Hi, I'm a beginner here with Adobe Admin Console. I have two questions regarding it:1. If we removed a user from Product License in Admin Console, would it remove the software from the computer? Or it's just prevent user to use?2. If we don't have Local Admin rights in user's computer or don't allow install/uninstall, what's the best way to distribute the software? Thanks.
We have 3 different users running on our current PC. Only the Administrator (me) is authorized and needs to use CC. However when one of the other users logon to Windows they are required to log in to CC. They can of course close the CC application but the problem is when I log on to my Windows account I have to go through the login process for CC when I actually didnt ever log out of.Many programmes ask when installing if the programme should be installed for current user or all users. This unfortunately does not happen with CC.Is there a solution to this problem?
Hello, I've downloaded the template of the actual user groups (only 2) and imported into openoffice. I've saved the file as csv. The only difference between the entrie I can see is the missing bom in the ods file. But this make no difference when using user upload by csv.I've tried:- adding bom- including text in '- using only one line- editing the file and converting a long - (I do not check the code) to a short - (the "normal one" :-)) The Assigned Product Profiles name in the downloaded file has a long german name - strangeThe admin console does not give any senseful feedback, just error - this is the most annoyingfact of this tool.Any help would be niceKarsten
Good Morning,we use virtual desktops and the Adobe CC applications should provide with Citrix AppLayer Technology. Simply put, we starting the virtual machine and add the application after starting (if the user have the permission). Here we have the problem that the user gets a new PC name every day. Due to this fact the user have to add his username and password every day again. Now my question: It is possible to do a workaround? Is it possible tochange our User license to license with one serial number?I find a post in a forum (it seems like our problem)https://communities.vmware.com/thread/577568RegardsSascha
I've created an application installation in SCCM to install 19.008.20071. Everything works fine in the install, but the Chrome extension isn't being installed and I need this feature for my Business Services folks. If I download the public version of .20071 to a single machine and install, the Chrome extension is there. How can I get the extension to install with version that I download for distribution use? I'm packaging this for distribution to 300+ machines.
I have 14 computers that need Acrobat Reader installed and I was trying to do it via a script through our LabTech software using shell commands.while the commands do run on their own directly from the workstations (i have a separate workstation that i have been using to test my scripts) I cant seem to get them to work through LabTech. I have reached out to Labtech and am still waiting to hear from them and I have tried to call Adobe but they do not provide phone support for Reader. I would like to know what I need to properly set up a script that I can input into LabTech and install Adobe Reader silently.
We have a Windows Server 2016 Remote Desktop environment, on which Adobe Acrobat X and Adobe Reader DC are installed. Users are not able to select Acrobat X as their default PDF handler, not via Explorer or via Acrobat X. When trying so using Acrobat X, an installer windows will open and eventually crash. When I perform a repair of the Acrobat X installation, everything will be fine for a few days, but after a few days the exact some problems occur. Can Acrobat X and Reader DC co-exist? On Windows Server 2016 Remote Desktop?
I currently have Creative Cloud installed on my personal laptop under my employers license Adobe for Teams. I am losing my job at the end of the month and want to buy a personal subscription to Creative Cloud for individuals. Do I need to uninstall everything on my laptop and then reinstall to purchase an individual subscription?
Hello, just recently I purchased Adobe Photoshop and whenever I login to Adobe it says that I have one license available (the Photoshop one), but whenever I start Photoshop it says that my free trial is over. When I click "license this software" it sends me to "Sign in required", I sign in with my ID and then I get the following message: "No Subscription Found (even though I have one), we couldn't find a Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 subscription associated with this Adobe ID." What do I do now?
Hi, We are a school attempting to deploy the latest Adobe Suite. I built it last week using Cloud Packager and have installed it successfully on systems, but am receiving the following messages when attempting to open InDesign:The specified path is invalid. And then after clicking ok:Unable to launch Adobe InDesign as you lack sufficient permissions to access the preferences folders. Ensure that you have appropriate permissions and then restart Adobe InDesign. We also receive Dreamweaver encountered problems while constructing the menus from the current menus.xml file. Please delete the current menus.xml file and rename menus.bak to menus.xml.These are fresh installs - and as an Adminstrator I can open both programs, but both staff and students cannot. What folders do I need to add write permissions to, so that we can access these programs?Best wishes,
I am trying to deploy adobe professional 2017 out to users via SCCM and need to have it not ask for a login upon launching the application. I have used the Acrobat Customization Wizard DC to modify the package and add the serial number in and grant offline exception but it still ask for login. I have tried it with the boxes checked for "allow standalone Acrobat deployment with CCE serial and "Suppress display of EULA with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
I have been trying to build a new install of Adobe Reader DC (17.012.20095) for deployment to our PC's using the customisation wizard and am experiencing a number of issues. The first issue is that the customised install continuously throws errors when launched about chrome_elf.dll not existing, a full unaltered install places this file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroCEFI assume something in my customisation removes this from being installed but how do i stop Reader from looking for it? The only workarounds seem to be building in something to copy the file or by deleting RdrCEF.exe and RdrServicesUpdater.exe from the directory which will both resolve the issue but would i rather Adobe fixed the underlying issue with the installer or customisation tool. The second issue relates to adding in HKCU entries into the customisation wizard and them not working and ending up in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\[RegistryHiveName]\Inst
Hi We operate on a Windows 2012 terminal server environment and although there is potential for approx 80 or so users to be logged on via Remote Desktop, only 8 or so users would actually need to use the software. I'm not really wanting to install software on local machines but no point in licencing for 80. Is there anything you can advise please to solve the problem? Thanks
Olá, colegas da comunidade.Eu tenho o photoshop cs5 ativado em um computador e preciso transferi-lo para o meu novo computador, porém eu perdi a licença, tem uma forma de remover a licença e me informar para que eu possa ativar no novo computador?

Hi,I was looking here:Adobe Security Bulletin Document Cloud Product Tracks — Enterprise Administration Guide And I was wondering what path we should choose. We would like to lock down patches ie: we don't want it to update automatically, as we'd like to do some testing really. The fact that only the latest update is available doens't matter too much, if it means that we can schedule it as and when we please, and so that we can check the general firmware. Also, I'd imagine you can just patch over whatever we've got already, instead of re-installing Adobe reader every time, and recustomising it every time? Thanks
Is it possible to create individual packages for creative cloud programs instead of 1 big package? The single package is a little too big to deploy over the network, so we would like to be able to create and deploy multiple little packages 1 app at a time instead. If it's possible, how would I do it?[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved to Deployment forum... Mod]
Greetings.I'm trying in vain to stop adobe showing the eula and welcome screen every time a network user runs the program. I've used profile manager to set manual plist changes (com.adobe.Reader.plist) under the DC branch however nothing I seem to do works. I've even tried running the program, setting it up, copying the created plist, uploading it into profile manager and using those settings, still no joy. Please can anyone help as to where I am going wrong. Thanks
Hi all,I've recently inherited the task of administering Adobe Acrobat 2017 Licenses for my organization. I've been trying to sort through our installs vs purchased licenses count. We use the TLP license type. I've been told that before we transitioned to the Adobe TLP, there were several boxed retail versions of Adobe Acrobat 2017 purchased and installed. My goal is to sort out which copies are using our TLP serial number, to make sure we stay in compliance with the total number purchased. Is there any way I can look for this information on my network, or get Adobe to check their systems for this information? I really don't want to wait until we hit the limit and get denied an install, or worse go over that limit and be out of compliance with Adobe. I'm not sure what information adobe keep in regards to mapping a serial number to a device, but ideally a way to track which machines the specific key is on is what I'm looking for. Any assistance would b
I am currently building a custom package for Adobe Reader 2017 (classic track), using the Adobe Acrobat Customization Wizard DC (2015).My goal is to have protected mode enabled for all files, except those I designate. In this case, I want the logged in user's desktop and documents to show up as trusted, as well as an file that is launched from within our fileserver. Sounds pretty simple right? Here are the settings:After doing some digging, it seems that the system variables are not support, so question 1 is how can I allow only those two folders within the user's profile to be listed as trusted, while not having their downloads folder or any temp cache folder being included? I have 5000 or so users, all with unique user names, so manually setting them is not feasibleOnce I installed the application, I went to security settings, and this is what was listed:It was originally blank, so I added the local user's documents folder. However, none of the hosts or trusted
I am trying to create a package in Windows 10. I get through all the dialogs and it begins to download. However, it never gets to the summary page. The destination directory is empty. I get sent back to the application selection screen.Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
All my students downloaded and installed trial versions of Lightroom. With the packager I tried putting a license on a USB-drive and installing this on their PCs and MacBooks. This doesn't seem to "unlock" their trial versions. What to do?
