If I need to apply a modification to all the istances of the same source clip on a timeline, currently I do the following:1.Apply the modification I require to one istance2. Copy the attributes of that istance3.label that clip, than CTRL+F, select that label, FIND ALL4. Paste the attributes to all clips selectedI’d be nice if the selection of all istances of the same source clip could be easier, such as via a right-click menu item?
I have an issue where my caption “clips” don’t align with the video clips in my sequence. I have to go through and manually adjust each one.» Video of issue: 👉 https://somup.com/cOn1XIWQDmI would be useful to have an option to match up when creating.

How can hide this label? it annoys me when I have to display the waveform at the beginning (timeline). Attention I don't want to hide the name of the audio resource, but the label that indicates the audio channel or L R (Can.1, Can.2, L R) see image:Tanks for reply.
Premiere Pro nests (as well as AE comps) have a very big drawback when you have to create lots of them - they are not unique on the timeline. Usually when you need to create a clip with an effect or some kind of animation, like by position or scale, but you don’t want to fiddle with the different sizes of the media, you just make a nest, add all the effects and animations to it (on the “outside level”) and then just change the inner media. The problem with that is that Premiere Pro treats every nest on your timeline as a copy of the one that is automatically created in the project bin, so if you copy one nest 3 times and change the inner media in one of them it will change in the rest to. To solve this problem you have to manually duplicate the nest in the project bin and then place it to the timeline as a copy. This works in smaller projects but when you have tens and hundreds of replaceable nests like this you may go mad and get lost in your project.Make Unique Nest featureWhat I sug
I reported this a long while ago (probably when the “new” universally loathed export tab thing was first introduced...I guess we’ve just got used to the unnecessary multiple clicks it now takes to do basic stuff we took for granted in the good old days), but it’s still not been fixed, so here we go again:Steps to reproduce:Send something to export. Make the Settings column of the Export page wider. Result: …The export file path remains very unhelpfully squishedExpected:Full file path should be displayed if there’s enough space (which there is). While editing, there are steps when I don't need to see some tracks but still need them running. It would be great if I can hide the tracks I'm not using right now like after effects.I could make multiple tracks and move them up(video) or down(audio) and make the timeline small, but if the project is too long, I feel it's kind of risky. It would be great if there is a hide icon right next to the 'toggle track output' icon ps. My account isn't subscribed, but I work with my company's account. I thought it wouldn't be appropriate to write things with my companies account. plz don't think I'm a guy who grumbles without buying things 🥺
Premiere Pro's timeline gets really cluttered with scrollbars when you have a lot of video or audio tracks, which is a pain for big projects. I think it would be a game-changer if they implemented a timeline style like Media Composer's. In Avid, the window expands to fit the tracks without forcing a scrollbar, keeping everything in one view. We should obviously still be able to zoom and resize track heights, but the adaptive window would be much better.
When pasting attributes there needs to be an iption to paste the actual keyframes that are copied. In my case I wanted a little 6 frame scale animation at the start of each clip. Actually achieving this is more work than it should be because it stretches the animation out based on clip length, so if the clip is twice as long the keyframes span 12 frames instead of 6. It's annoying having to keep making presets
Would be nice if we could adjust the “safe zones” in the program monitor. Right now it's just for tv zones. But we all know social media is way bigger. Please make the safe zones adjustable …. for different platforms like instagram reel/ post , YouTube etc...
In 2026, when you mouse over clips in the timeline, there’s cross dissolve boxes on the clip on booth sides.Nice feature, to turn that off. Should be easy.
Since many third-party AI captioning and transcription tools currently outperform Premiere Pro’s built-in captions, I would greatly appreciate either a significant improvement to the quality and accuracy of captions and subtitles within Premiere Pro, or native integration with leading third-party captioning tools (such as Captions).Currently, having to export a video just to add captions in a separate application is inconvenient and disrupts the editing workflow. Improving or expanding captioning capabilities directly within Premiere Pro would save time and greatly enhance usability.
I have been trying to figure out how to change the color of the menu background (Please see image)I have set my Windows 10 to dark theme, and I can't find what option to change it. Is it through Windows or is it within Premiere Pro?Thank you in advance. This section in particular: Title edited by Mod
In the new mask tools I found a problem for me, when I want to add multiple masks in batch.Every time a mask is added, the tool will automatically change to the selection tool.It would be great to have an option to change this behavior and keep the mask tool active. Why would that be great? When I have multiple areas to blur or highlight or whatever, it’s not very efficient that the tool switches automatically. This behavior could be a quality of life feature but it shouldn’t be default in my opinion. Also no other tool behaves like this, adding to the confusion when using it for the first time.
Transcription panel is needlessly tricky to work with
Is no one else significantly disappointed in Premiere's sync feature? I never have any success with multicam sequences nor is it the workflow i prefer, and having to put each clip on its own track to use the sync feature, regardless of being the same source is utterly tedious and unnecessary. The Sync tools in premiere are unreliable and out dated. Pluraleyes frequently steps up to sync things that premiere misses, and now the pluraleyes plugin no longer works in premiere. If syncing footage (a very very basic staple of creating pro video) isnt addressed very soon i will be forced to move to a competitor software that does have modern syncing tools. TLDR: Fix the awful outdated sync tool. its kind of important. pluraleyes is 100% more accurate. it is possible.
To the Adobe Product Team,As a loyal Creative Cloud subscriber with a background in Photoshop, I am writing to share my feedback regarding the user experience in your video editing software, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects. In today's content landscape, speed is just as valuable as quality. While I appreciate Adobe's integration of AI features, I feel there is a significant gap when it comes to simplifying basic, repetitive tasks. As the industry leader, the expectation is that your tools should set the standard for efficiency. However, the current workflow often feels unnecessarily complex compared to emerging competitors.I would like to highlight a few specific pain points:Workflow Inefficiency: Why do simple tasks—such as auto-generating captions or removing silence/dead air—still require manual effort or third-party plugins? These features should be native, intuitive, and seamless.Complexity vs. Speed: While professionals need granular control, there is a distinct l
Hopefully this is now in the correct forum… As it stands the edit behaviour of the parametric EQ effect (and to my knowledge all audio effects within audio track mixer) is not as I’d expect - this could potentially be a bug unless intentional for whatever reason? It sometimes appears to only register as an edit in the activity log once playback to paused for instance.Ideally each edit made, specifically on a parametric EQ for a track should be logged, giving the user the ability to undo and redo each edit.
Describe your question:how do i post a request for a new feature for Adobe Premiere? I can get to the forum, but I do not see any way to post. Thank you
The Sequence Index is great for finding missing/offline effects but at a glance it seems that it missed the majority of the clips i am looking for. It lists only legacy filters such as Gaussian Blur (Legacy) in the Effects column but for offline filters such as Filter Offline (RGB Curves) the Effcts column is blank. It finds the clips, with the orange label color on the attached image, and for me that already knows that those clips are the ones i am looking for it is easy. If i don´t know i would probably miss that all clips have the Filter Offline (RGB Curves) on them, the clips i am actually are looking for. In Search Index Options i have filtered Effects Missing since i am looking for missing effects and offline effects such as RGB Curves in old projects. Please inklude Offline Filters as well in the Effect column. :)
This one is kind of related to this feature request: But I miss this feature not only for clips but entirely and especially for timelines. It would be a great additional quality of life feature that reduces multiple steps to only one and make Premiere more keyboard friendly. At the moment it looks like this:I add a marker I split the marker I drag drop the marker end point to the desired position (or set the timecode in the marker popup window)Splitting the marker is only possible by either mouse (alt+click) or the marker popup window where you can set the duration.A command that would take io/out markers as an orientation would be only one step. The other way around would be useful for getting a range you want to export without the need to:Navigate to the range marker start point Set in marker Navigate to the range marker’s end point (of course that can only be done with mouse if you want it to snap to the exact point as the “go to next marker” command ignores the end points of range m
When in the Frame Mode for a shape masks add a way to show that a mask is keyframed on the current frame. eg by turning the mask outline and/or the transformbox red, and make it clearer red for keyframed frames and less red for non-keyframed frames (like how its done in AE) . Also add a buttons to jump between keyframes for the current mask. This would make it more obvious for users figuring out how the Clip/Frame Mode works and it will be faster to modify already set keyframes so you dont accidentally place keyframes too close to each other. This is also kinda how it works in Resolve.see attached mockup:
Please add a Find and Replace feature that allows us to easily find & replace within clip, bin, and sequence names. As an Assistant Editor, I'm constantly needing to do minor batch renaming to large numbers of clips and sequences in Premiere. Avid recently added this feature and it has been a godsend. I do not want to rename the original files in Finder, so Bridge is not an option.
Hi! I work with music audio stems daily (all with the same timecodes and length) and would love a way to easily stack them each on their own audio track instead of having to go through each stem one by one to place them where they need to be. Kind of like creating a multi cam clip but without nesting the tracks. Thanks!
Hi, community. Now is 2025. Nvidia has launched their 5000 videocards which boast the support for the 4:2:2 pro-grade color format, multiview-HEVC (MV-HEVC) for 3D and virtual reality (VR) video, and the new AV1 Ultra High Quality mode. They speak about 8 (EIGHT!) 4K streams in 60 FPS per decoder. In addition to that "the old" RTXs have long been able to decode a lot of other codecs flavours:Intel iGPUs have had even a wider range of codecs support:And there is Premiere Pro with all these BEAUTIFUL red crosses, left of the majority of codecs support. In 2025. I don't know whether it's some kind of conspiracy, coding difficulty or license issues, but having so few codecs support in a professional software like Premiere Pro in 2025 is unacceptable. Especially with the counter party impersonated by the BlackMagic with their software starting with a D, that long ago added more codecs support than Premiere Pro has even now. So, Adobe, please add the i(GPU) acceleration for oth
