Fireworks

Hi allAfter 20 Years joining Fireworks as a favourite application, i have despertetly accepted Fireworks is not availble anymore in adobe CC. How can i edit now all my PNG files, which application from Adobe CC.If i open it in Illustrator oder Photoshop, i can not edit the PNGs as all is in 1 layer.Thanks

I have the all apps subscription and it shows Fireworks, but when I try to open it there is an error in the Sign In "For security reasons your access was temporarily disabled"

I downloaded a copy of Macromedia Fireworks 8.It works just as I recall. The trial now wants a serial number but Adobe support say they don't do that. Does anyone know where I can get a serial number or how I can make it work. Happy to pay but want this to work. Thanks

Does somwone know why my old Macromedia Fireworks Serialnumber is not accepted from Adobe? I want to register this product? Thanks....

Dear all, I am a proud Fireworks user and have been for years. Yesterday my Mac asked me to upgrade to the new 10.15 Catalina. But eversince I cannot open Adobe Fireworks anymore. It even has a stop sign over its icon.  I expect it has something to do with the fact that Catalina does not support 32bit apps anymore. Which I did not realise before upgrading.  Is there any workaround?Otherwise I won't be able to alter all my Fireworks PNG files anymore... Any help is appreciated! Kind regards,Tom

I am SO UNHAPPY with Adobe these days and I used to love the company. Now it has ruined its good reputation.Why buy a company like Macromedia that makes great software just to kill it? This is disgusting. Fireworks was fast and user-friendly. Now there is NOTHING that replaces it. Fireworks had just the features that web designers needed to quickly edit photographs and simple graphics for web or any digital use. There was a great batch process, very useful to web designers. It was not cluttered with extremely complicated and unnecessary features that web designers do not need - like Photoshop is. Adobe claimed there was an "overlap" between Photoshop and Fireworks. So, simplfiy Photoshop for photographers and restore Fireworks for web designers. I have learned Photoshop a million times and it is still extraordinarily slow, unbelievably frustrating, clunky and really UNINTUITIVE. Unfortunately I had to upgrade my PC, which now runs win11, and now I don't know how to reinstall my FireworkCS6. I can't find it in Creative Cloud. There used to be an option to update discontinued products, now there isn't. Does anyone have any idea how to proceed?

Hello, As several users have already reported, my copy of Fireworks is also stuck in an expired trial state.For reference I hold a full creative cloud license (all apps). Here are all the things I have tried:- Uninstall Fireworks, reboot, re-install (no effect)- Adobe Cleaner Tool (wiped everything, no luck)- Deleted all Adobe registry entrys (no effect)- Tried setting "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDapp.exe" to start as administrator (caused Fireworks to fail to open every time)- Tried what Paul-M suggested here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/fireworks/fireworks-is-asking-for-a-quot-serial-number-quot/m-p/12095452#M2340 and that prompted me to log in with my adobe ID, however it again asked for a serial number after clicking "License this software". I rely on Fireworks and this problem is causing lost time in the office. Appreciate that this is discontinued software (despite it still being offered in CC). Is there anything else th

 Hello. I'm asking you for help. I have been using Fireworks for many years - back when it was owned by macromedia. A few years ago, I purchased the program. As it turned out, I was cheated by the seller. I then contacted the service department. They put me in some program for cheated customers. The program worked without problems for several years until yesterday. I turned to Adobe because I wanted to take advantage of a promotional offer (I wanted to reduce costs). The consultant closed my old subscription and started a new one. Unfortunately, after this operation, the program asks for a key and informs that the trial period has expired. I guess that a few years ago, the consultant extended the free license period for me - so that I could use it without any problems. Today, unfortunately, the company is unable to help me and I was sent to this forum for advice. Can you advise?

I have a key which starts with WSW600- and the Serial number for Adobe Fireworks CS6 has only 6 characters/Numbers.What can I do to change my WSW600-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx to a valid Adobe License number?

The only reason I pay for my creative cloud license is for Adobe Fireworks. Like me, other UX professionals use Fireworks to design Wireframes, Mockups, Prototypes using Fireworks. It seems like, Adobe is totally disconnected with the customer, and they dont really get whats the purpose of Fireworks!!! This is terrible adobe, Fireworks is the best tool for Web and Interface design, and it does it fast and quick!!!

Sorry to open a new thread, and mostly just for a sentence and a question, but it looks like the discussion "Is It Possible To Get or Download Studio MX 2004?" has been locked. Is it a mistake ?   Anyway, I wanted to thank @Abambo . At the time, there was a version available that did not need activation. This special version has been made available, when the activation servers shut down. It was thought to be used by licenced users, but effectively, it got treated like a public domain freeware, what it never was. By @Abambo   I'm having trouble remembering what features this release offers, but thanks for the tip, that's good to know.   In fact, it does not seem to me that there have been great improvements between version 7 and the latest one. Hello,I have Studio MX 2004 (version 7, build 288), which I have been using consistantly since I purchased it in about 2004, and before, I actually ONLY use one of the programs on it, Fireworks MX, but I have the License for Studio MX, the problem is that the disk is broken so I can not re-install it...Fireworks MX has been the best, easiest program of it's kind that I have ever used, and if at all possible I'd like to continue using it...Does anyone know if there is any way to get a copy of it?Thank You!

Is fireworks not part of creative cloud anymore?  Total newbie here, if not, how can I get all my fireworks files to open?  Clueless about computers. 

We use to have to launch Muse to open Fireworks. My fireworks apps keep timing out, is there a reason for this. Is there another way to open fireworks?

Everytime I try to open Fireworks CS6 (latest version of Master Collection and all updated), it refuses to run and a small pop up dialogue opens to say: An internal error occured. The pop up message cannot be removed. Each time I click it, it simply returns and I have to CTRL ALT DEL to shut down Fireworks.Any ideas folks?

Hi and TIA for this Used this program for years and never had a prob, til today In creating animated gif I want to fade each state so it disappears and then reappears, 5 fade out, 5 fade back in. yeah, nah....when i press duplicate state and alter the transparency, it copies that transparency to EVERY state!??why?? please LMK how i can stop it doing that and just let me alter my transparency setting separtately without copying to every onethanks!!

I spent a stressfull morning trying to get Fireworks, a program I have used for years, but thought was gone. Imagine how happy I was when the Adobe support rep on chat this moring told me I could still install Fireworks if I purchased an "all apps subscription" for just $52.99 per month.  At the end of the chat session, and after buying the all apps subscription, I asked for directions to download Fireworks.  Only to be told, oh, well you simply download Illustrator 'cause that's the new Fireworks. Say what???? Oh, and they also told me I'd get a hard copy of the chat session, which I have yet to receive... Sounds to me like Adobe may just have a corporate culture issue! 

Hello All - I have Adobe CC license, and i recently installed Fireworks CS6. I am getting a message that the app is in trial period and i need to purchase the license. My question is when Fireworks CS6 is included in Adobe CC license, why i am getting license expiry message. Regards,Srikanth
