it was on its place few days ago - now i see only 404 errorP.S.what about open sourcing FW? or you still  afraid that it may kill Illustrator

Suddenly my Fireworks application stops opening files or doing something with files. With some escapes i can makes the menu items visible and working again, but when clicking on it (eg open file) nothing happens and we first have to esc again.On another computer I have no problems at all. Something is wrong between the directory structure and Fireworks communicating without a (for me) clear cause.Can someone help me out? Im am using CS4 with version 10.0.0.0.95Robert

I have a registered version of Fireworks. However, I need to install it on a different computer. I no longer have access to the email address associated with the purchase of the product. Is the serial number located anywhere in the program itself??? This is the only graphics program I'm decent at using.

I have used FW for years and never run into this problem.  I attempting to use two images to mask or punch out part of on.  When I right click, select combine path and punch I get an internal error.I have deleted itunes, deleted preferences files etc. Any ideas?Thanks

Hi all,I've been using Fireworks on my Mac for quite awhile. When I launched the app today, it gave me a message saying I need to re-activate my software within the next few days. I followed all the prompts and it just said "Unsuccessful." I then followed Adobe's support pages to download Creative Cloud and attempt to download Fireworks from there.Nothing is working, and chat support doesn't seem to know how to help me.Does anyone know how to get Fireworks back? I do all my projects with this application and had no idea I was going to lose it like this.Thanks for any help.

Hi,I need to create a line that would follow perfect circle for its length, 30% of the total circle. The line is thick 15-20 pixels, rounded ends. Fireworks newbie here.   I created an image with a transparent canvas.   I added another layer, a rectangle with green color.  I added another layer, triangle with green color.   I then used the Combine Path-Punch to punch out the triangle.   I can see the transparent canvas.  However, when I see it on my webpage.  The triangle is showing up as a white triangle and not showing the page background.  Any ideas?  TIA

Hey guys, I am new in Fireworks and lately I've struggling a lot with the Master Page option.Please help me out.Now, I have a document with one master layer which has following options on the left.I have made three new layers, but the part with all this info, is locked in each layer !How am I supposed to edit this part.Because I want to highlight -01. Battery on Page 102. Calendar on Page 203. Call on page 3 etc.How to do this ?One way I see is copy pasting the elements on each layer and then manually edit each page and layer.But if I have the master page and all the required info on each page, then I should be able to edit it as well ?Please reply, I am stuck...

This has been the case on the betas of the upcoming OS X Sierra (10.12), but even with the Sierra GM installed, Fireworks CS 6 will not install. I have downloaded Fireworks CS 6 from:Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applicationsand then when I run the installer on Sierra, I get:(and of course, clicking on the "Get Adobe Support Advisor" lets me know that Adobe Support Advisor is discontinued). I've tried to look in the Console for meaningful logs but can't find anything that points to a problem...I reported it to Apple's beta feedback, but never heard anything back. Anyone know of a solution to get it to install on Sierra?thanks,Adam A

Ik zou het ook niet zo erg vinden als ik daar dan iets voor zou moeten betalen. Gebruik momenteel Windows10S. Daar ben ik erg blij mee, maar executive files kan ik helaas niet installeren. I know that fireworks isn't supported anymore by adobe but I would like to know if their is a way to purchase Fireworks without having to have a creative cloud subscription.

Does anyone know how to edit this PNG created with slices? It's very old - the original person who created sent it to me to update. I am trying to change "Resources" to "Books". Also, I don't have the font used so was thinking just use Arial. Thanks so much in advance!

My old laptop just died, so I've reinstalled AC Suite 3, Web Standard (on Windows 10).  It installed fine, and I activated Dreamweaver without issue.  I'm now trying to use Fireworks, but every time I attempt to activate it, it's telling me that I'm not connected to the Web.  You can see from the screenshot below that I am (I hovered over the network icon to show my connection).  Any ideas on why I might be encountering this obstacle, or what I need to do to fix it?  Any insight is greatly appreciated, as I use it kind of often.

I have just graduated my Masters at University.All the design was supposed to be done in the creative cloud on university computers.I HATED it.Nothing is where it should be.Everything took way longer than it should have.So I abandoned the cloud and went back to Fireworks.Apart from using a virtual machine and installing a trial version every thirty days.How can I run this ancient piece of software that nobody wants, that I love because:-I have invested YEARS in learning how to use it.It does EXACTLY what I need, no extra bells, whistles or bloatIt runs on any old computer I have around, with or WITHOUT internet access.

Sunday I lost my hardrive and had to reinstall windows and Adobe Creative Cloud.  After not finding the Fireworks icon I searched your site and discovered Adobe no longer develops the app.  I use Fireworks almost every day.  To not have Fireworks has all but shut my business down and my customers will not wait for me to go through the Photoshop learning curve. I am requesting, (begging actually), to get a download of Fireworks to use while dilligently learn Photoshop. I am getting a consistent crash when attempting to open any EPS formatted file (Mac OS 10.13.3 (17D102)). Everything worked ok under El Capitan, although I had to backsave Illustrator CC EPS files as Illustrator CS6 EPS. Now I get an immediate crash upon attempting to open any EPS file.

Hello,I am using Fireworks CS6.  Earlier this week it started to revert back to original default preferences every time I restart computer, sometimes just when I restart software.  Previously preferences were retained without problem.  This is a significant nuisance as I am a designer using the software all the time and I now have to change preferences at least once every day - especially tedious since some, such as max canvas size,  have to be manually set in preferences file itself.Doers anyone know why this might have suddenly started happening?  I am running Windows 10, fully up to date.Thank you.

Many of the panels in Fireworks CS6 are not working anymore. The align panel is just all white (no buttons/options). The path panel is flickering between states. I'm pretty sure this might be some kind of Flash Player problem, but I've tried a bunch of things and can't get anything to work. I even uninstalled Flash CS6 and Fireworks CS6 and reinstalled. I'm running Windows 10. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I am using Dell XPS 15 and when I open up Fireworks CS6 the menu fonts are super tiny. How do I increase the font size?

I have an old version of Fireworks 4 and recently updated my PC to a Windows 10 operating system, making the Fireworks software inaccessible.  Is there an upgrade path from Fireworks 4 to the latest version of Fireworks?  If not, how can I purchase a Windows 10 compatible version of Fireworks?  Please let me know.
