This is an embarrassing omission that has persisted for far too long. Every major image and video editing application on the planet - including Photoshop, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and virtually every other tool in existence - provides a simple chain-link icon to constrain proportions when resizing a canvas or frame. Premiere Pro does not. Not in Sequence Settings.The result is that any editor who needs to change their sequence dimensions while maintaining aspect ratio must stop their workflow, open a calculator, do manual arithmetic, and then type two separate values. In 2026. While paying a monthly subscription for software that Adobe markets as professional.This is not a complex feature request. It is a checkbox. A chain icon. A single constraint toggle that ties the width and height fields together so that changing one automatically updates the other. The math is trivial. The UI pattern is decades old and universally understood. Heck, you even have it when exporting the video.
Currently, Premiere Pro adds audio tracks to a sequence whenever a file with more audio tracks than the sequence contains is opened in the Source Monitor. So, say I have a sequence with four audio tracks. If I open a clip in the Source Monitor that has 8, four more tracks are automatically added to the Sequence. This is behavior is fine for the auto-generation of NEW sequences, but frustrating in that it modifies an existing sequence with no user input whatsoever. The functionality for adding tracks, as well as source patching and track targeting, works fine, and this behavior is more of a bug than a feature.
Hello. I'd like to see a master key to assign effects OR a way to map effects and presets to the keyboard using the Keyboard Shortcut tool. I've submitted this request before having come from Final Cut Pro and it was a huuuuuge time saver for me in the editing process as I used this feature on FCP multiple multiple times on every single edit I did, every day, and I can't imagine others would not have the same reason for using it as me and I likely very frustrated at how long it takes to apply the Warp Stabiliser effect, for example, to a clip or a series of clips. This is a very consistent task that I do in every edit and many many times in each edit usually. I'm sure I'm not the only person who is constantly adding warp stabiliser to shots by dragging the thing onto every clip and then setting the smoothness percentage. I can't even manage to just select every clip I want to throw the stabiliser on to and then copy paste a version of the effect that I've set the smoothness percentage for. This can't be unusual. Any clip shot handheld with a dslr will need this, just about, if you want to get rid of that minor jitter. Many dslr users out there you reckon..?I would love to see this, it is a massive massive time saver and I'm confident many many editors would need this feature for the same reason.I also would love to see functionality so that when you stop your playhead over a clip during playback or by moving the playhead that it automatically selects that clip so that it's settings are ready to play with in the effect controls window. This seems so basic common sense to me to me and I'm trying not to get angry because I know you are good people in there, but it seems some mind numbingly obvious to me as an editor that you would want the clip that you are now looking at to be the one that is selected and presenting it parameters in the effect controls window. FCP did this automatically. PP will do this when the Lumetri Colour window is open...why not for Effect Controls??Thank you, I appreciate you listening to my rant. We have multiple in-house tools that utilize the python API and automate portions of the texturing or setup process. Being able to import splines generated from Maya into Painter to be used for path/ribbon tools would allow for a lot of powerful additions to our toolset. A simple example would be generating a spline from the intersection of metal pieces in Maya and then bringing it into Painter for automatic weld seams with the ribbon tool.
Please find a way to compact the Puppet Pin animation tracks.It’s quite roomy to have two lines for each Pin.Puppet animations often require a lot of pins, and most of the time, only position is animated. There is currently no way to only show the position tracks of the Pins, it always comes with the ‘Puppet Pin’ header, which is useless.

Is there a way to align layers in photoshop on the iPad? Seems like there should be as it is impossible to Center anything.
Once in a while, I need a ‘pixel copy’ of a layer to use in an effect. CC Composite promises to do something alike, but, unfortunately, it does not work when a layer does not match the comp size.What I am looking for is a plugin that copies the exact ‘output’ of a layer, as if it were soloed - RGBA, all pixels, comp size, no transformations. Kind of like how Track Mattes work for alpha and luma. Such an effect would open a world of possibilities - almost like node based compositing.
Lightroom on iOS has an option to "Enable Lens Corrections," but has no provision to select a specific profile. Please add this capability, which is already on Lightroom for Web, as well as the Desktop and Classic applications. Lightroom for Web is a partial workaround, but is not useful if you are traveling and don't have a sufficient connection to be able to sync your photos to the web. This became critical for me as I was struggling with this issue, for which the workaround for a faulty new lens profile was to change to an earlier version of the lens profile: Lens Correction Profile for Canon RF24-240 exhibits edge artifacts This would also be helpful for several other cases where lens profiles are incorrectly applied, or there are other profiles that may work better. For example, iPhone 12 wide angle back camera, DJI Mavic 2 Pro, and some recent GoPro cameras. Heyyy, I was wondering if it would be possible for AE to consider introducing a Commander feature. This feature could function like a command line, allowing users to easily access tools, effects, plugins, shapes, layer styles, scripts, and essentially everything in AE. It's similar to the convenience of Cmd + C in Cinema 4D (please take a look at the attached screenshot). Currently, I'm using FX Console, which is helpful but it's got its limits. I've noticed the search tool under the Help window, which is great, but I was wondering if there could be a shortcut to streamline the process. Currently RAM Preview has two playback options – either it loops, or it doesn’t.It would be great to also have the option to ping pong (play to the end of the preview, then reverse playback and return to the first frame, then play forwards as normal again, ping ponging back and forth). This is particularly useful for animation workflows, but also applicable to VFX workflows as well.
I work for a government agency that uses an Enterprise Creative Cloud plan for a workforce of over 1,000 employees. With the recent rollout of third-party AI models across Adobe products, I noticed that attempting to use any model other than Firefly results in the following message: “Your system administrator isn't allowing access to this feature right now” (see attached screenshot below) Third Party AI model limitation within Lightroom attempting to use Topaz Labs generative upscale.After contacting our IT department, I learned that our agency has disabled access to all third-party AI models within Adobe. However, when I asked whether access could be enabled for a specific, pre-approved model (in this case, Google Gemini / Nano Banana), I was told this was not possible. According to our IT team, Adobe’s current enterprise controls only allow all-or-nothing access to third-party AI models — meaning administrators must either enable access to all external models or disable them entirely. This limitation makes it difficult for large organizations with strict security policies to adopt Adobe’s new AI integrations. Feature Request:Please allow Enterprise Creative Cloud administrators to manage third-party AI access with more granular controls, including: • Enabling or disabling specific AI models individually (e.g., allow Gemini but not others)• Granting access on a user-by-user or group basis This level of administrative control would make it significantly easier for enterprise and government organizations to safely adopt Adobe’s expanding AI ecosystem.
I'm sure this has been posted before on here, but for visibility and emphasis how does AE not have a relinking system like Premiere after 10+ years?? I'm working on a particular project where despite all the assets being scattered across mutliple folders on a server, AE insists as relinking one by one. Most times I don't have this issue as it finds them on it's own, but for whatever reason it's going very slow, manually relinking file by file. This is on a collected project. Regardless of the reason or situation, it wouldn't be an issue if we had a relinking system like Premiere's file manager for footage. Is there some technical reason Adobe hasn't addressed or improved such an important function on large AE projects after a decade??

I often need to copy text out of screenshots, scans, and flattened comps. On my phone I can long-press to select text, but in Photoshop I have to leave the app (e.g., Acrobat or third-party tools) just to OCR. Please add built-in OCR so I can:• Drag-select text directly on the canvas and copy/paste it.• Convert recognized text to editable Type layers (preserving font/size when possible, or at least positioning).• Batch OCR a folder / current document’s layers via Actions/Scripting.• Choose language packs; work offline; keep data local for privacy.This would save huge time for designers doing localization, accessibility, and quick content edits, and would keep the workflow inside Photoshop.
