I would love if it were easier to up and downvote images while in full screen mode in mobile. Utilizing the volume buttons would streamline the review process.
I am currently exporting images for multiple purposes. Each purpose I need to tweak the export settings dialog. I would like the ability to define the export settings and save them for future use.e.g. I have a set of values, (long edge max 1048) for a pictures I send to my grandmother (picture frame is max of 1048 display). My personal picture frame (ok, old computer) is a 2K long edge... then desktop backgrounds (4K), and then you have social media....Manually switching these values each time is annoying.
The 5.4 release includes a subtle but nice change dealing with merging the photos. At the top, it displays if Lr was unable to merge some photos. Instead of just displaying an error, Lr continues to generate a preview of the remaining images. It would be nice to display somewhere on the screen, what image failed to merge. e.g. maybe thumbnails under the controls... Tim
Short version: I would like to see the option for Lightroom to be able to push background tasks to a lower priority to keep the application responsive. Long version: I recently was exporting lots of images to make a book for my grandmother who turns 105 in a few months! Anyway, as much as I like the multi-threaded aspect of Lr. I have found my system bogs down and Lr becomes largely unresponsive when exports are running; especially when dealing with images from my new camera or large panos. Using Windows Task Manager, I can lower the priority of Lightroom, and other applications become responsive (CPU is generally pegged at 100%). Therefore, I would like to see the option for Lightroom to be able to push background tasks to a lower priority to keep the application responsive. Tim
Bonjour, sauf erreur de ma part il est impossible de lire une vidéo en plein écran sans avoir la barre de défilement en bas de l'écran. Dommage...Didier P.
So I used to use Lightroom in the past and its a great piece of software, I took a break and returned editing and I could have sword there used to be a button at the top right like a curvy arrow forward and backwards as undo. I didnt see it so off I went to find it and could not figure it out so I used the question mark in a circle button at the top right and typed in the help search box, "undo" and only the full reset showed. So I think it could be benificial to new and future content creators to add the undo short cut key in that search section "CTRL+Z". Thank you for your time and hope I was able to contribute ❤️ -Daniel
I do not use the photo grid view. However, I use keyboard short cuts to switch and move around constantly. As a result; I often have to hit "g" twice and wait as the screen loads. I would therefore like the ability to disable or remove the photo grid from the shortcut. I am also sure there are others who only use photo grid and never the square grid.
Hello guys yesterday I saw we can import videos too in lightroom cc app on phone but when I import I can't able to editing it with my presets please guy's allow this so we can also convert our videos into stunning ones please please this means us a lot ❤️❤️❤️
I would like to see a way to markup with editing notes. This would be a great feature for the mobile Lightroom CC with the iPad, to use the pencil to circle and highlight areas. This way if you are trying to collaborate or review edits before going into detail with photoshop / lightroom. how it would work: There would be a markup button that would enable to highlight by circling an area to signify desired future edits. Example: Circling an area to brighten, darken, sharpen, blur, or add color adjustments. After circling an area a prompt for text input to add a comment (e.g. +1 stop, or darken area). This would sync up with Lightroom library and can be shared across CC library. When adding into Photoshop it would add as a separate layer. Advance modification: When selecting the area, it would add an area transparent modification such as lighten or darken an area, or adding a color hue to make a rough sket
Hi Adobe, Now that I find Lightroom mobile is relative quick to import my files, edit, export and share for my commercial work during sport event. The only issue I have is the file naming, customization is very limited as compare to Lightroom classic. Firstly will be the dash (-) before the numbering, every photo agency have different requirement. I would like to see more option such as underscore ( _ ) can be implemented to user needs. Secondly is the sequence option, in the app there only #1. An event/sport event, we could upload up to 100over of images. I wish we have the option to choose the sequence like Lightroom classic like #01 and #001. At this point of time, my export and sharing images are fast but file name isn't the correct requirement from my agency. I needed to rename all the images again and it's very time consuming, slowing down my workflow. Hope you guys can consider those options in next update for LR mobile
Hi guys! I have a suggestion for the Lightroom app, can you add an adjustment lock feature? For example, let's say I want to lock the exposure at +1 and then I want to add a preset on the photo, but the preset includes a +3 adjustment, so this way I can apply a preset without changing the adjustment that I locked and in the preset browser I can view the small thumbnail with how the photo will look like if I apply the preset on the photo with that locked adjustment. I think it's a useful small feature.
With todays update the long awaited feature and discussion on "P:(Masking) Add auto update recompute to subject /sky masking after copy/paste"was finally implemented on Desktop but NOT on Smartphone CC version. Hence this feature MUST come as well to the cloud apps for LR !
I use Lightroom on Mac Pro, BigSur 11.2.3, I have all my pictures on the external hard drive and do not use the cloud. Next to the album, I can see the number of pictures that were there, but the screen of that album says "This Album Is Empty" add photos etc. It is the second time that it happens. I can see the pictures in the folder and in "All Photos" so this is not an access to the hard drive issue. What is happening?
I have many folders, sub-folders, and albums in my library. When moving photos between albums, Lightroom expands all folders down to the album level when displaying the list of available albums to move the photos to. This is infuriating and causes much needless scrolling to get to the desired folder/album (usually at the bottom of the list because I organize by date and Lightroom displays the list in ascending order). This is only an issue on Lightroom Web (my typical browser is Firefox) -- the Lightroom iPhone app displays folders as collapsed, which is how it should be on Web as well.
Now if I'm correct, this would be incredibly difficult to optimize for lower powered devices such as a smartphone. Most people don't understand just how deep into color data that this tool goes. The other color adjustments manipulate entire pixels, (the r,g, and b) at once in accordance to the desired result. The RGB Calibration tool splits pixels and only adjusts ⅓ of the pixel (the r,g, or b) individually. Talk about minute detail, I'd say it doesn't get any more miniscule than dividing a pixel! Maybe my assumptions are wrong, but it seems like that's how it would work based upon what it does and how it is labeled. Now that I've shared my unsolicited ever powerful knowledge, lol, my request is that you find a way to optimize RGB Color Channels Calibration for Lightroom Mobile for smartphone, or in my case, premium chromebook.
At least give us the option. Why on earth would most people prefer it is unlocked.
I use Lightroom Web (lightroom.abode.com) to share collections. When sharing with friends and family I enable the setting that allows recipeints to download images. However, the downloads are very small JPG files (e.g., 370KB). My suggestion is to provide for an adjustabgle setting such that one could permit higher resolution images to be downloaded, e.g., 5MB. My current soluiton is to send a LR link for easy viewing and a OneDrive link for those who wish to download an image. Of course, this means I need to turn my RAW files into a separate set of JPG images. Many thanks for your consideration, Stuart
I often work in multiple albums, marking photos to be rejected. After doing so, I always have to select "All Photos", then filter for rejected, then delete photos; and finally go back to the album I was working, often re-applying a filter. This multi step process always takes a bit of time waiting for the desktop application to catch up. (I have 30K images). I would like to see either a menu item, or a hot key which can execute the multiple steps without having to leave the current folder.

Also known as "round-tripping", I am constantly stunted by not having the ability to edit my photoshop or lightroom files once you use the Edit in Photoshop feature. I'm not talking about using stacks, or utilizing the multiple layers on a TIF or PSD, or updating versions of each lightroom and photoshop edit after you do the inital lightroom > photoshop > lightroom workflow. Here's my scenario: I loved the edit in photoshop action in Lightroom Classic, and I was excited when the cloud based LR came out, because I move so much between mobile and desktop it's been the better way to use LR in my workflow. In the cloud-based LR, I do all light, color, healing, gradients, etc in LR, and wait until the very end to move to photoshop and make pixel-based edits. I understand LR is non-destructive because you're basically editing the "preview" of the image if you were to apply the edits to it. But once you make pixel-based edits, you can't re-edit your original LR edits on top of th
When I travel, I do NOT format (delete) the images off the camera cards until my laptop has synced the images to the cloud. Therefore, I would like the desktop version to cache the name and some has value for a period of X days (my guess would be 60 to match the server) of any image loaded and prevent loading the image again (or at least prompt/warn the user). Steps to recreate issue: 1. Take photos 2. Load photos from card into Lr 3. Delete some photos in Lr 4. Wait for Lr to sync 5. Add new photos to card 6. Load photos from card into Lr. 7. See deleted photos show up as available to import again... With large cards (128 and 256gb) and two in the camera, I have less urgency to wipe the cards and verify sync is complete before wiping. However it is cumbersome to keep deleting images. My partial workaound, mark images as rejected, remove from my active album, and then wait until the end of the trip to delete the images. This does mean on occasion I have a few thousa
My camera is fairly close to ISO Invariant. As such, I get better pictures by using Lr to enhance the exposure than use the camera to do the same and reduce the dynamic range. However, I have found that facial recognition basically does not work with these images when exposure needs to be increased by two or three stops.
Hello, I've shared album from Lightroom to shared photos with friends and family. I've activated the ability to download JPEG from photos, but when downloaded the EXIF I've put doesn't show even when I set show metadata. Is it possible to shared with EXIF and other metadata with lightroom ? Would love to keep the date and localization even if it came from raw-files and downloaded in JPEG. Thanks a lot
