Right now the default is Background and when working with batch of photos and we need to crop-extend the image edges it requires repetetive task of changing fill type. Not only that. After chenging the fill type, arrow keystrokes don't move the crop grid/frame anymore but they navigate between the fill type. Please add option to set default Fill as:- Background- Content Aware- Generative (additionally with no pop-up text field when we don't want to add anything extra).Thanks.
Why does reverb only trail off for the length of a clip? Because that's not how reverb actually works anywa y - like you can't have a reverb that sounds natural if it abruptly stops at the same time as the audio source. It's bad enough that this is how it works when applied to a track, but it does the same thing when you send to a submix, so essentially the only way to mix audio in Premiere Pro is to use riduclous workarounds. Nothing else does this. Please make reverb workable.
In the latest version of premiere pro clip marker label names are now cut off when you trim a selected layer. This is most obvious if you zoom into the timeline [see attached] and attempt to do detailed work. When you zoom back out the label name then rolls back out. This creates a very annoying workflow issue for anyone working with long lable names. If the name is longer than the length of the clip on the timeline when zoomed out you can't read it. If you zoom in as in previous versions [like v.2024] to see what it should say you can now [v.2025] only see a blank label. Obviously if I reveal each individual clip in the source bin I can see what it says. However, I scan through tons of clips on a timeline and the idea that the best way now is to open each one, one by one is a massive time waste. Please allow me to undo this new UI feature and allow label names to remain static and therefore readable when I zoom in and scrub through. Thank you!
Portuguese from Portugal is diferente from Brazilian portuguese.Firefly translation simply uses a voice recorded from a portuguese native speaker but the translated text is clearly brazilian portuguese.Even the demo video has a man speaking brazilian portuguese with an european portuguese accent.
Hi Adobe team,I’d like to suggest an improvement for Substance 3D Painter that would help greatly with performance and usability in complex projects.Currently, when you add a new Fill Layer, it is immediately applied across the entire mesh. This triggers material calculations on all visible UDIMs, which can significantly slow down the software—especially in large projects where the layer is only intended to be used in a specific area.To address this, I suggest either:Adding a secondary button next to the existing "Add Fill Layer" option that creates a Fill Layer with a black mask by default.Or allowing users to define a default Fill Layer behavior in Preferences, including the option to automatically apply a black mask upon creation. This would prevent unnecessary material evaluations and give artists more control and efficiency, particularly when dealing with complex stacks or heavy assets. Thanks for your consideration!
Similar to Viewport > Show Entire Mesh (F), may we have Show Entire Texture (Alt+F).This functionality would perform the same "zoom fo fill window and center" function that Show Entire Mesh does, but using only the for the mesh geometry that is associated with the currently-selected item in the texture set list. Simply: When I'm working on a specific texture set for a specific bit of geometry, it would be nice to press a button and zoom-to-frame it.
On the Export tab, the Basic Video Settings feature Match Source also changes the next section, the Encoding Settings. This may be misleading to the user, since the button is under the Basic Video Settings. Unless first clicking on the button, then modifying the Encoding Settings according to this article... https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/video/hub/guides/best-export-settings-for-premiere-pro.html In addition, the Save Preset feature doesn't have the option to save the current preset after modifying, the user has to type in the whole name of the preset again. Thanks.
It is too rough to double or halve the magnification with a single zoom decision. It should be at least √2x or √√2x. ( Best would be for the user to be change-able this factor, or for it to be change-able scripting. )These values would make zooming smoother while maintaining the current 100% -> 200% -> 400% movement.
Hey community! I have the feeling that this did work 2 years back, maybe I have a bug, but if I do, it is there for a long time already. When I am searching something (not the AI search, which is great! but useless for this) like sequences, nested files, especially things that are created within a project, it does not show me results with only single letters. I have to type whole words/file names. But I have one PrProject file for each client, over time there are so many sequences that I cannot remember all of them perfectly. But searching for half the name ends up withouth any results.WHY? How can I change this, if possible, or can we get that feature - which is really nothing special. I only want to see all results that have the letter combination I am searching for somewhere in its name. Appreciate it, thanks in advance!
I have a lot of projects where I need to group assets and create smart materials. I also need to name them in a way that helps me remember which project they belong to. Ideally, I’d like to create a folder for each project and put the smart materials inside, so they’re not scattered everywhere.
As the title suggests - a 2D Warp but as an affect. The lack of a 2D warp feels like there's a very necessary tool missing from Substance Painter. Other tools like Photoshop and After Effects include multiple options for this, the most standout being After Effect's RESHAPE plugin, which works almost exactly how I'd imagine a warp should work. Please see the image for an example.
Can you bring back the highlight color of active icons to BLUE instead of white? I mean how simple can that be, and how easily you like to screw things around? Also, in the Audio workspace, the highlighted parameters were easily noticed with blue highlights, but now they are white! Lastly, the dissolve highlight color area is also unnoticeable now thanks to the genius who decided to change it from a noticeable color like blue to a white border. Keep making Premiere worse than before; good job.
Sometimes it comes in handy to make the stabilazation (PSR mode) calculated by the Warp Stabilizer permanent by converting it to keyframes (for PSR data). Unfurtunately, Warp Stabilzer does not offer this. Please add a button to bake the motion.
1. Scan real-world textures (like fabric, wood, rust, or stone) and have Adobe's Al enhance, tile seamlessly, or even generate variations of the texture.2. Convert 2D textures into 3D PBR materials (Physically Based Rendering) for use in Adobe Substance 3D, Dimension, or other 3D software.3. Apply Al upscaling to low-res textures without losing detail.4. Generate procedural textures based on simple sketches (e.g., draw a rough pattern, and Al refines it into a usable texture).
AI tools are now common in Lightroom, such as Masking and Healing - what if there was a feature available in the crop and rotate menu that allowed the crop region to expand outside the boundaries of the original photos frame, and the blank areas are then filled in with a Healing AI. See image below. This could give photographers more flexibility in framing images, especially if the subject takes up majority of th original frame. It would obviously only work well on low detail areas such as sky or foreground.
It is exceptionally frustrating that Adobe are so quick to remove older versions of their software from the Creative Cloud app.22.6.4 was, for many I'm guessing, the most stable version of Premiere Pro that has been available for some years.Yet only 12/13 months after its release, they removed access to it.Despite many conversations with Adobe Help desk, I just keep hearing that they can't provide a download for 22.6.4. However they CAN give me a link to 22.0.Why they would be able to provide an unpatched version of 22, but not the most patched version is utterly beyond me.They claim they don't have it anymore and can't provide it. Which is bonkers for a company that literally makes and distributes software with auto save and version control. Where is Adobe's OWN version control?I do understand that providing support for older versions is difficult, but they could easily let us download them with a pop up warning saying they don't provide technical support for this version any more.Honestly, I don't need many of the new features from 23 onwards. They are nice to haves, but not vital. Having a stable version of PrPro IS vital to getting work done though. And to pull a stable version from your paying customers is just going to drive them away.Now... time to go learn Resolve.
I use Bridge during online order sessions with my clients. I use Filmstrip when comparing similar images. Several versions ago, I was able to change the rating on one image in Filmstrip without affecting the other images. Can we please get that function back? Thank you!
Firstly, the new adpative profiles are great... but where (for me) they fall down is that they still use Adobe's look up table(s) for colours. I have calibrated colours profiles for my camera, so what would be great would be some way in which this could be combined, equally with some of the off the shelf profiles that comes with LrC too e.g. being able to use one of the vintage profiles (for the LUT) but still using Adaptive for the balancing of the histogram.
The first suggestion is to create a graphic without coloring using tools. Then the shape layer of the graphic above is filled with colors, but it itself has no effect. I hope it can be filled with colors.Secondly, it is recommended to use tools to create a colored graphic. Then click on the fill in the upper left corner to color it, but the graphic will not produce a preview with the color selection. I hope it can generate a preview.
Hello Adobe Team and Community, I would like to kindly request the addition of Greek language support in Adobe’s AI-powered tools, specifically for: Automatic transcription and subtitle generation Translation of subtitles into Greek Voice translation and voiceover features (e.g. text-to-speech or dubbing in Greek) Greek is spoken by millions of people worldwide and is a vital language for creators in Greece and the Greek diaspora. Adding Greek would allow many professionals, educators, and content creators to better serve their audiences using Adobe’s powerful tools. I was advised by Adobe Customer Service to submit this request here so the development team can consider it. I hope the community will support this too! Thank you for your consideration!
Hi there, I'm a modestly experienced Adobe Premiere user with about 20 YouTube videos under my belt, using Version 25.2.3 (Build 4) on a Mac (12.7.6 Monterey), and would love a recommendation/critique of this one thing about my workflow that annoys me: adding downloaded files to the project. Here's what I am doing:1. download a file into my Downloads folder (I'm on a Mac)2. I don't want to leave all my project files in the Downloads folder so I drag the downloaded file to another folder that is setup for my project.3. Then I have to drag the file from my project folder into the correct folder in the Premiere project window to keep it organized. (if I just drag the file onto the timeline it copies the file to the root directory in the projcet window, which I dont want). This is too many steps, and here's what I've love to be able to do in a perfect world: download a file, then drag it directly into my timeline and have the file be automatically copied to the project folder (in Finder) and have it be placed automatically in the folder of my choice within Premiere. Is it possible to set this up to do what I'd like? Or, am I just totally barking up the wrong tree and there is a completely different, more efficient way to do this?thanks all!-c
The new dynamic waveform feature makes me want to stab my own eyes out. I hate it so so so much. BUT I GET IT. Some people might like it. And I know I can turn it off, but that disables it for BOTH gain changes (which used to change the waveform) and volume keyframes (which didn't used to change the waveform). If you're going to introduce a new feature YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME THE ABILITY TO SWITCH BACK TO EXACTLY HOW IT OPERATED BEFORE. This isn't complicated, Adobe. Every new feature needs to come with a switch that lets you continue to work the way you've always worked.
Hello,This must be a bug after all? When opening a Project, the focus should be on the Timeline panel by default, instead of the empty Effects Controls panel, so that the user can press the Spacebar to start the playback as expected. Premiere 2025 version 25.2.1 (Build2) Mac Os Ventura Thanks.
