how to import a PSD in dreamweaver

wel, a few days ago I started with my book Adobe Dreamweaver Classroom in a book. I arrived at lesson 6 and it's about the extract panel. Now I've read that it's not available anymore. But I don't know how I can open the PSD from the lesson in to dreamweaver to continue the lesson. Is there someone who had the same problem and how did you fixed it?

Die einzige stabile Version bleibt 21.4. Alle neueren Versionen haben den gleichen Fehler: Die gespeicherten Sites werden nicht mehr korrekt synchronisiert.

Nach jedem Neustart der App werden dutzende Dateien mit "Die lokale Datei und die entfernte Datei wurden geändert. Auflösen" markiert. Ich kann die Dateien manuell hochladen, bei einem nächsten Sync ist es dann korrekt. Wenn ich DW neustarte und erneut synchronisiere werden die Dateien erneut falsch gekennzeichnet. Ich habe alles versucht (Preferences gelöscht etc...) ohne Erfolg. Bei Version 21.4 tritt der Fehler nicht auf.

After a successful edit in Dreamweaver and preview in Google why does my website show a blank page?

As a longtime Dreamweaver user, I made a recent change which previewed perfectly in Google (local view) but when I uploaded the site in Hostgator my website (geraldgibson.com) displayed a blank page. What could have caused this all of a sudden. Hostgator is no help whatsoever. Please help!

Images not loading

Although the Image no-show is a classic newbie problem with obvious causes like paths to relevant folders etc, there are sometimes also inexplicable reasons. I know the nav code is clumsy and it will soon be better organized. How to properly follow discussions with nested replies?

Hi everyone, I’m writing this after a discussion @L e n a had with @ingo9 about Flexbox and some articles published on Puce & Média.Out of curiosity, I went to read the related thread myself, and I have to admit I had real trouble finding and following the actual exchanges.For context, I’m not directly involved in that discussion, but I wanted to understand how it unfolded.Since the new version of the forum, I find it difficult to read threads and follow conversations, especially when replies are nested. Sync Bug since 21.5

Since the Update to 21.5. i get a MacOS alert when opening Dreamweaver that it wants to get access to other apps. I can't get rid of this alert even when clicking "allow".Then when I try to sync my local site with the server I am getting lots of files displayed to be "ignored" but the actual changed file are not shown to upload. I need to upload all "ignored" files and then everything works as expected again. Until the next restart of the application.I use Dreamweaver only in Developer-View to edit code and manage and sync multiple files. So went back to version 21.4.Dreamweaver 21.5, MacOS Sequoia 15.5

Path naming issues in Windows 11 prevent Dreamweaver from seeing files.

Very strange issue. I found some files on the remote server do not show up in Dreamweaver. When I look with Explorer, the files are there locally. But they have a strange path with \\?D:\ on the front. The files that do show up do not have the \\? on them. I can see the files on the remote server, but cannot sync them back as I get an ftp error.This is probably a Win 11 issue but no idea how to report this. I wish Dreamweaber could see these files.This is somewhat new, as I had been able to sync in the past.What do I do?

Quand j'utilise "windows + v" (de la fonction de copiage avec validation de la mémoire de copie) et que je clique sur un texte a copier dans les deux champs de recherche de DW, alors le texte est copié deux fois.

J’ai validé l’historique du presse papier de windows 11, et quand je l’utilise avec le raccourcis “windows + v” dans les des deux champs de recherche de DW (“Crtl + f” et “Crtl + Maj + f” ) alors le clic sur le texte choisi est dupliqué dans le champ (cela ne se produit que dans DW).Ex : si “bidule” est dans l’historique du presse papier et que je fais “windows + v” dans les champs de recherche de DW alors le clic sur ce texte dans l’historique du presse papier de windows le copie deux fois dans le champ de recherche de DW et donne : “bidulebidule”.

One HTML file being ignored as a link target?

I just noticed a really weird behavior in one of my DW sites (actually my own personal business site).I have an HTML file named “Services-Print-Design.html” that displays fine in DW and when previewed by itself in a browser. The problem is I have several images and even menus in my site that should launch this page when clicked… but nothing happens at all? Hovering over an image or menu button recognizes there is a link before clicking, but clicking does nothing? For instance, I have 6 identical JPEGs on my Home Page and each links to a separate HTML page. Five of the Six links work perfect when clicked in Preview (same when selected from alternate dropdown menu). I have spent 3 hours making sure the code is identical to the other five page links. The page itself shows no errors in code view. I tried renaming the file and updating links throughout the site - no effect? It behaves like that page is just preview-cloaked? If I click on the file in DW and say “Show in Finder”, that works p

Transfer 50+ DW Sites from 2019 Intel Mac Pro (Sonoma) to M3 MacBook Pro (Tahoe)?

My main computer is a 2019 Intel Mac Pro running Sonoma and the latest version of DW.I am being forced to move ALL my 50+ DW sites to my MacBook Pro running Tahoe and the latest version of DW.I have read some articles on how to Export/Import .ste files. I want to copy ALL my server connections (user names, passwords, i.p. address settings, etc.), so from what I gather I should choose the Backup vs the Share export option… is that right?My main concern (if I understand the process correctly) is Export Backup option also retains pointers to all the actual site root folders for each of my customers’ actual images, assets, etc. used on their websites which now all 50+ of those folders are located on my Mac Pro. So if I export my .ste files on the Mac Pro and then import those into the MacBook Pro, those pointers will no longer be valid? I am guessing I will need to copy all those website root assets folders manually onto my MacBook Pro before I do the Import, BUT how will DW locate those r

After the upgrade to 21.7 it takes Dreamweaver endless time to connect a file on the iCloud, the wheel of hell rotates for minutes now. Any idea to fix it?

After the upgrade to 21.7 on a Macbook Pro with Tahoe 26.2, whenever I try to connect to a file on the Mac/iCloud the opening window is greyed out and I can enjoy the Spinning Pinwheel for minutes until the file is “loaded”? A broken workflow like that is extremely annoying. Any idea for a fix?

What's your view on AI. Maybe open another thread. It's insanely brilliant but hugely destructive at the same time...at least l get to spend more time relaxing on the beach, drinking beer   Tailwind css laid off a huge amount of staff according to reports and over the last few months high traffic web design  tutorial channels on YouTube are saying they are 'done' and not doing coding tutorial like in the past as views have dropped through the floor!, which impacts revenue.

Help to pack some float code

Dear Dreamweaver Community,I haven’t used DW for a long time so if you can help me with some coding I will get back on track.I want to have 2-3 pictures WITH an explanatory text packaged in such away that they don’t stray away when moved around or spread apart on large screens.I have tried the   Insert/HTML/Figure command which gives placeholders for just ONE image and a caption. The caption text stacks up like a paragraph even if there is space under the image; looks clumsy. I have seen in this forum a solution, “Float Figure Element” from Osgood_2021, which seems to be the right approach. Now putting these code threads together to get a working script that I can plug in – that’s where I need some help. Could somebody give me a hand?  Thanks, Ingemar, 81 now

Dreamweaver Version 21.7. Windows 11Adobe Dreamweaver frequently opens with the Code View font set to an extremely small size, requiring manual adjustment each time. This setting does not reliably persist between sessions.In addition, after Dreamweaver has been running for a while, files opened in Code View sometimes display a blank editor with no code visible. The only fix is to close and restart the application.After restarting, the Code View font size resets to a very small size across all open files, requiring manual resizing for each document.

Frequent Crashes on Dreamweaver & System Instability - macOS Tahoe 26.2 (M3 MBP)

Hi everyone,I am experiencing frequent crashes with Dreamweaver on my MacBook Pro (M3; November-2023 series) running macOS Tahoe 26.2. The triggers for these crashes are very inconsistent; sometimes it happens while deleting a character/word, other times while closing a tab, or even during normal typing.I have encountered similar issues, though less frequently, with Adobe Animate. (I haven't had the chance to extensively test Photoshop, Illustrator, or Premiere yet).Additionally, I am facing prolonged "Beachball" (spinning cursor) issues when opening or closing files like Photoshop or PDFs. I also experience this occasionally within Apple Pages, but I haven't been able to test other applications yet.Is anyone else experiencing these stability issues?
