Dreamweaver

This annoying information pop up just started today. I have no idea how to turn if off. I know if you hover over an icon then useful information will be displayed, but this is too much as the darn thing keeps popping up.Any idea how to kill it?ThanksAlan

Am trying to optimize my page and it says to add a Leverage browser caching and Cache validator to my .htaccess file. How do I do that/ whats the code for it.This is what my .htaccess file has on it, I have not edit anything on it. Is their a way in DreamWeaver to update a server and make it sync with another server. For example if you have a sandbox server and after you finish changes on the files, you want to publish the updates to your main server. The only way I found is to update manually all the files.

So i have Dreamweaver CC 2017 and when i open the program, It instantly says "Dreamweaver has stopped working". I have already re-installed it and it still doe it. Whats the issue?

Those who've looked into my previously posted questions will know I'm dealing with large batches of static web pages created by teams of people who essentially are simply copy/pasting the content into some "templates" (pre-made HTML files that are opened in Dreamweaver and the data pasted in, not actual Dreamweaver templates). This results in a large number of artifacts that I've been using Dreamweaver 2015's saved search function to remedy.The one area that I don't have a saved search for is when large blocks of spaces show up in the pasted text. Example:"I am              the very model of a modern Major                                                     General."

Is it possible to search and replace a tag based upon its parent tag?Specifically, I'm editing tables, and I have a bunch where all of the head content (between the <thead> and </thead> tags) is tagged <td>, when I really need it to be <th>.It's not as simple as just replacing all of the <td> tags. I only want to replace the ones inside the <thead>.Maybe it's a regular expression, but dang if I can figure it out.

HI,What happened to all the find/replace features in 2017.1? The main one I use all the time which is where to search - local document, local site, etc. I do not see those options anymore! It will just search in the document I have opened. Please don't tell me this option is no longer available?!?!

My menu on the mobile version of my website is supposed to be hidden unless clicked, but it is always showing and in front of the content below. I was disappointed to find out that the Dreamweaver plugin for Adobe Campaign was only for Standard not for actual Adobe Campaign. Is there any plans to expand this plugin to work with full Adobe Campaign?

Hello!I am using two codes to create a website.A im using http://codepen.io/anon/pen/mmaNaZ?editors=0100​ (parallax layers) and http://codepen.io/supah/pen/bBbmdG​ (Scrolling mask reveals image) .When i join the two codes, the parallax code overlays the revealed image one and even when i make the layers transparent, the scrolling reveal doesn't happen and it's stuck.WHAT I WOULD LIKE IS:The image that is revealed appears:and that same image is the base layer of the parallax code:(Sorry for my english). If this isn't possible, i would like to have the scrolling mask first and after, the parallax one.Is that possible? I am almost sure it is but having poor experience in this (3 classes of 1 and a half hours each), i don't know how to do it. If so, how?

Yesterday, Command-F brought up a search bar where I could put in a string and search the page, or the site, or selected files, etc.As of today, Command-F brings up a bar on the bottom of the screen where I can search the page, only. The other search options are not there. They are missing.Does anyone know where they went? These are CRUCIAL.

When I'm building emails in Dreamweaver CC (Mac) occasionally (getting more often) I get the message as below.It usually happens when I've already built and saved it, put it to the Server and previewed it in a browser. Then if there's a small mistake I go back to Dreeamweaver to correct it and then I can't save it. Other Dreamweaver files that are open at the same time will save fine but not the one I'm currently working on?Very frustrating and always happens when I've got a tight deadline!Thansk in advance

When I select the Online Guide under "Help" and select "User Guide", I get the Guide for the 2017 version - I have the 2015.0 version (16.0.1).  Is there a way to access the User  Guide related to my version of Dreamweaver?

Hey people,I am in a deep trouble, I have connected mySql to my dreamweaver site succesfully but when testing in the browser the data i enter isnt visible in the database table.....and also i am getting this dynamically- relatesd content problem could this be the problem.

I have long had this problem with various versions of Dreamweaver, including DW CC 2017, on several versions of Mac OS X. I know others have had it and support has been involved. But I cannot find an answer relevant to my problem. But I know Adobe must have addressed this!Compare With Remote Server often works for me, using BBdiff. But then, sometime during a session, it stops working. When I check the FTP log, it shows that the file is still downloading. It never finishes and the remote-to-local comparison in BBedit never appears. This problem occurs intermittently, at seemingly random times. If I restart the computer, Compare With Remote starts working again.

I need to / want to become more familiar the DW interface and especially the file handling functions. Does anyone know of a video maybe on Youtube that can help me? Thanks!

Hi I recently upgraded to the latest version of DW and I find it completely frustrating to use.I want to use DW 2014, which was working fine in all aspects for me.  How can get get rid of 2017and revert back to this useable version?thanks
