what does it mean when I get the message can't open MIME type? And how do I fix the problem?

FlashPlayer 20.0.0.286 and 20.0.0.306 in the new Chrome browser use TLF text will appear garbled, please staff help

I've seen other replies on this topic, have done everything they say to do, and still experience the error shown below.Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Why is it that every time I go to a yahoo news item or a program that uses adobe I get this pop-up right in the middle of my screen that s.yimg.com is requesting more space? The header on this pop-up says adobe flash player. I have gone to a web page that the whole page is about removal of this parasite. I do not have it in my system and do not want it. It says in the box allow or deny. I have to push the deny numerous times to get rid of it. The next time I go to a site there it is. This has been going on for several days now. I got to a box one time when I hit the "?' button that had a box that said 'do not ask this question again and thought all right. This did not work. This has attached itself to your program. I have been using adobe for several years and this is the first time I have had any problem or complaint. I even have Ablock on my computer and this crap is getting around that. I have pop-ups blocked. This is a serious virus. Word of advice stay away.

I am trying to use the website singsnap.com and when the settings box pops up I can't click on anything and I can't get it to close.I tried telling to computer to always allow for singsanp.com and you can see it comes up with "allow" already checked, but I can't make the box go away.I have updated it to the latest version.  I am using firefox which is updated also, on windows 8.

Hi,With Adobe FP on a PC with Chrome browser,  on, say: webpage  Royal Dutch Shell Plc: LON:RDSB quotes & news - Google Finance  , ‌ I am able to invoke the "Technicals" but not retain them when the page is refreshed or see them recur on other similar pages from the home website. This should be doable.  What specific settings do I need in the FP Manager for Chrome, probable against the website to enable?  Thanks, DW

Can someone give me an understanding as to why...

I am trying to use an application on Windows 10 that requires the use of Internet Explorer and the most recent version of Adobe Flash.  At this time I have Flash version 20.0.0.272 installed, and I see that 20.0.0.306 is the most recent version available.  When I go to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html and click on "Check Now" it says that Adobe Flash is up to date already (which I know to be false).  I try to bypass this by downloading the update anyway, but when I run the installer it stops and says that Adobe Flash is already up to date.  It appears that I cannot uninstall Adobe Flash from Windows 10 for some reason, so that doesn't seem to be an option.  The application that I am using works on another system with the same OS etc and has 20.0.0.306 installed, so that's why I think the Flash version is relevant.  Why can't I update Adobe Flash Player from 20.0.0.272 to 20.0.0.306?

I just upgraded to Windows 10.  I have an MSI computer, Intel Core 2 duo CPU 32-bit operating system, x64-based operating system.I have played games regularly on the www.worldwinner.com website since 2008 with no problems.  Since upgrading, two of the games can't be played, I get this message: "The Price Is Right can't be played in your current browser, but the fun doesn't stop here!" This is when I am using the new Microsoft Edge browser.  I can still play those two games when I switch to the Internet Explorer browser.In both browsers when I play Flash games that require right clicking to execute moves, a menu pops up with "Settings, Global Settings, About Adobe Flash Player 20.0.0.272..."  If I can't move the mouse out of the way quickly enough and accidentally click on one of them, another menu pops up.  During the time the other menus are on the screen I cannot play the game.  I want to STOP the Adobe Flash Player menu from popping up when I right clic

Hello.I have pc with win 10 and when i try run openfm, utorrent etc.(programs that use flash player) i see: "flash player is not detected, instal and run program again.". I check edge and ie and i have included. On version 19 i had no problem with that. On browsers everything is ok. i don't know what is wrong so please help me. (sry for poor english)

Dear All,I hadn't updated anything manually these days, but still, since yeterday, I am unable to watch any videos or listen to audios on websites, let the browser be Firefox, Opera, Chrome or Internet Explorer. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the browsers in vain; uninstalled and reinstalled Shockwave, also in vain. The videos/audios don't even start playing, and I get the message that Shockwave crashed, or the plug-in doesn't respond, or the page is unresponsive. I tried <always activate>, <never activate>, <activate with permission> in Chrome and Firefox, but the problem persists, so I didn't continue with the other browsers.No virus was found on the computer.I have no idea what to do, could you, please, be so kind as to help me solve this? I can not install it because they say it is already installed. Many web sites aren't opening. I tried to restore my pc and it didn't work.

my problem is with adobe flash player when trying to watch tv on my computer using TWCTV. I can get video but not sound. However I can get sound on Netflix and on you tube. I have sucsessfuly  installed windows 10 . I use internet explorer 11. the flash player shows I have the latest version installed.

when I try to play criminal case on facebook, it says I need Adobe flashplayer 11.1 or greater! I have windows 10, but I have the latest, updated version of flashplayer, it is enabled and all the "help/how to stuff is enabled, turned on and whatever. Why does it still say I need it? This just started today, haven't had a problem until now?

When playing a game it disappears. How do I recover?

How do I get rid of this message? Clicking Allow or Deny does not get rid of it. It also can't be moved and it sits right on top of the video, making the Flash Player completely useless. Thanks for any help.

I am trying to watch a video. Whenever I play the video, the Flash "Local Storage" dialog pops up, and stays in the middle of my video. There is no way to click it or dismiss it.If I click on the dialog, the video pauses. If I click it again, the video starts up again. There is no way to watch the video without this dialog.How do I get rid of this?
