27.0.0.170 is killing us right now.It is throwing IE11 crashes followed by DEP errors. I would avoid deploying it to thousands of endpoints for now.
[moderator: moved title content to message/body area and edited title for conciseness]I am trying to update Flashplayer but keep getting "application initialization error". I am running Windows XP and using Firefox. I have tried several times to update but still get the error. Help -- Ray
Hi,We recently upgraded all of our desktops (windows 7) with the ShockWave Flash update 27.0.0.170; we are now seeing performance issues in Oracle BI that have flash add-on's via IE11 - when navigating, the browser will eventually crash. Also, adobe captivate videos are crashing via the IE11 browser as well. When I revert back to 27.0.0.130, everything is fine.Is there a fix coming out to address this soon?
Hello,We recently pushed the 27.0.0.170 version to all of our systems globally. Yesterday we started receiving reports that it was crashing Flash enabled websites. After a few seconds of normality the screen will lock up and then flip to a page saying "Internet Explorer has closed this webpage to help protect your computer" and the url gets prefixed with "res://ieframe.dll/acr_depnx_error.htm#adobe.com," The weird things is that we can replicate this at will on computers in the UK and France but it isn't happening on any of our systems in the US.I know there is a Beta .180 version available but, as this is for Windows 10, that isn't an option. Can anyone suggest what we can do to fix this whilst we wait for Novembers Patch Tuesday? Thanks

Hi,I am unable to get IE to recognise Flash is installed if it is installed from an .msi.This is affecting around 70+ computers at 2 different sites so I would prefer not to use the manual installation. This is affecting PC's running both Windows 7 and Windows 10.I am using: install_flash_player_27_active_x.msiI re-downloaded it earlier today and have the same results.I can see the program is installed in "Program and Features" but it does not appear in IE11's "Manage add-on" list. Please help.
I had a recent fiasco with a windows update that screwed up my windows install (I assume this is the cause), so I had to reinstall windows recently.Prior to the install, I had Flash Player running on all of my browsers (Opera, Edge, Chrome, Firefox) on my computer (Windows 10).After reinstalling windows, I am unable to get Flash Player to function at all. I've tried just the regular installer. I've tried uninstalling and using the PPAPI installer. I've tried running SubInACL. I've tried Glary Utilites Registry repair tool. So far nothing is working. What else can I try at this point?EDIT: To clarify, Flash Player installs successfully, and shows up in my installed programs list. I have my browser close when Flash Player installs. When I open my browser again (no matter what browser it is), I am told that Flash Player is not installed.EDIT 2: If anyone has any ideas at all, no matter how outlandish they may seem, please let me know. Or if you know what tech support numbers I can call, t
Have received numerous notifications to update Flash (my version is19.0.0.226). Have attempted to update numerous times with no joy. I'm unable to open the install .exe files that download (flashplayer27au_ha_install.exe 1,177 KB). Double click fails and "Open" fails. Occasionally I receive a .part file. OS is 32 bit Win/XP, browser is Firefox (NPAPI).
OS: Windows 10Web Browser: Firefox 56.0.2Flash Version: 27.0.0.183I'm trying to load an .swf file but all of the text is white when it should be black. If I hit "settings" in the right click menu, the menu comes up but all of the text is either white or doesn't show up (can't tell which) and the menu buttons do nothing when clicked on. I was successful once in moving through the menu by hitting tab, but I can't do that anymore. This happens if I load the file from my computer or from the internet it's hosted on a site and available for download). I've uninstalled and reinstalled flash and the problem still persists. The strangest thing is when I click settings, the text in the background turns the correct color, but since I can't get rid of the settings menu I have to refresh the page, rinse and repeat.
We have still problems using the flash player. Since version 27.0.0.159 until version 27.0.0.183 flash player crashes while using some web applications in all browsers. Strange but true: the BETA version of flash player 27.0.0.180 works fine in all browsers with all applications we use. So we have to use the BETA version for most of our employees to provide crashing the browser all 10 seconds. Please publish a new stable version asap, as the BETA version 27.0.0.180 is. I don't know why Adobe offers such unstable versions to the public while they have stable BETA versions. I have to administrate a lot of devices and we have a lot of work because of this unstable flash player since version 27.0.0.159. Before this version we never ever had problems at all with flash player, so I wonder why this happen now and won't be fixed. We use Windows 7 SP1 and Internet Explorer 11 with the latest patchlevel and the newest Firefox version (56.0 (64-bit or 32-bit)[Updated subject to more accurately de

The link Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe - doesn't work.Other versions of the flash player I can download.
In today's scheduled release, we've updated Flash Player with important functional and security fixes. Current Flash Player customers who have selected the "Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended)" update mechanism will be automatically updated to the latest version of Flash Player over the next 24 hours. The most recent Flash Player security bulletin can be found here: Security Bulletin (APSB17-33)Features for Flash Player 27:Support ActionScript API for Audio Device ManagerWith the release of Flash Player 27, developers can now select the audio output from ActionScript using the new ActionScript API - “AudioDeviceManager”. It is in sync with Flash Player's audio output settings. A UIA (User Invoked Action) restriction is applied to this API keeping in view user privacy concerns. The API can only be invoked by a user invoked action. If it is not invoked by user action, Flash Player throws a runtime error "IllegalOperationError" with error code 2176.Use the
os10.13.1 High Sierra recently loaded. Also, recently Uploaded flash player 27. When I attempt to update my website with new photo files, the browser Safari, is unable to detect ANY files.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash player 27. Problem persists. Not sure if the issue is with flash player27 or with High Sierra. On another computer which runs osSierra 10.12.6 and with flashplayer27, there are no issues. Is there a remedy for the 10.13.1/FP27 problem I'm seeing? Thanks

My company uses Adobe flash player version 10.2. Is there specific version of adobe flash player that I need to download in order to view the content from their webpage on my IPhone 6?
In several placest at the website page ( http://www.outersecrets.com/real/biblecode2a.htm ), Adobe Shockwave Flash is required.I have the Adobe Shockwave Flash ( Ver 27.0.0.183 ) installed in Firefox, and it is set to be "Always active".If I startup Firefox and go to the above website, all flash videos are working except one which requires a mouse click to enable, the one that is located below the yellow words "TORAH CODES". Instead what I get here is nothing but the background image. However, if I then click on the Firefox "Reload current page" option, this corrects the problem and the video preview image appears. Meanwhile, this two time page loading requirement does not become a requirement if I instead use the Microsoft Edge browser.Computer System : Intel Code Duo E8400 @ 3.0GHz, Windows 10 Pro 64 bit version 1703,Firefox 56.0.2 ( 64 bit ).This problem has not occured before as close to a decade has passed by.
