This problem appears to have come out of nowhere. If watching a video on youtube I can watch it for quite a while then it will stop streaming, the grey bar stops getting longer. It then just shows the buffering circle continuously and doesn't continue unless I refresh the page and resume from where I was stuck. This happens on Youtube and on BBC iPlayer, although I assume it must happen elseware, but I don't use anything else to know this.I've tried reinstalling flash and Java, using Chrome, Firefox and IE, it happens on them all. My internet connection can't be the issue as a laptop on the same network has no problem whatsoever and the BBC iPlayer test shows I am way over capable of streaming HD videos. Please help!ThanksDavid

I have been trying to install Flash Player but it keeps stoping at this point where it tells me that safari needs to be closed but it is already closed, or I close it and then click "retry" and it still does not work. I don't know what is wrong, or where to go from here.
I am using Windows 10 Creators Update with Chrome v 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)When I go to settings and set "allow sites to run Flash" I continue having problems where sites I visit won't automatically run Flash. I have to manually permit each site to run Flash. I have tried deleting the browser cache but to no avail. Any suggestions?
I've downloaded flash player three times now, going through every step. The first two times I didn't sign up for the adobe stock image program. The computer has been restarted, browsers closed, etc. Today I downloaded it again and signed up for the stock images just incase it was necessary to finish the download and yet it still won't work. What in the world am I doing wrong? Or not doing? I just need to do my homework and I want to throw my computer across the room... I won't but still. I do not understand what is wrong. Thank you so much for your technology skills.Samm

Hi,We have encountered a problematic bug with Safari on Mac for Flash that manifests 100% of the time in response to file downloads; In response to repeated attempts to download a PDF or other file, the browser window will lock-up and become unresponsive. It seems to be operating system specific - we have ONLY observed it with Mac OS in Safari browser. It doesn't seem to manifest in Windows at all, and we have not observed it in other browsers on Mac either.Has anybody else encountered this?If so, please can you comment on and vote for the ticket I have raised here: Tracker Thanks,G
Hi! I have the newest Mac book pro and I tried downloading flash so I could watch tv shows online, and I complete all the steps until it gets to "plug-in settings". That is where I mess up, because the application never pops up like it is suppose to. I do not know what I am doing wrong.
I couldn't find any answers to this problem on the web so I am making this quick tutorial so others can get it working quicker than I did. The current versions of Flash Installers have a built in Admin User check that doesn't allow the MSI installer to with GPO work during login. It logs the event log error "+GPO Product: Adobe Flash Player 27 ActiveX -- You must have administrative privileges to install Flash Player 27. Please log on with administrative privileges and try again." First if you don't have the MSI downloaded, you will want to register with Adobe to distribute flash as an MSI and they will give you the download links. (They will email you back with the links usually the same day you register)Download the version you want to install, both of these work great using my method.install_flash_player_27_active_x.msiinstall_flash_player_27_active_x.msi Next you will need to create a modification (MST) to ignore that Admin User check. The easiest way to do this is by installing
I submitted the request for a Flash Player distribution license last week and have yet to receive any confirmation from Adobe that I submitted the request, was granted a distribution license, or denied the same. We need to deploy a new version of Flash to a signification number of devices. When should I expect a response back to my request?

Hello,After latest Flash update (27.0.0.130), clearing Firefox cookies affects/resets Flash Global settings. In Windows Control Panel/Flash Player (32bit) I always use "Block..." settings and never change it.Right after latest Flash update, when I delete Firefox cookies I find those settings changed to default (Allow.../Ask...).I think this is a serious security issue because user doesn't know about this.My system: Win 10 Pro/64b v.1607 // Firefox 55.0.3 (32bit)Issue has been confirmed in another forum by a Win 7 user too.I finally was forced to uninstall current v. 27.0.0.130 and install previous v. 26.0.0.151 for the issue to be solved. Now everything seems to be OK! Deleting FF cookies does not affect Flash settings.Hope for a fixing real soon. It's critical!Note: Deleting Edge cookies does not affect Flash settings. As for IE 11, issue exists even if Flash plugin has not been installed.Thank you!Regards

Windows 10 64 bitFirefox 55.0.3A previous user also needed permission to delete the file below. The solution wasto do the 3 steps. How is that done?
Windows 10 updated on my PC last week. Ever since, any website that uses flash player has no sound. For example, certain streaming websites such as PS Vue or Hulu. I first noticed it in the Edge browser. Tried Firefox and Chrome and still no sound. The latest version of flash player is installed for the Firefox plugin. With Edge there is no way to update it, as Windows supposedly updates it automatically. In each browser settings, flash player is enabled. All other forms of media have sound fine. Websites that do no use flash player, such as YouTube, work fine. In the sites I noticed it does not work, there is no way to change any specific flash player settings for that site (no right click option, nothing in the browser tool bars).I suspect the Windows update last week screwed something up or does not play well with flash player. No response from Microsoft support. Surely, I can't be the on
To Whom it may Concern; For several months now, when I Scan my HP Notebook -15-ba004ds (ENERGY STAR) Laptop Computer, currently running a "FULL CLEAN OEM Win 10 Pro x64 installed by "MICROSOFT", Upgraded with Insider Preview Evaluation copy. Build 16278.rs3_release.170825-1441 Operating System, with Belarc Advisor, it consistently reports that there are "TWO MISSING ADOBE FLASHPLAYER SECURITY UPDATES" no matter how many times that I attempt to 'UPDATE FLASHPLAYER"
Option just can choose one of the OUT program....do not have default OUT program(Follow win10 OS)This is the Flashplayer''s option:↑↑↑↑The right option should be this:↓↓↓When I play video from IE or EDGE ,If i want change audio out program, I need choose one of then every times on web page rather than change it in win10OS
Tested on the latest updated versions of Ubuntu, Fedora. CentOS and Manjaro (all 64 bit)By default the Linux distos updater's install Firefox 52.3.0 (64 bit) and Adobe Flash Plugin 27.Issue: When visiting Flash heavy websites, whilst flash is active all locally installed media players (Totem, SMPlayer & VLC (although plays no sound)) load media but will not play. As soon as the Flash website is closed, media playback starts.Only workaround I can find:Removing Adobe Flash Plugin 27 (.so plugin) and replacing with a previous version, eg version 26 (.so plugin) insteadI retried installing Adobe Flash Plugin 27 but problem re-occurred. thought deduction I have concluded Flash Plugin 27 as the problem. Is Adobe aware, when will a patched version to address this problem be released?
Hello, I tried installing Flash this morning and it took over my Safari by wiping my home page and opened a booking.com app which installed on my computer. Is this normal
We are using Flash 127.0.0.130 on Win 7. When we play flash content from web sites (for audio/video playback) all the playback is heard through the pc tower (not the speakers). An example web site is qvc.com. During my testing, on several pcs, web sites using flash (for audio and video playback) play sound from the pc notthe speakers. Web sites not using Flash 27.0.0.130 play audio from the speakers. Does Support have options for a resolution?
