Dreamweaver

Even though I selected "double-click to minimiize window" in the dock/system preferences, the window doesn't collapse to the bottom. It works for every other program except InDesign CC and Dreamweaver CC. I'm on amacOS Sierra.

Looking for suggestions please.After a very long break from Dreamweaver I am finding myself a little lost. Looking for an effective way to create a clean/blank interface with only two large buttons, both buttons/clickable areas to have:an image as backgroundtext insidemust have rollover state (and prefereably a brief animation during state change)both text and background image to change on rollover; or text invisible on Up/Initial state What methods/approaches do you suggest I follow?Thanks in advance.  

This will get your heads scratching...Ive been using DWW since 2011 to self finance, publish and maintain a small parish church website ( there are no other sites) . Main copy on the PC and back up portable copy on a laptop for use when on holiday so no weekly newsletters have been missed.Ive never had problems upgrading PCs til now. I have the original CD/serials etc. My portable has lost its copy and is old so I purchased a new 2 in 1 this week. On installing all ok until:  2FA and the inability to email Adobe as I used to, who would sort out all my problems quickly.  1.  The adobe id who purchased DW for us  has moved on so I am unable to use 2FA - I never needed it before.I would appreciate some help and direction on how to proceed. Keep safePeter

In year 2011 I followed a course in web design and then also bought CS 5 Design WEB . now I want to activate program on another laptop and get serial number is in use.how can I fix this ?I also had another e-mail address back then.

Dreamweaver 21.1 (Mac)I've had to stop working with Dreamweaver.Using multiple websites and jumping to and from other sites eventually breaks the related file relationship, cannot write to localhost testing server etc.This requires, in my experience, resetting preferences, server details and starting again.As this is the third time in 2 months I'm now using BBEdit and FileZilla for website building.  It's certainly not as good for previewing files but at least it's rock solid, now I have to learn to visualize code without localhost preview.If anyone else has a fast formula to reset and restore settings before corruption (Correct term?) please let me know. How can I update  newest version Dreamweave from Internet?

I recently upgraded from CS6 to the 2021 Adobe Cloud. My co-worker who also updates our website (which is housed on our local servers), has not yet upgaded to the Cloud version. I need to know how to migrate or import our current site and hopefully still have both of us be able to continue editing and working on it till they are also able to upgrade to the Cloud.

But dreamweaver is not even launching. It crashes right away. I already uninstalled and re-installed it again. Any ideas?

Hello.  I am revamping an old site.  The client still wants her flash movie/video.  Without using flash at all, what program/technique can I use to make a video with just images and text?  Thanks for any help.

Does anyone know about a good tutorial for setting up DW with AMPPS to be used as the testing server?

I have installed the WAMP webserver and try to set up the testing server in DW.Everything is configured like the Adobe book is telling me, but.... Actually, It should be working now, but I get this error msg:Dynamicly relates files could not be resolvedbecause the site defenitions is not correct for this server.Sometimes I get this error to:This page may have dynamically related files that can only be discovered by the server. After the message I have two choices: Discover and Preferences. No of those choices is helping me.

originally this file type said "Can't find a valid editor for this file extension" i added to the open in code view list in the preferences so now it at least opens in dreamweaver.how do i get this file type to be searchable when not open if i do search from selected files?already tried adding to MMDocumentTypes.xml under  <documenttype id="HTML" also are there multibles of this file? i found one in "%appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CC 2019\en_US\Configuration\DocumentTypes" and another in "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2019\configuration\DocumentTypes" and updated both...

Hi! I'm trying to do a site similar to umusic.com but I have an issue. I don't know which size my image should be to fit the whole page and without losing quality of the picture.  Do you know how big it should be? In pixels...A start page like this... how big is the picture of Nirvana? 

Hi, I have tried to find the solution....I had a switch view toggle button (code/design etc) up top of the screen but now it's vanished and I need to go to view>code drop down, which is a pain. Any idea how to retrieve it?thanks

Long story short, I was put in charge of managing my robotics team's website this year, and I've realized that I'm in way over my head. I really haven't had any guidance or someone to train me on how our website works, they kind of just told me what my job was (update our website throughout the year) and left me to do it.One piece of advice that I got was to test/preview my changes on my dev subdomain before making changes to my main FQDN, and I'm going to be honest I don't really know what that means. I've had some trouble the past couple days though where I accidentally put changes on my remote server that I shouldn't have.I guess my question is how do I create some sort of version control system with my dev subdomain where I can test changes there and then push them to my main domain? Should I use an FTP client? I'm not sure. Could someone help me out?  Thanks,A struggling high school student in much need of help.

I have a page with product images - 4 items on each row. I have tried to insert the Shopify code for the Buy Button under each product but I can't get the buttons to line up properly. They stack on top of each other vertically.Would anyone know how to add the correct styles to my style sheet to have the buttons line up under each item? I have recently decided to try to automate some tasks and went to look for the History panel and see that it has been removed since v 2017. I have a sequence of 10 search and replace operations that I need to run on a regular basis that would be perfect for a command.How do I record Commands now?

As mentioned, the previous mode stopped working after a few changes have been made to either the html file or the css file. The preview function does work, but I had to click preview again really often which is a little annoying: Is there a way to solve it or is this what everybody encounters. Thank you very much.

I'm having issue extracting my PSD to web design. This keeps showing up, tried signing out and uninstalling the dreamweaver but nothing seem to change

Should be easy but I can't seem to find any references to changing the length of time that an image in a carousel shows before moving to the next.  Default seems to be around 5 secs but I wish to make it somewhat longer (20s?).  Looked in all sorts of areas of properties within DW but cannot find the one I want (or screen, or input box...).  Looked all around this community for a similar question that might help to no avail, at least cannot find anything with what I would think would be the obvious words in the search either in DW community of woth Google ie timing carousel etc... Where do I look? ThanksTim..

Hello.  Three of the websites I manage have contact pages for sending email to the officials.  When I tested these links yesterday, they don't work.  Well, not quite true.  They 'almost' work.  On one of my machines, It does open the mail program, but that's all.  It does not open a new email with the name and subject line.  It just sits there.  On another win 10 laptop, clicking the link opens a screen (see below) that lists parameters for such an action.  However, if I open that site on my phone, it works fine.  Up comes the new email ready to be filled in and sent.  I can't say whether it works on any other outside computer because I haven't tried it on another machine.  Since it does work on one device, I'm assuming there is no code issue going on in Dreamweaver and must be related to settings on both local machines.  I just can't figure out what those might be.  I've tried all the usual suspects.  The defau
