Enable an option for permissions to be changed from CAN VIEW to CAN EDIT, specifically for business storage when using "everyone" folders. Currently, there is only a way to set a VIEW or EDIT setting when first creating the library, but not after the library is created. This is specific to the "everyone" listing and not shares to individual users.
I noticed how much screenspace in the CC Library UI is filled with stuff I rarely use or only serves a 'set up once'-function. Currently it's like this:- Panel name- Library name- Search bar- taskbar with filter options- Finally we arrive at the actual content, which has very large group headers that take up even more space. I think it would be much better to have a cleaner layout that allows you to collapse or hide elements of the UI that you don't need (similar to how the links panel in ID can be customised). 5 cm's of the top of the panel is currently filled with ui. Would love to have a compact file browser at the bottom of the screen, but that's impossible with the amount of UI elements at the top.
It's pretty annoying when I am constantly kicked out of Acrobat Pro (which my work pays for) when I open up Lightroom or Photoshop (which I pay for). I even canceled my personal email plan and set up a "profile" because an Adobe employee told me it won't kick me out. Guess what? Profiles does it too.I would like to be able to stay SIGNED IN ON A BUSINESS APP while also being SIGNED IN ON A PERSONAL APP on the SAME COMPUTER. This has been requested over 1,000 times (seriously search the forums) going back 6 years! Adobe is the only company making this difficult...
Great idea that saves you time when sending out for review, but I would love to see on this tool the followng:1. Be able to rotate pages2. Be able to copy and paste text when you receive a review in the apps3. Be able to send out specific pages from all the apps, now it is only available in illustrator4. Be able when paste the link in the email to have description and preview of the image like in Dropbox5. Be able to send high res files for SHARE TO PRINT.
when it's time to populate a lib we have to select one color a a time and add it, why not give a choice to add all colors selected
When replacing an asset in Illustrator with an asset from the CC Library, the search field is greyed out, and it is impossible to search for an asset.
A review often means proofreading a layout with text blocks arranged upside-down. The inability to rotate the preview renders this whole "shared for review" feature useless.
It's simple: since this major feature that is one of the main reasons why many small companies with small teams like me choose the enterprise (1 Tb) subscription instead of a personal (100 Gb) plan is being discontinuated, the price of the plan should change as well, to less, of course. The "options" that Adobe is trying to pretend that are "the same thing" as Creative Cloud Files are not really better: "Cloud Documents" is only available in a few programs, lik PS and AI. For Premiere and After Effets users, is not possible to use. "Cloud Documents" only supports a few file types, so if you use other types of files in your project and want to save them in the same folder, it's not possible. "Frame.io", another Adobe app for project management, requires a different subscription, and the free version only gives you 100 Gb of space. The worst part of all is that Adobe is trying to pretend that, by killing this feature, they are doing a good thing! I rein
It is just unprofessional to create an interface for assets and not allow downloads at the folder level. Seems to me you are making it intentionally problematic so that I just purchase more space. It's 2022! You have millions of users. How hard could this be. Make it a priority! And while you're at it add some valuable metadata and the ability to sort by it.
Love the new update, it is much cleaner and more intuitive. Seems to be a good base to continue to add features too. I would love to see added functionality to the comment/review system. Websites like Wipster/ScreenLight offer a feature that puts a marker on the current timecode when the comment is entered so reviews can more accurately describe where an edit is to be made. Next, a checklist feature would be really handy. A way to check an edits as being made to better organized what edit has been completed and which ones have not. Finally, piggybacking on the new version comment, it would be handy to have a new version upload button with a version update notification or something like that.Keep up the great work Assets team.
I know you want me to purchase an upgrade, but we also need the ability to manage my current assets occupying space on the cloud. And it should be easy to find.
When doing a major change like this you should ALWAYS give the option for paying customers to revert back to the old version. You haven't got all the features that the old version had and yet launched it, very unprofessional. Please let me go back until you sort the bugs and problems out. I want to be able to download a file in different formats like before
The system does not prominently confirm when items are being uploaded - several times this has resulted in me doing multiple uploads of the same item, because the system did not prominently, visually confirm that an upload had been initiated.

You currently cant at template .AIT file types to your adobe cc library. This should be a feature.
Both the cloud document and publish sections can have many files listed. Right now it is just a long list of files which is very overwhelming. To keep files organized It would be very helpful to have a folder structure.
There is no date and time stamp on the assets when they are uploaded into the cloud. It only gives a vague...upload 4 days ago. I hope there will be some attention to this as I look to see when an asset was uploaded especially when someone says they could not find it. This is a collaborative tool that our team used in the previous version.
I have been looking through the request features page. It seems like everyone have the same or related ideas. There should be a way for users to submit requests to link existing ideas. This will mean that these ideas will get more votes and they'll not get missed like they currently are.
Search is missing many of the filtering and sorting functions expected of modern file management. You've got many of those, of course, in Bridge. Your audience is also professional and often comfortable with searches using syntax. Suggest you adopt the same syntax used in Google Search for the Web and for Drive.
I need to save a group of colors (Process colors, CMYK or RGB) and when i save them and add them to a new document the colors are solid colors. Please change that.
Generally, when items are placed in an InDesign library, they retain the page coordinates of their absolute location on the page. Sadly the CC Library doesn't retain this information (it's only drag and drop), which forces designers to spend a lot of time precisely aligning elements when that feature could be automated.1) Allow the assignment of a master template to library items. I noticed that all items added to a CC Library (when edited directly from the library) access a generic letter-sized InDesign document. Would it be possible to point instead to a specific base template that matches our custom page size, styles, baseline grid, color palette, etc.?2) Let us use the Description field (or a custom field) where we can input an X and Y coordinate that the Paste in Place feature takes advantage of?3) Some other custom control or additional command that allows an InDesign element to retain its X, Y positioning information -OR- the designer can drag the item out, but it loses its X, Y
When I save a Color Palette in InDesign the colors will be saved as individual colors in the Library Panel. But in Illustrator I'm able to save the colors as a Color Pallet element type. Please make InDesign behave as Illustrator.
Why have Cloud Assets if I can't add the files to libraries?Made a whole nice folder suite of logos and icons and palates for my team but thats all it is, a cloud folder. I/we all have access to the same thing in a gdrive cloud folder.Did i miss the point of libraires? Should they have just be grabbing files and using them in their own CC Apps? So are CC Cloud files only that, cloud files. The team can drop those into their design program, and then add them to their own library? thanks for any more clarification, I can't find any recent help topics except for like 2014 when adobe CC was first going and they said that integration was in the works..
I use Creative cloud for work, and I loved the ability to easily sync between multiple computers. I store a lot of files on the archive in order to save space and not have constant sync issues tying up my machines, and only unearth old files as needed. Now all my achieved files are in the deleted folder, and I can't even scroll to find them (all my files don't populate when I reach the end of the scroll block). Without the search function I can't even narrow down the file options. The old file management system was awful too, but at least I could search for my files. This is unacceptable, my files were in an archive for a reason and now I can't access them.tldr; bring back the archive separate from the trash folder & bring the search function back. More ways to sort files would be nice too (ex. when files are in folders, only list the folders unless searched for. This would reduce clutter since currently files and folders are all listed as separate items)
