Flash Player (read-only)

Hello,We use Microsoft Group Policy to install Flash Player on all of our systems, but version 23.0.0.207 will not install. It does not show up in Add/Remove Programs like some of the reports I have seen. I can install the MSI manually, but we have too many machines, so that is not an option. I have seen that others are having the same issue. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Hi all,I would like to deploy flash player version 19.0.0.226 for internet explorer via gpo. we already deployed version 19.0.0.207 succecsfull. Now I added the new msi file to the gpo and set that this package can upgrade the older version. i tried with uninstalling and with updating. both times at my test client the adobe flash player is removed from the installed software list in the system configuration, but when i check the version under flash player, it is the new one. and everytime the client reboots it wants to install the newest version. i also tried to apply the update in a seperate gpo with the same result. flash player is not displayed in th system configuration but in flash player options it shows me the newest version.what do i wrong?

Dear all,We have been installing Flash Player through GPO on our machines for a long time now and since this year it always went OK.Today people started complaining that they saw messages on webpages accessed by IE that they had to install Flash Player. I took a look in the installed programs and I saw Flash Player being installed, but not the ActiveX part. And when I manually run the MSI from the share, it says "You must have administrative privileges to install Flash Player 24. Please log on with administrative privileges and try again." although I am a local Admin (also tried with Domain Admin).Can someone tell me why this is happening? I'm talking about ActiveX version 24.0.0.186

Dear support team,I am trying to deploy Flash Player 23.0.0.207 msi using GPO.  The deployment seems to be working fine as in the installed program list I can find both the Adobe Flash Player 23 ActiveX & NPAPI.  However, when I verify if the installation went well on "Adobe - Flash Player " it seems like there is no Flash version installed.  I only have the grey box displayed.If I manually try to install it, I am prompted with a "You must have administrative privileges to install Flash Player 23.  Please log on with administrative privileges and try again". I have tried many times to download Flash Player Version 27.0.0.130 and it acts like it's downloading, I restart my computer, but it still isn't downloaded. I'm using a laptop with Windows 7 Pro. I have both IE and Google Chrome. Last night I was able to watch a movie online without any problem but when I tried to watch another it came up with the same error that I needed to download Flash Player.When I initially go to the download page I get a message at the bottom of the screen saying  "An add-on for this website failed to run", but it lets me go through the download process without any other problem. But when I go to watch something online it won't play and Flash Player doesn't show up on my system. I checked in the "Manage Add-ons" section in "Tools" and Shockwave is already enabled. I have an App (EMC ESRS Policy Manager) on a Server, Server has no Internet. I have another Server,there is Adobe Flash Player 13 ActiveX and Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin installed. We use Chromeas Brower. On the second Machine i could reach and display a Website. On the server where the Appis installed i can not display it.From where can i get the same Versions of Adobe Flash Player to install on the Server with the App?I want to be sure, that the Version doen't matter.Until now i could only find Adobe Flashplayer 26 and 27 PPAPI or NPAPIKInd Regards

Linux Mint 18.2 Firefox 55.0.2 (64-bit)Flash Player 27.0.0.130I don't get any sound at c-span.org. On YouTube and other sites I get sound.  I saw something about right clicking to select an output when a video is playing. That crashes the flash plug in. Sound plays in Google Chrome and Firefox in Windows 10 on the same machine.

Using flash 27.0.0130 with mac 10.12.6 and this issue has presented before (previous versions) in that every time a browser is closed the privacy settings which stop use of storage and camera open back to allow. This is not a cache issue this time as clearing both the application cache and web content cache separately does not cause the issue, shutting down the browser does in both safari and firefox. This is a very risky if you want to be secure online and considering it has been a similar issue in the past one would query the diligence of those not learning from their mistakes !!!  The browsers are the latest available and the previous version of flash worked fine. So Adobe if there is a solution please advise or at least look into it.

Can they be permanently deleted or should they have automatically been placed with the respective browser Flash software wherever it is automatically saved to?2. Does selecting 'install updates automatically' in the Flash Player Settings Manager (within Control Panel and selecting Flash) check for updates automatically in all three browsers or do I have to go to the Adobe Flash Player test page using each browser and select that option? 3. Every time I go to the Adobe Flash test page, another Dir.dcr file is added to my Downloads folder so now I have 13 Dir.dcr

I am using flash activex as embed inside a c++ project.The c++ project is free software application in all its services that needs flash to be embed inside it.I need to know these :1. how can i have it as embed inside c++ so users dont need to donwload flash as they install the c++ application but it is allready embed inside the application2. will i have problems after 2020 that adobe has announced that flash will not be available in browsers ?*** By embed i mean like chrome or Edge browsers using it without the need of installing the flash player independantly.Thank you in advance

While updating adobe flash on some of our computers, at times a computer will ask after I hit the download and try to access download for that update - which program do I want to "open" the file with.The fast fix is this:   while touching the file to "save as"  make sure the file ending has a    .exe    and not a _exe     It must have a .exe or the file will not open while you are saving it.  After it asked which program I wanted to open the adobe flash   flashplayer27ax_ra_install_exe     I touched the "save as" and  changed the underline   _exe to .exe  ex: flashplayer27ax_ra_install.exe  and the file "saved" and opened correctly.    Hope this helps some.

Hi All,I just installed the adobe flash player today. When I installed it, it installed something called True Key. I didn't want True Key. I uninstalled it, but will the flash player try to install other software I don't want? I did select "Let adobe install updates", and now I'm afraid the "updates" might include software I didn't want / need / authorize!Thanks,-Brian

Whenever i visit website which is of games or like video embedded websites like miniclips.com​, addictiongames.com, saiwire.com  then it first asks me to run the flash player then it crashes.
