Hi Adobe Team,To deliver great video products it would be very handy to get a audio phase correlation meter directly at the audio meters next to the sequence.Checking the phase correlation is mendatory and right now in premiere pro several clicks are required to display it. Another solution would be to add hardware but we would like to get rid of hardware and also not having additional clicks in the software 😉How this could look like: (RTW PPM 1206D)Details from RTW regarding the phase correlation meter:https://www.rtw.com/en/blog/focus-the-multicorrelator.htmlPhase CorrelationLet's start by understanding the term phase correlation and how we typically show it in our meters.Mostly, phase correlation is used to determine the mono compatibility of a stereo signal, but depending on where you use it, it can also reveal other things, such as bad microphone placement. The term phase correlation refers to the phase relationship between two sources, and with a phase correlation meter, y
Hi adobe, Firstly, the auto transcribe and then convert to captions feature in Premiere is absolutely brilliant. It's completely changed my workflow, is intuitive, and fast. I love that it's been brough into the package. However, on checking the srt from an auto generated sets of captions I noticed that Premiere had added in a swear word that wasnt said in the audio. I appreciate it's a complicated system and that it's just trying to find the best match to sometimes complex, diverse audio but this could have been terrible if missed. I obveously always check the auto generated transcript/captions but what would be great is if the system had a filter that flagged any inserted swear words, or negative words that the user could define before the system started transcribing. There's obveously the potentilal for a swear word to be included in an edit but in this case the software misinterpreted an innocent word for an innapropriate one and a failsafe filter would be a ni
The most useful thing you could do for me right now is to enable Welsh as a target language in the Translate Captions feature. Google Translate aready fully supports the language, so hopefully it's an easy win! 🏴
I would love for Premiere to have a ripple cut. It has a ripple delete and a ripple paste, but it does not have a ripple cut. Right now I have to click a clip, press command+C to copy it, press shift+delete to ripple delete it and then press shift+v to ripple paste it somewhere else. I would just like to press shift+x to ripple cut it and copy to my clipboard and the shift+v to ripple paste it elsewhere. Final Cut 7 had a ripple cut and I used it all the time. It's been 10 years now and Premiere still doesnt have a ripple cut.
I've been using Premiere for years. I know the Command+R opens the clip speed/duration. And yet, even after what's going on 15 years of use I still think Command+R should render the sequence. Might be something to think about- I can't be the only person who does it.
Hello, Premiere Pro doesn't seem to be very convenient to use for an industry standard editing sofware. When trying to select a feature, item or pane, unexpected results occur all day long. For example, when in the Effects Controls pane, and trying to scroll down to automate an effect, the Font slider starts moving and changes the font size even though the handle of the slider wasn't selected. With Premiere Pro currenlty, you never know what pane, feature and clip or text is selected, or the items and frames have to be clicked several times back and forth to figure out a simple task. Kindly improve the usability of Premiere Pro for the average user without getting too smart with the features!
Hi - I'm working in PP2024 Productions, and I noticed that the option to transcribe a sequence disappears if the sequence isn't in the same Project as the source clips, even though they are all in the same Production. Is there any way to get around this? Thanks
I felt the need to get this out of my system. And I want to hear if others experience the same things. Am I just going mad? I am fluent in both Premiere and Avid and i've been using both for around 15 years. At the moment I'm editing a feature length (around 2-2,5 hours) film. It's the first time I'm editing a feature in premiere (all of my previous features I've edited in Avid). And here are my take aways: It doesn't work. I feel confident premiere is NOT made to work for theese kinds of projects without big workarounds to just run. Let me alaborate. The last film i did in Avid i used a Mac mini M1 with 16gb of ram. Sure there where times I wished I have had a faster and better machine, but it worked. For my current project I had to upgrade to the latest Mac studio M4 Max because premiere where so laggy. But even now, every edit i make, every trim in my timeline - heck even when I just scroll on the timeline - there is lag. It got even worse with t
Editing transcripts is an amazingly useful feature. A language model should be able to identify bad takes, where the speaker stumbles and/or end mid sentence. When the speaker repeats him/her self it can keep the last take. This would also speed up voice over editing.
Hello, I have recently begun compiling sequences within Premiere Pro 23 that need to use uncompressed RAW images, in DNG format. These are exported from DxO PhotoLab, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Bridge, using Camera Raw, as part of my workflow. Thus, these DNG images are compatible with other Adobe image processing software, and comply with the Adobe DNG specification, but are not supported for import by Premiere Pro. Upon importing a DNG file to a Premiere Pro bin, a message box appears stating that "The Importer Reported a Generic Error", which is not only a vague message but is inconsistent with other Adobe video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Elements 2020, which handles the same DNG files correctly. Another standardized image format for lossless shots is TIFF, which is imported correctly by Premiere Pro 23, but not Premiere Elements 2020. At the moment, to use my RAW source images in Premiere, I will need to re-export them (900+ files that comply with Adobe's own spe
Is there a way to select/deselect all when copying/pasting attributes between clips? It's so time consuming having to manually deselect the attributes I don't want copied over and would be sorted so easily if there was a select/deselct all at the top of the pop up box. Thanks
It’s 2025 and we’re still forced to adjust audio fades one at a time. We need the ability to select multiple fades or dissolves and change their durations in bulk—yesterday. The current workflow wastes hours as editors slog through every single track, and the new audio-fade UI has made things even worse. Before the update, copy-and-paste preserved both fade type and duration; now it copies only the type, which is maddening. This isn’t a nice-to-have—it’s a glaring productivity hit that costs real time and money. Fix it.
Whe using the Slip Tool, it's nice that we can see the frame at the in- and out points. But please ad a third frame - the frame at the CTI! This will editing to music or other rhytmic audio so much easier.
I am currently the editor for my and my friends YouTube channels. I do my best to make the content able to be monetized, but they make it hard sometimes. This is more so due to their lack of filter with the F bomb. So, idea! Wouldn't it be cool if adobe had built in AI detection in premiere to auto detect curse words in the transcript and give you the option to automatically mute that section and insert a different audio clip onto another track? This way I could have my preset duck sound or bleep out audio and just auto set it each time there's a curse word.
Hello! Looking at the latest updates and features that appear in Premiere Pro, I don't understand - have all the useful and interesting features and functionality been added and implemented? Why are developers wasting time on - “generative video extension” for up to 5 seconds?! If you've run out of ideas, here are a few to implement!- Render and Replace for Nested Clips- Add Cut (Add Edit) for all Markers on Timeline by one click/shortcut- Smart selection like in Final Cut 11 - for color correction, or even better, to do Rotoscoping in Premiere Pro! Like the Keyper plugin from fxfactory does, buy it from them and make it a built-in feature!- Mask tracking often works just terribly and can just freeze; that's where AI can come in!- WARP STABILIZER - this is where AI is really needed to make it work like “magic” and stabilize your video perfectly!- Flicker Free - even Davinci has it! Why not take the guys from Digital Anarchy and their plugin as a basis and make it a built-in fe
I generally work on a pretty small laptop screen so I finally changed my display settings on my MacBook to view slightly larger text so I would be squinting less and have less overall eye strain. In many of my other programs this isn't an issue, however when using Adobe systems I immediately noticed that many windows cannot cope with this change and the size change results in many items being cut off partially. In most applications this is annoying but ultimately fine, as I can still click the edge of many of my most used features, but I recently began using Premiere Pro and it's just plain frustrating. I haven't been able to find a solution other than painstakingly reconfiguring my entire workspace (which would not fix it in all cases) so I'm assuming this is an accessibility issue but please let me know if there is something I missed! Screenshots attached.
Magnetic Mask For Premiere Pro ✨ 🙌
Improvement for track sequencing:-Automate to Sequence currently pastes the files always on the first track, that then have to be manually moved up to the correct track. It would be more convenient to paste them directly to a selected track.-Moving clips up to another track with Option+Arrow could be improved, as it currently deletes the clips in between below the final track, which apparently isn't a valuable use case. Thanks!
Hello, there are some cumbersome navigation between which item and pane is active and in focus ready for key commands.Especially between the Program and Sequencer panes (timeline). For example, when selecting an image in the program pane for moving/nugding requires first selecting the program picture frame, then selecting the clip from the sequencer, then clicking the image, then clicking the program window again... Could you make ti easier to select a clip or an image/text and highlighted for editing, thanks!
Sequencer pane (yes, it's a sequencer) could have an option to automatically move the Playhead to the start of the Selected Clip for playing back the section while editing. For reference, Avid Pro Tools has figured out the optimal sequencer functionality decades ago and works beautifully as expected, so easy to just select items, edit them and play back the section. Thanks!
ENGLISH:It would be very useful to allow selecting multiple clips (such as PNGs, text layers, or videos) in the timeline and adding keyframes (scale, position, rotation, etc.) to all of them at once directly from the Effect Controls panel.Right now, Premiere Pro only allows editing one clip at a time in Effect Controls, which is limiting — especially for animation workflows. In CapCut, this is already possible: you can select multiple clips and animate them in sync with keyframes (scale, zoom, movement, etc.) without nesting or combining them, and without any loss of quality.Being able to do this in Premiere would make animation workflows faster, easier, and more precise — especially when using high-quality PNGs, where nesting often causes a visible drop in resolution when zooming.SPANISH:Sería muy útil poder seleccionar varios clips (como PNGs, textos o vídeos) en la línea de tiempo y añadir fotogramas clave (de escala, posición, rotación, etc.) a todos al mismo tiempo desde el panel d
When using "Join Through Edit" or even the "Join All Through Edits"-Shortcut Premiere should warn when the clips have diffrent attributes. I often cuts music-clips and edits the clip-volume (instead of using keyframes) when e.g. voice over appears. When using the "Join Through Edit"-command Premiere will set all attributes as used in the first clip.May a dialog-box "Join Through Edit will delete clip attributes" is helpful when the clips have diffrent attributes and will be erased by using "Join Through Edit"-Command.
Currently, mask tracking in Premiere Pro processes every frame by default, which is great for precision but slow and unnecessary for many use cases. It would be very useful to have an option to track masks every n frames (e.g., every 5 or 10 frames) to speed up the tracking process and reduce CPU usage, especially for scenes with slow movement.Similar functionality exists in other tools (such as Mocha AE), and bringing this to Premiere Pro would greatly enhance workflow flexibility and usability for video editors.
Let Replace work for a selected Gap too. In Premiere, filling a gap with a clip is not very intuitive.Since we are able to select gaps like those were clips (e.g. to tipple delete 'm), it would be logical to let the Replace function work for a slected gap, just like it were a clip.
