Present Aspect Ratio of Picture in Library Module for easy reference.  I tis very important to be able to quickly scan and recognize the current aspect ratio in addition to pixel dimensions.  All that is requied is to create a calculation of pixel Width/pixel Height and show this number as a decimal and/or fraction.  THis is critical for ease of reference for print purposes as well as other compositional workflows.

I was recently had a situation where there was motion in multiple bracked images that I needed to merge with a set amount of de ghosting. I'm not seeing a way to set this amount before applying "merge" to multiple stacks. Also, the resulting HDR image does not appear to be in the collection afterwards and can be difficult to track down from "All Photographs".

Is it possible to map shortcuts for the quick develop Settings in the Library Module? It want to map this littel helpful functions to my midi controller, but there is no way to do this without shortcuts...

I am a sports photographer, and Getty Images *requires* the use of the IPTC "Personality" field for all athletes shown in the image before submission.  I do most of my sorting, culling, IPTC labeling in PhotoMechanic before importing to Lightroom for toning and cropping (No AI anything allowed!). PhotoMechanic supports the Personality field, which I use to insert the subject of the image's name.  However, when I search for an athlete in Lightroom's "all searchable fields" , I get a "nothing found" result.     In searching Adobe.com, I don't see "Personality" field supported by Adobe (yet).    It seems that Getty would have enough weight to get Adobe to support the Personality IPTC field.

I might be alone in thinking this, but I'd love to see the Tone adjustments and the Effects (Texture, Clarity, Dehaze) adjacent in the Mask Adjustment Panel. In other words, I'd like the Effects panel moved up (and renamed) to sit just below the Tone adjustment panel.  IMO the "Effects" are mis-grouped and share more in common with Tonal (contrast) adjustments than, say, grain and lens blur.    Thoughts?

I would find it most useful if the Collection Sets had a Collection counter where I have the red arrow. It would be much easier than having to manually count the Collections.   TIA

I'm currently scanning a bunch of old family photos, and inverting the negatives in Lightroom Classic using Negative Lab Pro. However, facial recognition doesn't work for any of these photos, presumably because the face detection is looking at the original negative files, not with the changes made in lightroom to make it positive? Does anyone know of a workaround for this? If not, my feature suggestion / bug fix would be: Allow Lightroom Classic to run the face detection on a preview of the file with changes so that it can properly recognize faces on negatives.

I am looking to create a smart collection for all images that I have printed via Lightroom. Currently there doesn't seem to be a way to do this unless you manually keyword the image or manually add the image to a collection. Images printed in Lightroom have a tag in their History that indicates that they have been printed and the date and time, but this isnt searchable. Making this searchable would allow smart collections to be easily built, would this be possible?

I think it would be a great idea in radial masks to be able to drag around the center point of the mask so that the feather is not the same the whole way around.  This would increase the versatility of this mask feature.  

Hello,    I always edit photos using the reference photo view but this view is closed after I rotate a photo. I always have to press the shortcut to open the reference photo view which is very annoying.    I understand that reference photo will not displayed while I rotate a photo but why after the rotation this view is closed?    Please change.    I noticed this bug in every LrC Version, also on 13.0.1I'm using MacOS. 

PROBLEM Prior to LrC/13.3,  In the Lightroom Sync tab of the Preferences dialog there was a list of images that were in the process of syncing with the Adobe Cloud.  This was removed as of LrC/13.3 when the cloud sync architecture was updated to improve performance and reliability.      However, we are still seeing a large number of situations where numbers of images get stuck in the sync process and just sit there in limbo without change,  Other than being able to see how many images are in process each way, there is no place in LrC to see which images are involved other than a lenghy and complicated process to generate and then decipher a diagnostic report.  In addition it is not clear how to read those diagnostic reports.   PROPOSAL Someplace in LrC itself, please provide a list of the images that are in the process of syncing in each direction.  If possible, inlude which direction they are going and what is being synced (just metadata, f

I recently discovered that when using "Settings > Paste from previous" that LRc calulates the aspect ratio for the crop from the image dimensions and ignores the user set aspect ratio such as Original, As Shot, etc.This creates issues with images edited outside of LRc might have their aspect ratio altered as LRc sees it as a different aspect ratio from the original due to interger rounding. It would, for example,  crop a 6000x4000 image to 5999x4000 but it also the case that just because one image is 1:1 outside of LRc it doesn't mean LRc should force that ratio upon other images.   LRc should be consistent with the user facing values the same as it does with the White Balance for example, which doesn't simply paste the Kelvin value from the previous image, it respects the displayed setting, eg. As Shot, Daylight, etc.This would help greatly with workflows that involve editing work in PS before returning to LRc for further global tweaks. For example, when replacing backgro

Suggestion for Improved Virtual Copy Functionality in Quick Collection   I’ve noticed that when creating virtual copies within Quick Collection, the virtual copy automatically jumps to the beginning of the collection. This disrupts the workflow, especially when working with a large series of images. It would be much more efficient if virtual copies remained next to the original file, consistent with the behavior in Collections, Smart Collections, and regular folders.   Thank you for considering this improvement.

I use the badges to see at a glance which photos have adjustments, but now the "Photo is in collection" badge is cluttering up the badge field (is that a new badge?)  This particular badge is completely useless to me, so I'd like to be able to turn it off without turning off the "Crop" and "Adjustment" badges.     Please allow users to select *which* badges are displayed in the filmstrip (and/or any other locations).  Thank you!

Microsoft has this for many of their products. I had to call Adobe for help because there is no option to repair an installation in Lightroom Classic. Uninstalling and reinstalling just put it back the same way - with missing functions.

I would like to be able to have different Crop versions of an image, e.g. different aspect ratios for different purposes (different social channels, wallpapers on different screens, different print sizes, etc). I can do this with Virtual Copies, but that creates a new separate copy of all edits that are disconnected from the original source. I would like to be able to create a limited version of a Virtual Copy where all edits except cropping are still live-linked to the original source file and the only variable that changes in the limited Virtual Copy is the Crop. i.e. I could change Exposure or White Balance or Masks, etc on the one original source file, and all the Crop-Copies would inherit those changes within their Cropped Aspect Ratios. In the current implementation of Virtual Copies, I would either need to go make those edits again on each copy (manually or sync), or delete the Virtual Copy and re-create and re-crop a new Virtual Copy to inherit the new edits. Hello, the community in classic Lightroom, the latest version with noise reduction by AI, I find it fantastic and I use it absolutely all the time every time. On the other hand, would it be possible to bring a button or a function so that I can have the choice so that the original raw files no longer appear and so that only the raw files processed with accentuation appear? Otherwise I'm losing a crazy amount of time to remove the original files one by one and that doubles the number of photos and even doubles the weight of the report on my hard disk. if I ask for batch processing by AI, it's because I no longer want to have the original raw files in the dupsiser but only the accented raw files. I have a 14" macbook which I use both connected and not connected to a 32" 4k external monitor. There's a pretty big difference in physical size between the 2 monitors which results in personal preference differences to the lightroom classic UI elements. Particulally thumbnail size and panels (width or visibility).So when I switch from using the laptop screen to the external monitor, my first few minutes are spent adjusting the size and locations of UI elements for the new screen. Couple ideas to streamline this and be more friendly to the user:a) lightroom remembers and applies the last state of the UI elements on a per monitor basisb) someway for me to save and apply layouts (kinda like UI state presets)mike

I would love to have the devs create an "Effective ISO" metric that reflects not just the ISO at which an image was shot, but also the ISO with the added Exposure adjustment (E.g. an image shot at 1000 ISO but with +1 Exposure would have an Effective ISO of 2000 and with a +2 Exposure would have an Effective ISO of 4000.) This would be particularly useful with adaptive presets. For instance, I create adaptive noise reduction presets for 1000, 4000, and 10000 ISO, but because I sometimes under-expose (due to running around at events), I have to adjust my Exposure a few stops to compensate. When I do that, I then have to guess what noise reduction preset to add. I can't help but think that it would be awesome to have an "Effective ISO" metric that the adaptive presets to calibrate to rather than the "ISO As Shot." I think it would also be useful just to kind of know more intuitively how ISO is changing as Exposure adjustments are added.(Granted, the Effective ISO obviously changes if you

I propose creating a tool (AI?) that would select or flag images that are blatantly undesirable.   One of my least liked aspect of my workflow it culling through thousands of images to find the gems.  It would be so helpful if Lightroom can select out those that I am highly unlikely to keep.  Blurred images.  Accidental shots of the ground or sky.  People who have heads cut off.  Etc.

I wish, I could rate my picture using my evaluation-stars and -colors directly during the import process and adding specific meta-tags maybe just to one photo (and not the entire import).For instance: I am shooting all day for 5 different projects - they all mix on one SD-card. Coming back, I have to go thru the import-process 5 times, looking thru all the pictures over and over again to sort out the pictures for these five projects.Why can ́t I do this straightaway during import? Am I over looking something already there in LR?I hope, you can understand my wish.

PROBLEM One very common issue users of LrC have are missing files and folders.  Well over 70% of my LrC Help clients come to me with some version of this problem.  The existing "Find Missing" tools in LrC work as designed, and many times re-linking one photo winds up re-linking hundreds of other nearby images at the same time.   However in many cases, depending on exactly how the images became missing,  one winds up having to manually re-link images one at a time which can be an impossible task if there are hundreds or thousands of such images (a client yesterday had over 11,000).    SUGGESTIED IDEA In the Import Dialog, add a new checkbox below the "Don't import suspected duplicates" box called "Relink Missing Photos".    If this box is checked and there is also a version of the photo in the catalog marked as missing, rather than importing the image and creating a new catalog entry for it, re-link the existing (missing)  photo to the locati
