Flash Player (read-only)

I seem to be unable to install Adobe Flash Player on my Mac. This is the error message I receive after I download the application: The Troubleshoot link leads to this page--Why do I receive "License Manager Error -96"? - MATLAB Answers - MATLAB Central --which I honestly can't make sense of (gave it a try but failed). I've also uninstalled the older version of Adobe FP that was on my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Got the usual "Flash out of date" pop-up on my screen, but when I went to do the upgrade, I see that the drop-down list of operating systems for mac is 10.9-10.12. Is this the official end of support for anything older than 10.9?

I currently trying to update flash via the installer on the website however I keep getting 'Initialization Error' upon opening the installer. I've been in contact with support whom wouldn't give me a link to an offline installer and directed me here instead. I had the same error with Acrobat Reader but there was an offline installer easily available, which solved the problem.I've been pointed to these forums so I shall ask again, Offline Installer please!! Is there any software which looks after all adobe runtimes/reader ect? or is that far too much wishful thinking..Thanks for your time,Benp.s. apologies for the double post, I originally posted into the wrong section.

Hello, i come again after 2 weeks to ask for help about the same issue in this thread.​Application: Realm Grinder by DG3rd party software used in game: Free mouse autoclickerSimply put, Flash loses responsiveness almost entirely and now it's even crashing whenever i use my 3rd party software. Problem was nonexistant like 2 months ago.According to Process Lasso, this is not a CPU/RAM issue. I'm currently using the firefox hotfix posted in this thread. And it still crashes.I formated my pc and the problem still comes back no matter what I do.Thank you in advance.

Mac OS 10.11.6, iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011)Safari Version 10.0 (11602.1.50.0.10)Flash version: just uninstalled it, so I no longer have a versionI have tried both the online and offline versions of the installer, to no avail. It always hangs at 90%. One of the first steps that I tried was performing a totally "clean" install (removing all remnants of the players and plugin anywhere on my computer). So, that means that I no longer have any version of Flash available to me at all!

I have applied twice for flashplayer distribution within our organization.I have not seen any reply at all.Then i opend a support call (case 0220105766).Yesterday at morning i recieved the answer, that the licensing team has resent the email.But i dont receive a mail from adobe and no answer from support.Please help!

since updating to new flash player it crashes goes out of focus huge writing on screen ,when it installs it breaks a file that the previous player did not ,C\system32\macroflashplayer\installer\temp\ the older player works fine in firefox but seriousley nags to update ,but new one is bad ,what did you do wrong ?

Comment: the Adobe Flash Uninstaller appears to be messing with Opera's browser settings.This has occurred for about the last month or so, after going through the Flash plugin update process (uninstall the old version, install the newer version).This is with the Windows Opera web browser. Does not happen with Firefox.Windows 10 64-bit, version 1607, build 14393.351.Specifically: After uninstalling the Adobe Flash plugin, Opera "forgets" that the startup page was previously set to "specific page: about:blank" and also: the specified download folder location setting.

My computer is a Mac running the latest operating system 10.2.1I'm writing because, in the last two days, the Adobe Flash Installer keeps interrupting me and telling me to download the latest version of Flash -- even after I've updated.My last update was a few hours ago, and the Installer just popped up again.When the installer tells me to download a newer version, I then go to the adobe website to make sure I'm not being spoofed by some kind of fake/malware installer.But something wrong is going on.Is anyone else having this problem and know what's going on?Thanks.

I too am having problems installing version 23.0.0.185 on with Safari OS X El Capitan.  Stops installing at 90%.  Appears many others are having the same problem, but I haven't seen a response fix from Adobe as yet.  What's up?

I'm so sick of this piece of garbage I could scream. EVERY SINGLE DAY I get a notification to update this total crap program, but it never gets past 90% before stopping & it simply times-out and fails. I'm sick of it!!!!! Can't I just make this junk go away? Is there NO other way to operate my computer without constantly being harassed by Adobe EVERY DAMN DAY? Is it too much to ask for you to either make a product that works, provide ACTUAL REAL SUPPORT, or just LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE & take your crap off of my computer?!?!?!?!?!?!? And thanks for making it almost impossible to find any help ANYWHERE! Super convenient to have to beg for assistance from the ether and hope someone will/can respond. I'll never purposely purchase ANYTHING from Adobe EVER, for ANY reason whatsoever, because your support is abysmal and your forums are less than useless!
