P: Support for searching, sorting, and filtering by all available metadata fieldsOpen for Voting

As we are about to hit the new year (2025) and in light of the recent post by ADOBE describing their roadmap for productivity improvements - here are five somewhat more complex feature requests that would improve my productivity   1. There are arbitrary situations all through Lightroom where you can search, sort and filter the metadata information - but they are limited and not consistent-nor do they provide the capability to access all the different metadata tags. While this keeps the options simpler, I often run into situations where I am using a lot of the metadata fields (I run a major photo competition) and I am unable to search/sort/filter on many of the fields I have used. While many people might not need this, consider implementing a Settings/Preference that would widely expand the metadata fields for Grid Sort, Filtering, Smart Collections etc.  For example, if I am trying to search for "Toronto" then references to it pop up wherever it is used and not in the specific field I am looking for, eg. location="Toronto Camera Club".  Because we can't easily create our own, genuine metadata fields, we often resort to putting specific data into existing fields that is not necessarily the intended use of that field - but it's our best option; then we are constrained in trying to find images corresponding to that field.  So, in summary the suggestion is to open LrC's database capabilities in searching, sorting, automatic capationing in slideshows, etc.  In essence, if a metadata field exists, then make it universally available everywhere you can access metadata fields.   2. The Identity Plate in the print module is often used to overlay simple text onto a print image.  But it is difficult to edit that inside LrC. People resort to writing more complex text with bold/italic/font-choice etc in another app (e.g. word, pages, any RTF editor) and copying/pasting that to the Identity Field to print it.  Why not just expand the existing Identity Plate editor in the print module to provide some simple editing - showing more than one line.   3. The Slide Show module provides access to some metadata fields - similarily add the capability to access metafields inside the Watermark editor so metadata information could be automatically overlayed on exported photos.   4. It's 2025 folks, could we have the capability to open multiple instances of the Library folder/Collection sidebar to make file management easier for those with lots of folders - ie: drag and drop between the panels for moving, adding to collections, etc.   5. Print Module, Custom Layout - guidelines and snap to guidelines, zoomable view   JC MacOs 15.2 Sequoia, Mac Studio M1-Ultra 64gb/2TB

Filter by multiple tracks in Graphics panel viewOpen for Voting

Hi all, My issue is to do with the Graphics Panel to review and amend text titles including MOGRTs. I would like to be able to filter multiple tracks. I use transitions by Mister Horse (which are flipping excellent FYI) which show in the graphics panel and flood the whole view ("If the transition isn't working..."). I can filter by one track at a time to make text corrections but often my text titles need to be split across multiple tracks.  See screenshots attached and explanations: "Ben Premiere Graphics panel 1 - All tracks.jpg"This shows my Workspace and the playhead over a single text title 'Place suction hose into paint'.  You can see 'All tracks' is selected in the Filter option in the Graphics panel and you can see all the fluff from Mister Horse. "Ben Premiere Graphics panel 1 - Track V4.jpg"This shows another section of the video where there are three MOGRTs stacked but the Filter is set to V4 in the Graphics Panel and thus I can only amend the text in the MOGRT on V4. My idea would be to move all the MH🐴 transitions to a different layer and then have my titles on a specific set of layers which I could then filter in the Graphics Panel.  I have tried Nesting to get them on one layer but this does not seem to  work - the text in the nested sequence does not show in the Graphics panel. Is there another workaround? I would rather not use Nesting as I want the text easily accessible in the Sequence. I really hope this all makes sense. I have tried to include as much detail as possible without overwhelming! Thanks everyone. Kind regards,Ben

Hi Adobe team, I’m a long-time Premiere Pro user. I’d like to share a few issues and suggestions tOpen for Voting

 1. Reveal in Project – Inconsistent Panel BehaviorWhen using multiple project panels, the “Reveal in Project” function often highlights the clip in a random or previously active panel, not the one I originally opened the clip from.It would be great if the clip always appeared in the same panel it was first accessed from.   2. Trim Edit Mode – Fullscreen OptionI’d love to see a fullscreen trim edit mode, similar to what Final Cut Pro 7 offered. The current layout feels too restricted for fine trimming work.   3. Track Lock Shortcut (Per Track)There’s currently no shortcut to lock/unlock individual timeline tracks.A simple keyboard shortcut for this would speed up track-specific editing significantly.   4. Merged Clip – Manual Sync AdjustmentIf a merged clip is out of sync, there’s no way to manually slip the audio or video inside it.It would help a lot to have manual sync adjustment inside merged clips — a flexibility Final Cut Pro 7 used to offer.   5. “Make Independent Clip” FeatureI often want to duplicate a clip in the timeline and edit it independently without affecting other instances.A “Make Independent Clip” function would allow for this kind of non-destructive editing.   Thanks for listening, and I hope some of these ideas can be considered in future updates!
