I have a new HP computer. It has Microsoft Edge. It will not enable adobe flash player even though I have turned it on and restarted my browser, refreshed my page. I have done it several times. Please help. Thank you

I've done basic research on the internet and in these forums, contacted Windows support, but still no decent answers.Microsoft says uninstall and reinstall.Adobe site offers no real help.  "Flash is embedded in Edge.  Just turn it on!"  First, you'll need to test the player with this button.  Wait... Hi,I'm running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 on a Macbook Pro.I've got Adobe Flash Version 20.0.0.228 with NPAPI Plug-in version 20.0.0.235 and PPAPI Plug-in version 20.0.0.228 installed.I use Google Chrome as my browser, but this error only appears when I am using the Vuze bittorrent client application. It has only started happening in the last week or so. Before that everything was running fine.This is the error message that appears while Vuze is open:It will appear for only a second or two before disappearing. After that, if I click on any window in Vuze, all Vuze windows suddenly begin flashing and I am unable to click away to any other application and I have to force quit Vuze.I have tried adding both /about/blank and cdn-static.liverail.com to my allowed sites in the Adobe Flash Global Security Settings, yet the error continues to occur. Any idea what's going on and/or how I can override Adobe Flash Player's security settings? Any help would be appreciated.Cheers!

All steps of the Microsoft Edge menu seem to work and the "use flash player" switch is ON but still "Test Flash Player" results in message that says "Flash Player is not installed or not enabled"When I try to download updated flash player as a result of instruction in a game window, a message tells me that download of flash player is not required because it is included as part of Windows 10 Microsoft Edge. But as stated in question above  it does not work.

When trying to play a game called papa pear a pop-up comes up and said I don't have flash player when I check I have it installed. I have went over all the steps several times. and the game still show adobe flash player. help

I decided to separate my issue since mine doesn't involve Facebook games.Chrome version: 46.0.2490.80 mFlash version: 19.0.0.226 (PPAPI)Laptop specs: ASUS running Windows 10 HomeScreen res: 1920x1080Graphics: NVidia GEForce 840mIntel i7 5500-U, x64Here's the main deal: As you can imagine, I play flash games on many different sites such as Armor Games, Kongregate, Pastel Games, etc. For most games on my old Windows Vista (which didn't have any fancy graphics integration, ran 1600x900p, but then again I'm not exactly sure how Flash would affect any of that anyway) and most flash games, BOTH in Chrome and in local downloaded .exe files. Following the recent changes to the distribution setup I cannot access and download the latest Flash Player versions via either the new distribution link (effective 8th Dec 2015!) or my existing link to the "distribution4" file location.Currently the new distribution link seems to be directing me to the Distribution License signup page.Can you offer any advice on how I can access and download a copy of the 20.0.0.228 files as per the adobe security alert APSB15-32?

I am the SCCM admin for our company.  I need to have regular updates to be sure our systems are not vulnerable.  Yet each time I need to update the Adobe software I have to jump through hoops just to get the install.  Anyone have an option where this is not so dang tedious to accomplish?  Its already tough enough to build any consistent package for Adobe products, why the hell would they make downloading  the updates for their free software?

Why does Flash Player only notify of updates when the computer reboots? I do work for BONIC http://boinc.berkeley.edu/so my system runs a lot.

I am getting very frustrated with this and have tried every solution out there. I am guessing this is a Microsoft issue with Windows 10. But I can not use flash player on my computer. It doesn't matter which browser I use. I have restarted the computer, reinstalled/updated etc. Any solutions out there not listed in the help section- other than complain to Microsoft?

I don't know if this is the right place to go to ask, but I don't know what's causing the problem.  Any video I watch (on YouTube, Facebook, etc) has no color, with the exception of blue and purple.  This is an odd glitch, and it is not just a problem exclusive to Google Chrome (the browser I use), it also occurs on Windows Movie Maker, and any videos saved on Movie Maker are permanently given this effect.  Any help would be appreciated, and again, I'm not sure if Flash Player is the actual cause of the problem.

I have been trying to enable Adobe Flash Player 20 PPAPI , I have Chrome as a browser. The instructions to enable flash player has me type in the address bar chrome://plugins. The next screen lists the flash player 20.0.0.228 as well a chrome pdf viewer, widevine content decryption module and native client. Each one has a disable button and when you click on the button it now says enable. When I click on enable each of these now say PPAPI out of process. I have tried enabling and disabling them. Does anyone know the correct order ???? All of these plugins are PPAPI.   Please help me.

Flash player doesnt work as he have too

Good morning, I am trying to Install/Update flash for one of my technicians computer. I have never had a problem downloading flash until now for some strange reason. When I download it goes to the appropriate steps of 'run' and asks if I want to do updates which I choose yes. It starts downloading and almost immediately a message pops up saying the ActiveX control for Flash Player could not be registered. I am using Windows 7 and went to tools and tried with activex selected and disabled and will still get the same error. I have tried multiple things and still no luck. I would just use Chrome since it is installed for that but the website we use for work does not work unless its on Explorer. Also, I went and checked my addons and it it is enabled but the publisher is 'not available'. Thanks for the help.

Hello to all I write because I have a problem with my Adobe Flash Player Force majeure had to install Zone Alarms I noticed that he stuck right in my adobe flash preventing me every installation or upgrade I would like to reinstall it, but I can already tried to remove it with the road application specific .exe (but does not solve my problem) I tried with the manual removal of the folders on your computer, but after you start the download and el 'installation I get this message. "Adobe Flash Player Initialization error of the 'application' and the only option I offer to finish the installation program What can I do? Hi,since yesterday each time I try to accsess a flash game exe (typical click-and-hit)  I only get a White Screen after the game opened. It worked just fine all the time before.  I first assumed the problem being the exe itself, but after various attempts (reinstalling etc.) it became clear that the problem isn´t the game itself.  Assuming it might be a bug due to a reccent update I installed it on an old pc with XP and manged to run it only to find out that the same problem surfaced after I shut the old pc down and turned it on again, which left me puzzled since as I said I assumed it might be a bug to a reccent bug.So my question now is: Why did a flash exe that worked all the time before just displays a white screen now and is there a way to fix it?

I keep getting the message 'Adobe Flash plug-in is disabled or you have an old version installed.. To start this assessment you need Flash plug-in 9 (or above)'. I am not sure what to do. I have Windows 8 and the adobe version 20.0.0.228 Shockwave Flash Object ActiveX Control which is enabled. I have disabled the ActiveX filtering. I am not sure what else I am meant to do?Thanks

I want to be able to select a playback devive for Flash Player under Win 10. I do not want to rely on the default device defined under OS for Win 10I note this has been raised before on this forum, but there seems to be no postings since 2013Is there any progress here?
