Feature Requests

Hi there. I edit all the time on Premiere Pro, and I'm writing to you to ask if in a future update, you can add  "Add" like the one YouTube uses on their videos... Exp: 1x, 1,25x, 1.5x, etc. That is a very useful editing tool other apps have except Premiere Pro. Now a days most Apps, even Cellphones apps have that feature. I hope this idea help me and others. Thanks,Adrian

I can't stand that Export is a workspace. This workspace panel, is not moveable to the top of other windows. How does everyone work like this? Are you moving windows out of your way? The Export window is the home window, which is permanently stuck at the bottom of the window stack. How do you work this way? I loved clicking Export and having a dialog box popping up in front of everything else. Why did it change? It's rediculously bad to my workflow. I have retreated back to V 22.3 just to have this feature. What else can I do to have the Export Function Window on the top?I can't work like this, stop doing it for us - you're doing it TO us!

Adobe is incredible with thousands of features, but this is ridiculous! Adobe please fix this! This should be the default. How often would someone not want the effect to be synced?

I have sony cameras and they added the function of adding markers into the clips, but I just can't get to see them on Premiere, not even on the timeline panel or the clip itself.This addition to premiere WOULD REALLY speed up my workflow.

Hello, I just found out that you cant automatically save your projects to creative cloud.Don't get me wrong, you can autosave your projects but I think it would be really smart if your project had also a way to automatically backup to the cloud when you save it.Please make this happend 🙂

We take time to color label different speakers in every edit with multiple stakeholders because it's an incredibly easy way to zoom out and see the flow/pace/involvement of different speakers. We often trancribe a sequence called ALL INTERVIEWS so we can quickly search for content via text and if the speakers were automatically colored then those colors would carry forward into shorter edits making it really easy to shuffle speakers around as we build conversations.

it woukd be nice if a captions track is present that when exporting premiere and or AME prompted whether you want to include captions . it's easy to forget to go to the captions tab to include them on export.

Can you make premiere pro available on Ipad?

Can you guys work on getting the clip label in the icon view and not just in the Freeform and List view? I label my clips on the frame rate, interviews and other helpful ways to help my edit and when i cant see the info all the time, its a little slower on the edit.  Just a thought.  Thanks! Tim.

I am entering metadata into premiere right now and would love for there to be a link between the "Take Number" field that exists in the XMP file metadata and the "Take Number" field that I added to the Clip metadata. Because I added the "Take Number" field to the Clip metadata, there is no option to link the two fields together. It might be a strech, but is there a way to create a link between the "Take Number" field that I created in the Clip metadata and the "Take Number" field that already exists in the XMP file metadata? 

When an export completes, a little corner display shows up (redacted for NDA) It would be great that when you clicked on it that it opened the folder where the file was exported to so you can QC it quickly. That or when you click on the event viewer item, it has an option to "open file" or "open folder"        

Locked tracks are still copying/pasting even after trashing preferences, as well as uninstalling/reinstalling Premiere. It has become a huge thorn in my workflow.

Hey guys i'm really enjoying the latest update. I actually found a service that was doing this outside of Adobe and so I'm glad that you brought in the feature where you can create a text from a video and then edit the video from transcript. It's beautiful! the only thing I would suggest on the next update is to add in a feature where once it's identified pauses you can eliminate the pauses This button should always be active because new pauses can be created while you're editing the script. Just an idea hope to see it on the next update

Hi,As there already is Swedish, Norwegian and Danish language support for speech to text, can we please get Finnish auto-transcribe too?

I think this is a simple request : add an option to delete current transcription to this menu here.Currently you can only re-transcribe it.   

Seriously please bring back Legacy Titles, I've tried using Source Graphic and I can;t do half of what I could do with Legacy Titles.. I hate Source Graphic so much.

Hello Everyone,I am editing videos for stock footages. I collect the shots I took and then put them on the timeline, I export them after editing, but I have to export them one by one, it's a waste of time. If the videos in the entire timeline were automatically named and exported with one click, as in the Davinci program (individual clips), it will be easier for me and those who do stock video work, and they will not think about switching to Davinci. I want a one-click solution, please don't be tired to say other long-distance solutions. Thank you

When the display pauses option is on in the beta of premier pro 2023 for text based editing, all it does is not show the pauses, it would be great if there would be an option for it to automatically not include the pauses on insert or overwrite as well when display pauses is turned off This would be useful because we wouldn't need to remove all the silences beforehand or use a third-party app, it would just not be included which a lot of editors need. This would make premier pro 10 times more useful and this is an opportunity to include silence removing since it has yet to be added to premiere pro for years

One thing I find still clumsy at Premiere is relinking media. Sometimes criteria is so obvious, and the process is still so mechanic. I dont say it doesnt have to be a carefull process, it is, but what about Premiere suggesting in a more clever way what to reconnect?

You know what would be nice... a keyboard shortcut that could apply ease out/in to a pair of nodes in Effect Controls automatically, including by KB shortcut. Operatiion1. Create a pair of keyframes that move  the image, say for Scale and Position.  One for start and one for stop on the Position and Scale Effect Control timeline.2. Select all 4 nodes 3. Right click and choose "Auto Ease" (new function) or tap a keyboard shortcut4. It applies ease out to the first node, and ease in on the 2nd node.OR if there are only two sets of nodes and they're aliglned, Auto Ease would apply without having to select them. Or how about this idea:  Putting a checkbox option in the Effect Controls  panel so it would apply Auto Ease whenever it saw a pair of nodes that started and stopped a move. Get your AI engine cranked up. That should be easy. 

We can only rename clips one by one. It would be AMAZING to be able to to it in batch.That's it.Thanks.

For doing home movie film transfers we need sequence settings that offer variable framerates, or the silent film framerates of 16fps (16mm, Regular 8mm silent)  or 18fps (Super 8).

Hi Adobe Development Team and Community, I am not sure if this already exists and/or works differently in Adobe's ecosystem. Is it possible to mount Adobe's cloud storage space as a file-system in user space? Similar to what Google Drive Desktop app offers. This is so that for the Adobe CC Apps, user can configure the preferences to point the project data, input and output data paths to the file-system in user-space which will be Adobe's Cloud storage. Which can automatically continue to sync in the background. And hence there's no active effort needed to save or load data from the Adobe Cloud storage. Looking forward to your thoughts and if this is already possible please let me know how so that I can set it up for my usage. Thanks,Bhavik
