OS = Windows 7 - currently up to date. Browser = Firefox 54.0 (32-bit)Flash NAIPI = Ver 25.0.0.171 (current) Whenever I am prompted to download the latest Flash update on my PC (in this case Version 26.0.0.131), the exe file successfully downloads. But when I attempt to install, I get nothing but a blank software loading window (see http://www.publicom-usa.com/misc/image1.jpg). Then, when I close this blank window, my computer automatically opens Internet Explorer (which is not my default browser) but nothing happens (http://www.publicom-usa.com/misc/image2.jpg). However, usually a day or two later, my Avast Security Software Updater is able to download and update the latest Flash with no issues. Since I'm tired of having to wait for Avast to do what should be a simple task, can someone tell me what I must do? FYI, I have Adobe Creative Suite (4) loaded to this machine. But I also have CS4 on my laptop, and do not experience this problem when
I tried to enter this before. Adobe sent me a message saying my flash player needed upgrading, so I clicked on sending it. When I went to run it the download bar showed that it was also downloading a McAfee program that I was not told about or asked to download. It completed the download, and ran the Flash Player update, then Mcfee started to run a scan. I have other safety programs, and WIN 10 programs, and have no use for McAfee anything. So I have removed the McAfee program from my computer, and also the Adobe Flash Player, I hope someone from Adobe is reading this, I wont trust Adobe again with anything.I dont know what program uses Flash Player, if something needs it I will see if anything else will do it and download that.
Hey there. This discussion to ask for help because I do not know what to do anymore.I did everything every sites tells me do to do: I changed in the contents to allow it on every site, I've allowed it on sites itself, re-installed,..But for some reason it keeps being blocked.Help?A screenshot for proof that I did allow itAnd A screenshot to show that it keeps being blockedGoogle Chrome: Version 59.0.3071.109 (Official Build) (64-bit)Pc: 64-bits operating systemThanks in advanceJames
On sites like CNN and MTV, I cannot watch anything. I just get a constant loading sign followed by an error that suggests that my flash player is not up to date (which I have checked, and it is) or that it isn't enabled (which it is). I am using a Mac and this is only happening on Chrome and Safari. Firefox works just fine, but man I hate using Firefox.Anyone have any ideas? I've used chrome:flags, checking my DNS, uninstalling and reinstalling flash player, resetting and uninstalling Chrome but I have gotten nowhere. Everything regarding Flash Player and Chrome are up to date.
Windows7 SP1. I have an Acer Aspire7551. Flash Player was working until I installed recent updates from Windows. I receive no error codes. Only websites saying "Could not Load Plug in" or "Flash Player is disabled or need to Install". The Adobe website tells me that my FP is disabled in Chrome, but when I go to the site to enable my plug in, it states that it is already enabled. The same for my IE Extension. Flash Player is enabled, but websites are not working. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, loaded the fix file and run the script, reinstalled Chrome, unchecked my ActiveX filter in my Internet options. I've tried everything that looked close to resolving the issue to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?
I downloaded flashplayer because I needed it for online classes, you sneakily installed McAfee with it and now I can't uninstall McAfee. Tell me how to get rid if of it, when I do it the normal way it says it cannot because there is a program opened using it but my task manager is empty so what else did you install that is running in the back using this?
When I go to settings I see that it is enabled when I go to www.mlb.com and click on an audio feed I get messsage that flash player needs to be enabled. I seem to be in a do loop.
I downloaded the direct install files from the website. The furthest I have gotten is getting a request for approval to start the install, but the installer never came up. I don't currently have flash player for any browser installed, and I'd like to be able to view videos smoothly. Using Vista SP2.
when i go to settinngs and get to manage exceptions the instructions say to enter " website domain "i dont know what that is ?

Hi All,My File Integrity Monitoring Software (FIM) keeps tagging these files:C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Temp\{A4F368DA-C5FB-4140-851F-A58B22DB8436}C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Temp\{49A52BB7-FCF8-4F4C-9954-8089A4083CC2}C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Temp\{7AF47549-D465-43B8-BC1D-39AD64D48260}What are they and are they friend or foe? Many thanks,-T
Using Mac with browser Firefox. The Flash Player is verified current 26,0,0,131 as of Jun 19, 2017. Over the last day or two continue to get popups for update. How do I stop that? There is no Macromedia file in library/application support/BTW We always go to Adobe Flash website to download (never through a popup). Please send specific instructions to correct this recurring popup. Thank you.
Flash 26.0.0.131 Firefox 54.0Mac OS 10.11.6But none of that matters ...My problem (and I guess it is MY problem) is that I hate it when software is automagically installed on MY computer without MY expressed permission! I set all MY computer's upgrade preferences to settings that allow ME to perform the updates. I do this because, sometimes, new problems are introduced when new software is installed!! It's a damned good reason!! If installations are being done at times unknown to ME - the only person who is in a position to troubleshoot MY computer - I am not in a position to ask one of the most important questions that a troubleshooter can ask - namely: DID I CHANGE ANYTHING JUST BEFORE THIS CRAP STARTED HAPPENING? In its infinite wisdom, ADOBE has apparently chosen to design THEIR installer to reset MY installation preference to automagic each time I update Flash. So I must remember to manually reset the preference from ADOBE's preferred setting ba
A creature of habit, every morning I go to this link Games - NY Daily News and using the crossword application's print puzzle feature, get a printout of the puzzle. I like doing it on paper. (old habits die hard) - after a firefox update yesterday afternoon, 51.0.1, the application starts, but the print function doesn't work at all. Any ideas?system - hp envy running win10 pro with 8G ram. always worked until this morning. Thanks,Glenn

I have a 64 bit linux system (ubuntu)that will not run the flash player that I have installed. I moved it from my downloads folder into documents and extracted it hoping that it would work that way. I still see no activity when I attempt to play course material from udemy.com. Anyone have any ideas? Possibly I have 32 but don't know it ? Feel quite positive that its 64 though.
Happens 50% of the time. I want it stopped!
I thought I had the most recent version of Flash Player -- at least I downloaded it and tried to install it the last time I got a notice that there was a new version. Apparently that's not so -- today while I was checking to see what Microsoft updates were installed over night, I found a message saying I either do not have Flash Player installed, or it is disabled. There was an option to install the latest version, so I clicked on that. When it finished downloading, I clicked "run" and got the following message:In order for Flash Player to be installed or updated, any programs that use Flash Player must be closed. This includes Internet Explorer or other browsers, instant messengers, Skype, etc. These programs may be running in the background, not as visible windows, but need to be closed anyway. To close such programs use the Windows Task Manager. To start Task Manager, take any of the following actions:Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, and then click Task Manager.Pre
