Flash Player (read-only)

My company has developed an internal Flex based Flash application that essentially displays a grid of data and allows the users to scroll left to right and up and down to view more column and row data. We've run into an issue with our new computers that when scrolling left to the right, the application lags greatly and then tends to freeze. We see the issue with Windows 10 on Lenovo X1 Carbon's and Surface Pro 4s that have high screen resolution/dpi. The issue does not occur with Windows 7 or Windows 10 on Dell's or other machine's with lower screen resolution. We are currently running Windows 10 1511 and have tried multiple versions of Flash player and Internet Explorer patches. We have also tried multiple display drivers to no avail.When testing in Chrome, the issue does not occur.Can anyone offer some guidance on why the application is behaving poorly on the high screen resolution/dpi computers?Thanks.

Everytime I go on hulu or pandora it asks to download Adobe Flash, and I do but it doesn't work or anything. It continues to ask me this. I'm on a Mac.

I am getting this error Error #2031 i have uninstalled and reinstalled flash player still i am getting the same error

I have windows 7 (64 bit), IE 11 (ActiveX) Flash Player 23.0.0.162.  Whenever I try to play a YouTube video I get a message that I need Flash Player installed.  When I check the Flash Player installed I get the 23.0.0.162.  I have uninstalled it (several times) and reinstalled but still will not work.  I have searched the internet for solutions and followed all suggestions - none work (by the way - all solutions are usually dated 2013 or before - nothing current).  I went to Adobe support and followed suggestions there but nothing worked.  I notice that when examples come up for the solutions they indicate IE 9.  Nothing for IE 11.  I have exhausted many, many hours in searching but nothing works.  I should add that YouTube in Chrome will play but without sound.  Spent many hours trying to get sound but nothing works there either.  I notice that all ads on the interest will play with sound unless they are YouTube based.  Some

Hello, I am part of the IT department of a small construction company and have found an issue with the latest update relating to older .html files. It appears that the new update doesn't play videos within older .html files.  The previous update had no issue. Has anyone else had this issue or am I reporting an issue already brought up?

SWF files were working till safari update now will not play. On MacBook Pro running El Captain 10.11.6.Please help?

I developed a software package for music education that uses Flash: some movies, some scripting. I sell this package as a download, but I also hosted it on a server for my students. Since the latest update of the Flash player the strange thing happens that the online version still works, but the offline version is dead. The interface loads, but the movies and the trainers that use scripting are dead. I use Firefox, since Safari and Flash don't seem to communicate at all. This might become a big problem for my offline customers. Any solutions?<moderator edit: Minor edit to title to clarify issue>

Hello,I am having an issue installing the current version of Flash. The install seems to start and then a few seconds later I get an application initialization error and the install stop. I have an iMac, OS 10.11.6 and use Safari browser.  Installer will download app but crashes when it begins to install @ 55%.  Have run Disk Utility, everything ok. Have turned off Firewall.  Have tried with Safari off and on, same results.  Have uninstalled old version of Flash Player.HELP!!!

I have accepted and turned on everything to do with installing flash player, I have accepted terms & co, put in my password to confirm download and I have made sure I have enough space on my mac. It installs half way, between 50%-52% each time I try, then it fails and does not say why.

I have tried multiple times do download the newest flash player and every time I do it says I have completed the download and to reset the browser and then when I go to a website is still says I need the newest flash player. I have tried like 20 times. I am using a Mac with OS S Yosemite version 10.10.5 and Safari 8.0.8. Please help!!!!!!

Hi,Few days ago I installed the new version of Adobe Flash Player.After that, this complement didn't work on Opera anymore. But it works in Chrome.So I have tried everything: uninstall and install; begin again the computer; and every mix of them.And I have tried every single point of the help zone too and nothing works.My PC is a Windows Vista Home Premium.What can I do to make it works on Opera?Thank you

Anyone else, out there, having issues with Smart Notebook version 11.4 files, with flash embedding?Since the latest two versions of Flash Player updates, we have noticed (on Macs) the Smart Notebook files, that have flash embedding, crash immediately.This was not an issue, last school year, a couple months ago, with the slightly older version of Flash Player...(current at "that" time).We have many Music/Art teachers, here, in my district...that have this issue, now, as of recent.  Anyone have a fix, or is Adobe aware of this?  I could not find any posted issues with this, and when I tried to contact Adobe's chat...they referred me to this...  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

I received the notice that a new version of Adobe Flash was available. I downloaded it and attempted to execute the file but my password was rejected, although it is the one I had been using. I thought it might be time for a new one and went through the password modification process, but the new password doesn't work either. However, I was able to access this sight with the prepopulated password, so I'm really confused. Also, should I delete old versions of Adobe Flash when a new version is installed? Thanks.

this is very odd. I can't even seem to download the new flash update. I install it restart safari and the websites I'm trying to use still ask me to install the new version of Flash.

I know this is a hotly debated issue as there are tons of threads on it, but I have been fighting my issue for over a year and have not found a solution. I seem to do fine on Youtube, as they've upgraded to HTML5 seemingly, but there is one website that is very important to me and I cannot get a decent experience on this computer at that site: www.roll20.net  The problem, like so many others, is high CPU usage.  The total usage is 99 or 100, with the actual flash player using upwards of 70% of that.  I have the same problem on Opera, Firefox, Chrome, Chromium, and IE even though I refuse to use the last one, I did try it as a begrudging test. I have even dual booted with LInux Mint 18 thinking it was a windows problem but the same thing occurs.  Flash player does not play well with my computer for some reason and I'd like to know if there is anything I can do about it.  This problem does not exist on any other computer in our home, using the same network. Even
