It would be pretty usefull to have also the SAT vs LUM curve in the curves lumetri panel to be able to achive a colour density
This is for all forums (assuming they all share the same search engine); this certainly applies to Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder and Photoshop. Please please please can we have a proper search function in the online Help section as if searching a PDF. Below is an example from the After Effects section; I type "motion blur" (with or without speech marks) and the search brings up results containing both "blur" and "motion" and only one with "motion blur" (not the one I want).I'd expect the company that makes Acrobat to be able to do this.
I really need Power bins (Resolve) or Favorites Bins (avid) in Premier Pro.It is a hastle to have to import in ever project I open the same things over and over again. One bin that has all the music and another having all the Grfx ellements of a programme strans is absolutely needed.
Premiere Pro Timeline Track Highlight? When my sequence timeline begins to fill with multiple tracks of clips (video and audio) and I want to, for example, toggle the track output or mute the audio, it's a bit challenging to find what track the clip is on, when there are maybe 12 tracks and they're at the minimum height. Wondering if Adobe can pop a track highlight color or frame on the affected timeline track nomenclature (left of the timeline) when a clip on said track is selected? Attached graphic is an example.
If I am interpreting this correctly, why are the pauses in text-based editing measured in seconds and percentages? It is also very inaccurate. Sometimes, a pause of "0.8s" in the text window is 16 frames/25fps in the timeline window. What is the logic here? Also, the AI might then decide to detect that pause on a good day, but not always. Then it will decide that the audible human speech ends at -60 to 80DB is not where to make the cut, but rather whole vowel parts of words. The accuarcy of making a cut automatically needs to be much more accurate. What I see is very inaccurate. Only a cut detects a pause there. Now, the pause length is always measured manually from the timeline. In our modern age, filling in that number does not need a separate calculation from frames in a second to percentages. Even if the increment is too small for the frame,
The new way the wheel works hinders work.
Thank you for the recent improvements in Premiere Pro! I use the text edit feature constantly. It would be great to have a feature that can search footage for different visual elements. For example if I typed in 'flower' it would find all footage events with a flower in it. It would make searching for Broll way more efficient. This is a feature that photo apps have had for a few years, and it would be so useful to implement it in Premiere Pro where some projects have hours of footage to edit.
**Subject: Auto Color Detection Issue in After Effects Dynamic Link**Hello everyone,I've encountered a problem with the auto color detection feature when using Dynamic Link between Premiere Pro and After Effects. It appears that auto color detection does not work cross-platform when you bring a clip into After Effects. This issue has been quite frustrating as it disrupts my workflow, especially when dealing with projects that require consistent color grading across both programs. Here are the steps I followed:1. Applied auto color detection to a clip in Premiere Pro.2. Used Dynamic Link to bring the clip into After Effects for further editing.3. Noticed that the auto color detection settings did not carry over into After Effects.Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, have you found any workarounds or solutions? We would greatly appreciate any tips or insights.Additionally, I would like to request that Adobe consider adding the auto color detection feature directly into After Eff
It would be nice to have the option to change UI colours or have standard themes to choose from..
Is there an update to this? Currently. when a new nested sequence is created it appears in my main project Bin but I'd like it to set it to a specific bin so it's easier to keep my project more organized. Is there a way to set newly created nested sequences to generate into a specific bin? Thanks in advance.
Make the timeline look like it did in 24.3 and prior. Please. Maybe call it "basic" or something. I have been using Abode Premiere since 2012 and I've always appreciated how simple the timeline is in terms of appearance and fuctionality. While I appreciate the new sound and A.I. updates (and more to come I"m sure) I absolutely find the new timeline appearance obnixious beyond belief. The colors are annoying. The "classic" look doesn't look right either. I know I can change them, but why can't we get a default mode that truly looks like it did up to 24.3? The transisitions being transparent on the clip - WHY? Yes, all caps because visibiity is critical. I loved the bold tan transitions because I could see at a glance that they were there, and they were easy to adjust. I'm sure there are ways to alter the look but it's not obvious. I shouldn't have to work hard to revert to a less cluttered appearance. I reverted to 24.3 this morning but how long until i
Captions are past the toddler stage. Official request to add the captions Track object via scripting. Sequence.captionTracks Why? This would help extensions automate more of the captions & graphics workflow, and skip the roundtripping of export captions -> SRT/CSV/text file -> import -> parse.
We film a lot of interviews, and one of the first things we do when we bring footage in is remove all of the lines that aren't our main speaker (e.g. the director talking off-camera). Now that Premiere can separate speakers, it would be great if we could instantly cut out all of the lines from certain speakers.
I wonder what does it take to include a dropdown list of saved metadata settings at the bottom of the project/bin window? I mean Avid has it since their inception, why not Adobe have it? It is so basic but useful; instead of opening the window, choose the one that is saved and click ok! It is so simple to add, but Adobe is too lazy to do it!
When playing back 1:1 square and 9:16 portrait resolutions from a Blackmagic Decklink Playout card, no output is available since it is not a Broadcast format. However. If you in Premiere under: Edit > Playback > Settings choose "scale down", you get a horizontally stretched output, but an output none the less.No monitor that I know off, can de-squeeze these resolutions, so it isn't really that usefull though. Question:Would it be possible for Premiere Mercury Transmit to output non-broadcast formats in pixel-to-pixel centered on a 16:9 raster, so that Playout-cards could be used for SoMe formats? Best regardsJack JohnsenTV2 EastDenmark
i think we need this option in premiere pro somtimes the app makes little bugs makes me i have to restart the app and open it agian to fix the bug this could be handy
The program is great, the only downfall is I can't use google photos for a library. I have thousands of pictures on google photos and I can't use them unless I download them onto my computer. The reason I use the cloud is that I dont have room on my computer.
Why did you delete the properties option from this list? It was effective here and I have been asking about it for years in this list. Please return it to its place.
When I am looking for filler to cut out, I really don't want dead space. Yet when I cut a "Filler", it leaves "[...]" in which I have to cut that out again. I really wish this was more intuitive. I seem to continually have to cut out "[...]" from points where that has been removed. I would love a "CTRL-Backspace" where it cuts any filler around the part that I cut out. Therefore, I have a jump cut that doesn't have a breath, or dead space before the cut. Windows 11 (and Mac OS [I tested both]). Example below
I'm working with a number of multi-cam sequences which have their own captions.I can't re-transcribe them... I need to work with existing captions. I'm editing these sequences down in a master editing sequence, and I can see the captions (when I turn-off video track multi-cam, which is fine). But I can't export them as SRT. I can only do that from each multi-cam sequence where the captions reside. Could Adobe please find a way to allow this captioning data to percolate up to the master editing sequence? This could be a one-time process... not necessarily dynmamic. I can appreciate that it could cause grief if main editing sequence captions were then editable if they were also dynamic (reflecting changes in nested sequences as those changes are made, the way audio and video do... and the way visual captions do) so perhaps a way of approaching this would be to create a "virtual captions track" where all nested sequences captions percoalte up in a read-only (but dynamic) fa
The snapping in Premiere works so great and that might just be muscle memory but compared to how unintuitive it is to snap in Avid, whatever Premiere is doing is just nailing it. However, a common tactic for editors is to add a small 2 frame crossfade between edit points to avoid popping and smooth over edits. That means that the snapping will connect to the frames before and after the edit, along with the frame of the edit itself. Here we see the snapping missing the edit point by one frame: Here we see the snapping where I would like it to go, and it of course does, but I have to massage it to get it to snap there: If you are not paying close enough attention you can end up with clips that are misaligned, like so: In a perfect world there would be a menu option for what snapping will snap to, or just a toggle to say Snapping Enabled but Disable Snapping to Transition heads and tails, something like that. Could be something that is placed in the wrench m
Holy moly, can we please have the old timeline back? This new layout makes it incredibly difficult to see transitions and which track is highlighted. For those of us with old eyes, the old style was much easier to see!!
Do these two things and I will never use Avid Media Composer again - seriously I must say Adobe PP is on a march to greatness but if you make these two changes you will get the entire video editing community to us PP. I am really looking forward to the day I no longer use Avid Media Composer. 1. Trim mode Adobe might be stuck in an earlier time. As an Editor of long form TV and television I must say categorically with no hestitation trim mode in Adobe PP is awful (been using Adobe PP for 10 years) and seems not to evolved since it statrted its life. That is the basic notion of how it works. The two NLEs share the same basic tools, slip , slide etc but Avids ability to lasso multiple cuts and put trim rollers where ever one wants is so monsterously superior to Adobe PP s methodology and FCP for that matter. I have used both Adobe and Avid extensively for years for TV and film and Avid knocks trim mode out of the park. The great and powerful Adobe PP is perfect
DaVinci Resolve has the option to export individual clips from a timeline, that keeps source name and source timecode intact. PLEASE make this function available in Premiere!!!
