I used the Mavic mini2 I borrowed from a friend recently and it's a very fun toy which has an automatic 360 panorama mode, Where are you Press the shutter, Wait 30 seconds and you have a perfect panorama from anywhere in space above you. its even RAW and not JPG. Amazing!   Import to Lightroom \ Photomerge \ Edit in Photoshop(Beta)  \ Filter-Distortion-Polar Coordinates- gets you a nice Stereographic Projection...   And here, you notice that the middle/bottom is messed up because light room doesn't stitch the bottom properly, though the shot of the bottom exists, it's just that the panorama Editor has never been updated and brought up to date for a real professional workflow. As it is with many other things, it's kind of been forgotten because it's good enough for most and the rest... well... {There does exist one other good panorama stitching tool I am aware of called PTgui / Hugin unfortunately that is based on open source and also hasn't been updated since the turn of

In the Print Module we should be able to "Print to TIFF", at 8-bit and 16-bit.   We can already print to JPEG but many would prefer to print to TIFF.    

When exporting raw files to JPG all JPG files exported will have the date and time modified to the current date and time the file was actually exported. This can cause issues in programs that rely on the creation date and time instead of the date and time inherent to the exif files (like MacOS Photos!).   Therefore, I suggest Adobe to add a checkbox during JPG export, to retain the date and time according to the information alrady present in the exif files.   Silkypix is already capable of this as show in the attachment below.   Thank you.

There are some companies now offering AI editng, learning your editing style and white balance preferences based on numerous previous completed edits or anchor edits within the same file. Can this technology not be built into lightoom somehow? We already have auto settings and 'match total exposures' but if other companies have this technology, then it could potentially be easy for adobe to implement within the software? Happy to help with any beta testing.  thanks 

Is it possible to put the print Template Browser on the right side of Lightoom to not have to move the mouse accross the screen over and over? It is by far the most used item I would use in a higer volume workflow...

When perspective correction is selected in camera for the Leica Q3 (I have it set to On/Off on the Q3's option button #2), this does not appear to activate in LR Classic when converting the DNG, using the camera's image metadata. Only manual perspective correction appears to be available, which makes the camera feature rather pointless. I am using LR Classic (V 13.0.1) on an M2 MacBook Air with 16GB RAM and with Sonoma 14.0 Operating System. Profile corrections does not list the Leica Q3 but only the M, R and S models. 

It would be a really cool feature to be able to sync video films from Desktop Lightroom to Mobile Lightroom rather than just the other way round. We use Lightroom Mobile to present image media to clients but have to switch from Mobile Lightroom to another programme when we move the presentation from 'stills' to the 'motion'.

I would love to have a social profile/groups, through the apps, that we can do things such as asking for tips, creating a following, add our social media's onto our profile - kind of like a support community, and to help grow our businesses/personal hobbies and or other, and possibly sell our art, as well. #AdobeSocialCommunity   It would be good to have a platform seperate from the others, just to focus on the Adobe community, socially with above ideas infultraited. 

  I shoot sports... and it's super useful to RATE SHOTS IN THE CAMERA using the "rating" button on the back (a very small % of shots are keepers).   Photos work perfectly ... but when video comes into Lightroom the stars aren't preserved at all-- they are just dropped.  In the LR classic forum, JohnRellis investigated and found:   the sample video from EOS R6 and another from the Canon EOS R50 (released last year), both use the industry-standard metadata field Quicktime:Rating to store ratings, whereas LR reads ratings from EXIF:Rating and XMP:Rating.      REQUEST: please add support for import of Quicktime:Rating for all us Canon shooters taking video!   thx

It would be very helpful if LRC would automatically highlight, within the folder tab (especially in color!) the folder name/path of your most recent import. As an example of how this affects me, I very often create very similar or identical subfolders for sports shoots I do. When importing images that I may have in a folder labeled "RAW", I don't always import the master folders above it because I might not want other subfolders included in the import (like say a "video clips" folder).  The result of this is that I can have numerous folder in LRC that show as  "RAW" or "Cam A" with subfolder "RAW" below it, etc.  So, when I initially do my import and it finishes, the Library module appears with the new images, but the particular folder containing them over on my left sidebar is hidden amongst it's peers that look very similar, and it might not be initially visible due to a long list of folders (have to scroll up/down to find it). It would be great if LR Classic added a feature to convert brush presets to XMP format as well so they can be used in Camera RAW as well as LR Classic. Currently brush presets only work in  LR Classic and only in lrtemplate format unlike regular presets that get read and converted on the fly by LR Classic from lrtemplate to XMP format.

I'm a relatively newbie to Lightroom and I think it is fantastic. It does occur to me that pros who have been using Lightroom for a while understand all the issues about selections, settings, copying, pasting, synchronising etc etc. Like many things in life the people who do things almost as second nature forget what it was like to be a beginner. The one thing that has surprised me about lightroom is that I cannot find a way of indicating "I am happy with this - I just want to lock it to ensure I don't damage, amend or delete it" through my own incompetence.

Feature Description: I am requesting an enhancement to the Auto White Balance feature in Lightroom Classic to make it more flexible and targeted, particularly when dealing with images containing people. Currently, the Auto White Balance adjustment applies uniformly across the entire image. I propose adding functionality to focus the Auto White Balance on specific subjects within the image, such as skin tones, or to selectively apply it through masking. Justification: In my professional workflow, starting edits with auto settings significantly speeds up my process. However, the current one-size-fits-all approach to Auto White Balance often does not suit images with people, as it does not adequately balance skin tones. This requires additional manual adjustments, reducing the efficiency of using the auto settings. When re-linking a photo, the dialog box is an outdated type of window. It doesn't display the path, like literally every single other dialog box used in every other app.   It's like Lightroom is using an older version of Windows for this specific action.   I can't simply paste in the proper path to re-link the file.   Please update it to use a more modern dialog box.   See below for the different dialog box used to open a catalog, for example.      

Is there a method to better filter the files you want to import from a master folder? I'll post a screen grab of what I'm referring to to help explain, but here's my issue. If, when importing, I want to keep the master folder name as part of the import, some of my subfolders may have file types that I do NOT want to include, particularly video files.  The import dialog window shows a way to sort photos, but not a way to filter out file types.  And if I was to highlight the 60 video clips that it was ganging up with all my raw still image files, it doesn't allow me to just deselect those highlighted ones. All you can do is "check all" or "uncheck all".  The net effect of all this is that I end up doing imports on just subfolders only, which then do not show master foders above them. My use of similar subfolder naming therefore makes the folder panel of the Library module a confusing mess.

In my area all the Google map styles (including satellite data) are horrible and unuseable.It would be so easy to use the much better OpenStreetMap in LightroomBut everytime there is an update of the software, the file "Location.lrmodule" is overwritten. Please integrate OpenStreetMap in the Map Module as a map style.

Please add Plug-in metadata type for 'number' and Add smart collection search definition for 'gerater than' , 'less than' to Custon metadata.   I 'm Making Image evaluation app externallly by launching for LrTask, Returning results as Plug-in metadata. but 'string' and 'enum' type not have compare functionality. (only exists/not exist, empty/isn's empty)  

I often round up photos to work on using the library filter or a smart collection. Unfortunately, as soon as I start working on them, they often disappear - you know what I'm talking about, right? (criteria that was holding the photo(s) gets cleared). How about a lock button, such that the contents of the filtered list or smart collection won't change until unlocked. (at a minimum, add "Empty Collection" to context menu, since my present workaround is to copy from smart collection to dumb (temp/to-do) collection. But, I often want to clear the to-do collection for a new round, without selecting it and thus losing my present selection...) If you like this idea, please remember to click the '+1' button below.

Zoom in on the actual focus point. On the Canon R5 and certainly other models, it is possible to zoom in on the magnified view at the exact point used to focus. With the large images, you don't have to first look for where the sharpness was measured and achieved. I would also like this for Lightroom Classic. When clicking on zoom, jump directly to the point where the sharpness was measured and NOT always to the same point for each image.

When using "Auto" tone in LRC, it seems to always set Vibrance to exactly +15. This is a bad behavior. I think that when we hit the Auto button, the software should be looking at the image and making suggested adjustments, specifically for that image. The fact that Vibrance ALWAYS goes to +15 shows that this is just a random preset that is not necessarily based on the image. If you put an overly saturated image in to LRC and hit Auto, it will become even more saturated. That's terrible. When LRC looks at Exposure, for instance, it will brighten or darken as it sees fit, depending on the image. But Vibrance is NOT being evaluated and therefore should not be adjusted. Or it would be nice if we could set some sort of defaults when auto is used.

Would be great if you could add picture name and metadata to images in the library view I often take multiple images of the same subject with varing ISO, Shutter and Aperature Would help to select photos to import or not import if metadata was avaialbe prior to import

1. I send clients scout galleries via synced collections 2. They make comments  3. I then either refine for a tech scout or build a shot list   The issue is that user comments are specific to a Collection - if I take an image with comments (submited via a synced colection) and add it to another collection (say I take a scout image and add it to my shot list Collection) the comments aren't visible in that new collection.Right now my workaround is to copy comments into the metadate for each image (I use the Caption field), but with 100+ images at a time this is really manual and repetitive. Would be great to have an option to sync comments to metadata.

Is there a function to auto rotate batch of images (eg. auto levels, auto white balance)?If not is there a shortcut to auto rotate?For example, there are shortcuts for:r - rotateshift-a - maximize cropIf not, can this post be categorized as Idea to consider in future version?

I would like to see a few addtional options on when to discard the 1:1 preview data, such as 90 or 120 days.   I have a very large LR Catalog (1.85+ million images) which is currently housed on a 15 TB U.2 SSD locally on my desktop. Right now I have about 4 TB of free space on that drive but am looking ahead to when I will run out of disk space on that drive and options are limited on for getting a larger SSD.   In my particular case I mainly touch photos throughout the school year, for various newspapers and/or schools, but once the school year is over I don't go back to those photos very often, and usually would only be working on a single or smaller number of photos which would minimize the pain to rebuild them if I did go back to them.   Alternatively, if there is a way that I can identify the "age" of the preview files I would not be opposed to a tool to do that, or the information that would allow me to create a script to remove files that were beyond a year old (f

Is it possible that you can place 2 watermarks/logos in the watermark edit. So place a watermark at the top right and bottom right at the same time. Thanks, Roy Froma
