Flash Player (read-only)

Hello,I have a problem installing Adobe Flash Player.I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64 Bits.No proxy use for my Internet Connection.My IE version is the latest (with Windows updates).My Firefox and Chrome version are the latest too.Each time I try to install or update Adobe Flash Player, I've the following message :In French "Erreur d'initialisation de l'application".In English maybe "Initialization application error".The Adobe_ADM.log is the following :06/17/17 18:17:56:282 | [INFO] |  | ADM |  | ApplicationContext |  |  | 4144 | *********************** ADM Workflow start. I reapplied for distribution of flash player and did not receive the download link.  It is not in the SPAM folder.  Do I have to apply again?

Hi,I'm just here to say that I find just incredible and unacceptable that Mc Afee Antivirus has been installed on my computer during Flash Player installation without asking me anything.This methods have been condamned in Europe and France for other softwares editors who used to force consumers to use their tools or partners ones.I condamn Adobe for such methods and will not renew the licenses I actually own (LR).Ciao.[Moved from the Adobe LiveCycle General discussions - features, feedback, training, documentation, etc. forum and into a more appropriate forum. - moderator]

J'ai installé shockwave flash 26.0.0.131 en utilisant install_flash_player.exe (l'installation automatique avec flashplayer26_ha_install.exe se mettant en erreur à 50% d'avancement)Je suis sur Windows XP avec Firefox.La commande about:plugins  me confirme l'installation.Par contre quand je vais sur la page :"Adobe - Flash Player " ça m'affiche "You have version 10,0,0,0 installed"Malgré désisntallation et réinstallations, ça ne fonctionne pas.Quelqu'un peu m'aider ? Na trzech komputerach z Windows XP sprawdziłem, że nie można zainstalować Flash Playera ver. 26.0.0.131 dla przeglądarek Firefox (najnowsza wersja) oraz Opera i Internet Explorer (ostatnie wersje akceptowane przez Windows XP). Z instalacją na ww. komputerach Flash Playera ver. 25.0.0.171, którą przeprowadzałem dnia 14 maja 2017 r. nie było problemów.Zaznaczam, że ww. komputery są sprawne "zadbane" i regularnie aktualizowane.On three computers from Windows XP I have checked, that you can not install Flash Player ver. 26.0.0.131 for browsers Firefox (latest version) and Opera and Internet Explorer (last versions accepted by Windows XP). With the installation on the above computers Flash Player ver. 25.0.0.171, which I conducted on May 14, 2017, was no problem.I note that the above computers are "well maintained" and regularly updated.Wojciech Słota

pls help me with a solution. I had already fed up of trying to fix my problem. when ever I tries to play hotstar, it show that flash player is not installed. and if I I got to lood at the troubleshooting methord in internet explorer,it says it has already been enabled.Most importantly, I was not able to find any of the websites. so. kindly help me with a solution.[moderator: branched to new topic with descriptive title]

Hi, Jeromie (and others),New update:My install to the latest version of Flash Player finally went OK.  So thanks again for that.However, it did not help with my other problem of videos having a audio-video sync problem only on the Hulu.com site in the full screen mode.I have tried just about everything else that I can find about this problem on the internet without finding an adequate solution.Hulu Support now suggests that I go back and download an archieved Flash Player 10.3x file in the meantime until a fix becomes available.I have done this and the situation is better but is not 100% cured.  I am still looking for a fix.Thanks againVernonDale

When I downloaded and opened my flashplayer26pp_va_install.exe, a window called Adobe Download Manager appeared but it has nothing in it other than a grey background. When I close it, IE browser pops up showing a webpage that actually never loads, and the above-mentioned exe is automatically deleted. Any solution to this???System: Win7Browser: Chrome 34 beta (yes I'm using this old version because you need a vpn to upgrade chrome in China. However I don't think it has anything to do with the flash player installer)

I am running Windows 10.Latest version of Google Chrome.Latest version of Adobe Flash Player: 26.0.0.131I have tried using internet explorer with no success either.I can also confirm Adobe Flash Player is up to date and enabled on all browsers.

Hi, I have a complex problem. I have a Windows 7 Home desktop and also a Windows 7 Professional laptop. Both have 3 browsers: IE, Chrome, and Firefox. I used to have Opera, but uninstalled it on both computers.I updated IE with Flash 25 Active X. Then I updated Firefox with Flash 25 NPAPI. I checked Chorme, but it said it was already updated on the Flash page:But...it is really not updated! Here is proof from my AV program which checks for available updates:In addition, Adobe itself is sending me messages on both computer that it needs to install a PPAPI update! And I checked on Chrome, by pasting this into the browser url:chrome://componentsThe result said Flash was not updated!!!:Please...how do I manually update Flash on Chrome without having to rely on Adobe or my AV program to prompt me? I don't want automatic updates. And why do Flash and Chrome tell me I am updated when I am really not?Thanks!

Every time I try to install it, it gets to around 32 percent downloaded then says an error has occurred. I've checked to see if the plugin was enabled, and it was, but it still keeps crashing mid download. (PS: I'm using firefox (latest version)

Hi!With the recently released 26.0.0.126 our existing flash application (using flex) now has problems with drag and drop.When the onEnter event is returning that the item should be able to be dropped it is not returning correct status and drop is not allowed.I will continue to investigate if i can find some way to go around it but at this time it breaks our application.Update: In my local tests with standalone debug player it seems as the "dragEnter" event never gets triggered. It works on some items but not after the item has been updated. The whole DND-system seems to be messed up...//Daniel

I don't understand why Flash will not work on this program.  It says it's installed AND I followed the instructions to enable it by going to Chrome Contents and allowing Flash for 'ALL'.  Anyone have this issue with this program or any others?[moderator:  added browser to title]

I have been using SCUP successfully to publish flash 25 (127, and 171), but I can't get 26 to show up in software updates. I publish it from SCUP without error but no show in SCCM, first published Friday, and tried a republish today without success, rebooted SCCM as well.

I could not opt out of installing McAfee AND Intel programs with last Flash manual update!This made me very unhappy today and I spent 15 minutes including rebooting my computer to uninstall these programs. A huge inconvenience just to update the Flash player.Shady tactics. Usually I need to be alert not to accidentally install the unwanted bloatware "offered" with your updates, but this time there was no opt-out option. Flash has WAY too many updates anyway. Chill out Adobe.

It’s indicated as the version I am recommended to have but I have not been able to find it.

A day after uninstalling Flash Player version 26 to troubleshoot PC issues, the Adobe Flash Player Online installer is having issues downloading the setup files and returns error "Application Initialization Error". I have Mozilla Firefox version 54 and Internet Explorer version 11. OS is Windows 7 64 bit. I looked at the FlashPlayerInstall32.log file, and the error code was "1226 1062". Any help would be appreciated.

In the demo, anti-aliasing is enabled by default, and it works perfectly on most browsers like IE and FireFox, however, it doesn't work on Chrome.In order to locate this bug precisely, we wrote a small 3D program that is independent of our engine, and here is the linkhttp://www.evil3d.cn/demos/test/chromeAATest.html . You can click the left mouse button to turn on/off the anti-aliasing to see the change. We found that if the object is drawn to a floating point buffer, anti-aliasing will fail only on chrome, but works just fine on IE or FireFox. I downloaded Flash Player 26 from the distribution site:  Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe When attempting to install the MSI, I'm receiving an error:I've tested on a number of computers and it's not always look for version 16.  I've seen 16 - 21 so far.Given that I don't keep an archive of software going back that far and apparently neither does Adobe, I'm forced to cancel and receive this error:I have run the Adobe uninstall application, looked through the registry, etc.
