there aren't any 'create an account' links on the git website, how do I create an account?If I now click on the 'Show git view' icon in Dreamweaver it lists a colour coded copy of my site files, I can also open the git panel and see all of my untracked site files  which implies that an account has been created and possibly a repository. Do I have an account? Do I need a set of login details? Has a repository been created (locally?)? Have I been allocated space on a remote git server

Hello,I am new to Dreamweaver and am following a tutorial dealing with inserting a hamburger.  I have the hamburger inserted in one of two divs within the header.  The other div controls the regular navigation ul content.  My selectors for the 400 max and the 401 to 768 work for inserting background colors into the header. I have chosen to color the three sizes differently in order to more easily check the cut off breakpoints.  The header is 1200 max width and colored black, while the others are red and green respectively.My problem is that while I can set both mobile and tablet to display 'none' in global but when testing in the browser they remain invisible.  Two days ago they were behaving correctly but I noticed other files were behaving strangely or were absent.  I suspected a bug and uninstalled Dreamweaver then reinstalled the program. I observed that the global setting work satisfactorily but the media queries settings were not working as hoped.I a

Hi Everyone.I use both photoshop and dreamweaver CC and did an update today.  After the update the images (logo and illistrations) I put into a site in DW look fuzzy and choppy.  Example.  I take an illustration or image that I am using in photoshop (300DPI) and I save as either a jpeg or png to m desktop.  Now I look at that image in a viewer and it looks fine and sharp, but when I go into dreamweaver and place the image on a page it looks really fuzzy and bad.  I have done it this way for years with this never happening.  Can someone please advise what may be going wrong here?  I am in need of help fasty as I have a deadline to meet.this is the photoshop exported version - clean and crisp Now how it looks in DW Thank you so much.JP
