Fresco

My computer died in the middle of working on a piece. When I got everything started back up, my background and line work and some of my color layers were gone. These layers had all previously been saved. When fresco attempted to "recover" my file all of that was gone and only like 5 of my most recent layers were there that had not been previously saved. I've looked in the cloud archive and the only version on my file that is there is the one thats messed up. This has happened to me twice now (once on a previous piece). I don't understand why all of the stuff I actively saved is gone and everything that I didn't save at all is here. Is there a way for me to access a different version of the file? Like the save before this one? I don't mind losing progress I didn't save, I do mind losing progress that I did save multiple times.

I have exported an image from fresco giving it a name. I would like to bring in the png into another app on my iPad for further processing. I am not using iCloud. Where does that file reside. I cannot find it anywhere...not in my photos or file system.

Getting the watercolour paper background: I'm aware of how to set custom sizes and add my own layers of watercolour paper to my images to give it an effect of water colour paper. Was wondering if I could set up custom templates so that these choices could be automated? Getting the watercolour paper edge effect:In photoshop you can change the canvas size after you've completed any work and it would adjust all layers accordingly. This was often a way to produce a faux matte frame for me. I was hoping to get the same effect on fresco vs applying the changes to the layers individually after the fact. last random question/bug here: I've noticed if I use the Apple Pencil tap function for the eraser (settings function in the app), when I tap to get back to the brushes it defaults to another brush, noticed this with the addition of the new eraser options.   

My iPad screen recently broke and not all of my files---- I assumed synced on my creative cloud / documents so I can't see my recent drawing that I did on fresco and  I can't back up files to my Mac because iTunes requires me to unlock my iPad which is broken.... is there any way I can access my recent drawing?? 

I can't open Fresco on my desktop because my graphics card is not compatible (AMD RX580). Looking at the sytem requirements I see that only Nvidia and Intel GPUs are supported!

I'm paying for the creative cloud membership nowadays and it's really disappointing I cannot use fresco on pc. It feels for me as a customer that the company is seeing pc users as not equals.Please change the situation I'm not going to purchase a tablet, I'm using a cintiq.  I hope it would be available soon, and not far from now. 

It seems like the program could be compatible because of the stylus aspects of the App - but I notice that only iPads, Surface Pros and Mobile Wacom devices are listed.  I'd love to use this on my desktop PC with my Wacom Cintiq...

I'm on Fresco version 1.2 (on Windows) and thought that the straight edge tool had been released. However, I don't see it in the lower right/left of the app. Is my Fresco bugged or has the feature not yet released?

I cant find a smudge tool. All raster graphic settsoftware use to have them, Is this a feauture in future versions?   I also miss brush settings for smearing smudging /blending in the pixel brushes. I want have control over how strokes affecting the colours under that stroke, like smearing , moving or dissolving colour from. As it is now - all pixel brushes acts like glazing brushes. Pretty static.

When the next Update with the new features is going to be released for A.Fresco on IPad?Clipping masks, smudging tool are so just needed to make this app great.

Hi, I have various works I wanted to post timelaspes as but apparently they don't have an export as a timelaspe option? I know my drawings started in January, so like two months ago, is this a recent update or what? Is there a way to recover timelaspe oof

Hello   Adobe Fresco is crashing on my surface studio pro 2 as soon as I try and launch the application  any ideas what the problem could be ?   (Moving to the Fresco forum from the Get Started forum by Mod JSM)

I got myself a Surface Book 2 10 days ago and had nothing but problems since. The most frustrating issue was FRESCO systematically crashing after a few minutes. Microsoft assistance and Adobe assistance tried to help, taking control of my computer for many hours.  As you will read everywhere, most people think it's Nvidia fault. Trust me, it's not. The one and only problem is... SEGURAZO-Antivirus Follow the instructions bellow to remove SEGURAZO (you have to remove all the little components) and your problems will dissapear. I have an HP all in one with touch screen. Adobe says Fresco is incompatible. Why, and will there soon be a fix for compatibility?   {Renamed by MOD}

Is there a way to save your drawings on your computer drive instead of the cloud. This would be for after i fill up the cloud storage. THX 

Hello,I've been following Fresco closely and it looks amazing! I don't have any tablets though, but instead a large drawing tablet monitor that I use on my windows PC. Will compatibility for PCs be added in the future? I'm in love with some of the live brush dynamics and workspace, so I was disappointed that I couldn't use the software. 

Hi.I see more people have trouble with the brushes, but no solution surfaces here.. I'm no a iPad pro with an applepencil- and everything works except watercolor and oil brushes! I did Get watercolor to work in the beginning, but not anymore. If I try every setting Therese is, back and forth, i sometimes Get a brushstroke or Tho, but nothing consistent. Wtf am I doing wrong?Easier with Draw and Sketch... to bad 🤨
