Feature Requests

I have folders with lots of files to 'share for review' with clients. Instead of sharing individual files, which is time consuming, why can't there be a feature that shares entire folder?

One of my most common workflows is working on clipboard content, but whereas taking a screenshot is super easy, getting it into a Photoshop document is more cumbersome than it could be, with panels, confirmations, extra keystrokes, etc. Could we please have some or all of: FileNew Document From Clipboard if there is clipboard contentEdit > Paste Special...Paste Into New DocumentHome panelCtrl+V creates new image from clipboardNew Document panelCtrl+V creates new image from clipboardYour Recent Items > Clipboard is auto-populated with the clipboard contents (this seems so obvious!) FWIW Photopea has this; you just press Ctrl+V on the landing page and a new image is created, ready to edit, no panels, confirmations, or additional keystrokes. Thanks!

It's becoming difficult to work with generative fill. It sees a woman's leg, it flags it. Today I was working on my own image that I was gonna upload as avatar, I was cleaning up my collar,  when it flagged my neck. Write a script for AI to have a look at what it's flagging. It's exasperating. Your brute force restrictions is making this AI tool disappointing.

There should be a direct instant feedback section in Photoshop. that's hard to miss. a button to capture screenshot of context that accompanies the response or comment. 

I'd be shocked if this weren't already in the works, but this would be an incredible time saver for everyone. I'd like to be able to type in "Cars" then have Ai automatically mask everything in the photo that it finds to be a car. "Windows" in photo of a room with windows and it masks out all of the windows. "Windows and curtains" do the same but also include the curtains. We could create action buttons for selecting things that we frequently do on a day-to-day basis. I'm a real estate photographer so this would be one of the best things ever created since the addition of ai generative fill. Background - I have multiple monitors, one of these is a display tablet. Much of my work, using a mouse is best, but sometimes the tablet is best so I often bring photoshop over to the display tablet and then back to the main monitor depending on what I'm doing My request is: Allow us to pin dialogue Boxes to the main Photoshop window's location, instead of where it was last moved to. When I work a long time on the tablet, and then move to the main monitor, I often find myself searching around for selection/feather/filter dialogue boxes

why is it still so clunky to crop an image to remove all transparent pixels in ps, when lightroom has a checkbox.   The crop too snaps to the image bounds which is fine most of the time, but when you have a 3 or 4 pixels of transparency - and not in a perfect rectangle (so you cant use the trim or crop command), its hopeless.I just cludged an action to do it, but i'm guessing it could be done in about 10 lines of code as a script

Adobe, have you lost your mind? Why doesn't Photoshop offer the AVIF format (outside the Camera Raw plug-in) ? The AVIF format is currently the best format for the web, and Photoshop, the leader in photo processing, doesn't offer it, which is shameful on your part. I think I'm going to unsubscribe and switch to GIMP, which is way ahead of you. You should be ashamed of yourself for being so behind the times on this issue. 

Working on image editing in PS the ability to identify an object through linking to Google Lens search. As an example you have a picture of a flower and you want to know the name of the flower. You can export then load the image in Google Lens. However, you have to save as a JPG first. Create a link to quickly id the object. 

I'm an illustrator and have been getting a workflow with Photoshop for Ipad and ios. I have tried both Fresco and Photoshop, and it is interesting that they both have features and abilities I like, but one doesn't have it all! In general, Photoshop for ios seems to suit my needs better. But there are a few features I'd like to suggest. Gradient: Foreground Color to Transparent - There's no foreground color to transparent option for gradients. This is something I use all the time. There is a workaround where you can flood a layer with color, then apply a layer mask and do black to white gradients to mimic it, but being able to have a foreground to transparent gradient would improve my workflow so much!Brush Size Cursor - This feature is present in Desktop Photoshop and can be toggled on in Fresco, but Ios photoshop has no way to see the maximum brush size. As someone who draws with pen pressure quite a bit, I like seeing how far the brush can go so I can get crispy edges if I reall

The Content aware tracing tool need an "Offset Path" function like Illustrator. Often times a clipping path need to be offset inside the outer edge of an image, to eliminate leaks and to provide image bleed for trapping functions in other software programs.  Thanks

I love that you added functionality to remove distractions such as wires and people.  I would love if you could add cars to that.  i photograph many cityscapes and those darn cars are always in the way.  Thank you for all you do. 

What i'm really missing seems to be a relatively easy feature if yoy export layers to files it would be nice to be able to add the artboardname after the prefix name but before layer name now it just adds a number seems very silly   

I recently discovered what may appear to be an oversight and/or dumb down within Adobe Creative Cloud apps. The vast majority of my post editing is done in LrC. I was not even aware of the differences between LrC, PS, and ACR. I really like the way LrC scale uses the Kelvin scale allowing the user to better understand the image color temperature. LrC provides a better analogy in comparing the image to real world K temps. Not sure what the scales represent in either PS or ACR. Would like to see these apps be set to mirror LrC. This way regardless of the app you are working in and would like to set the temp to ~5600k be the same.  

Could you add icons in the Navigator panel for different window arrangements? We often need to quickly organize open files on the screen, and doing it manually through the menu isn't as practical.Besides that, a one-click option to create a new window from the current image and automatically arrange both—one at "Fit to Screen" and the other at 100%—would be extremely useful. This is a fundamental setup for high-level retouching.

Ich verstehe nicht, warum sich in Photoshop aus TIFF-Dateien mit Transparenz (Beispiel: freigestellte Produktbilder) nicht in einem Schritt (z.B. Speichern unter) WebP-Dateien erstellen lassen. Über den Umweg TIFF -> PSD -> WebP funktioniert das.  Dieses Feature sollte dringend nachgereicht werden, da WebP ja immer mehr zum neuen Standard bei Webbildern zu werden scheint. 

It would be great to add 'pile carpet' and 'flatweave/kilim/tapestry' textures... we often have design renderings but they lack texture. Being able to this kind of texture would be fantastic!

NEURAL FILTERS are not that great.  They are certainly not what they are being touted about at present and need VAST improvement to be useful for serious professional retouching.   So my question is how long will be be before these filters really work on a profesisonal level?   My main issue is with the "SMART PORTRAIT" filter Here is an unretouched picture before filters are replied:  FIRST IMPROVEMENT REQUEST: The blue outline box is not positionable.  With many pictures, parts of the face are outside of the box, so, for instance, if skin smooting is applied, the person's necl may be outside the blue box and the filter will not apply.  The person's face may be smoothed, but the neck will be wrinkled.     The blue box should be poistionable and sizeable.   @ 2ND IMPROVEMENT REQUEST: Here is an image for which the FACIAL AGE" filter is applied with only a +5 point correction: As you can see, most of the change is to the hair, and very

I photograph a lot of fashion photography and sometimes there are a lot of skin showing (no private parts at all, I repeat: no private parts. Nor anything that would be considered NSFW, really clean beautiful art photography), and the generative expand does not allow me to expand the photo (whenever I need more space for example). I don't consider this normal as it is not at all what I'm asking PS to do: all I'm asking for is to generate more pixels so my image would be better croppped.Could you guys improve how your IA works, so we could finally have a product that allow us to work in peace?

First of all, Thank you for your efforts to add features that help us. I hope that if there is a feature that can give the AI an image to put in a specific place in another image that could be amazing with some options to tweak between it and also, enable all the features through the live co-editing will be unique than other apps. Also, when placing a photo, why can't we add an option for it to make it? with curves or unique shapes without making a clipping mask.  Thank You, Bishoy 

I know that there is a pixel limit to the generative fill, I just wish that there was a warning given in the generative fill dialogue box whenever that limit was exceeded.  It's especially important if I'm using some of the more organic selection tools and not just a rectangle or square.You know, something that would let me know that I was about to generate a blurry mess and not a quality fix.

I would like to be able to apply an outside stroke with square corners to any layer in Photoshop. The layer styles stroke tool always rounds the corners when setting the stroke to outside. I don't want the stroke inside because it covers up part of the layer. I know this can be done in the vector shape stroke tool, but I would like this same functionality to be available in the layer styles stroke tool panel. Or better yet, one tool to apply any kind of stroke to any layer would be great. I'd be happy with the same functionality in the existing tools, though. Thanks!
