Lightroom Classic

Hi, among several thousand images that I have imported into LR (NEF => .dng) several single files are corrupted. LR cannot open them. The NEF files are ok, imported . dng-files are corrupted. File names and Metadata are ok, the development protocol is greyed.How can I repair the corrupted files?Is there any program to find single corrupted files among thousands of images?Thanks!Robert, ViennaWindows 10 Prof, latest version, LR Classic latest vesion

Has anyone with a laptop running the new Intel Core Ultra 7 155H or 9 185H chips checked how lightroom performs on these new chips and can their integrated ARC graphics handle any GPU acceleration tasks in LR? Or it that something I still need a dedicated GPU for? Been using lightroom on iPad OS and Android and while it works, the workflow is kind of clunky, slow and lacks features that the desktop lightroom programs have (like the AI Denoise feature) and lightroom moible doesn't seem to reconizse the image stacks I made on the desktop versions. So I've been considering getting a laptop for photo editing (among other things) and would like to know if the if those new Core Ultra chips and their Integrated ARC Graphics are a good fit and and handle at least some of the GPU accerated tasks that would normually be offloaded to a battery sucking GPU.

Hi, I just upgraded to Ventura on a new MacStudio. I'm printing with the latest Canon driver for my older Pixa Pro 100. When printing from Lightroom Classic, I am unable to select Color Sync, the option is greyed out, although I can select a custom profile in the Lightroom printer's menu. First print was totally off. Help!

Hi - Lightroom Classic crashing on the library module after a few seconds to a few minutes use. Just installed v14.2 on Windows 11 hoping it would fix the same issue which was also affecting my previous install making it unusable. I've sent crash reports. Can anyone help?

i regular use sync across different images, but if i want to copy over general adjustments from mask to mask with the level of detail and individual slider control in the sync dialog box that pops up when syncing different images, is that possible? thanks

Lightroom Classic frequently crashes during basic photo operations, particularly when cropping or resizing images. This issue occurs almost daily, despite having a computer that meets and exceeds Adobe’s recommended system requirements for Lightroom’s normal operation. I'm running Lightroom Classic 14.1.1 (currently the latest version) on a Mac with the latest OS, and I've been having recurring issues with the Develop settings. Every time I import new photos, the develop icon on the thumnail no longer appears, and the Copy/Paste develop settings option is grayed out completely.Sometimes I can go back and see that the settings will still copy/paste on previous imports, sometimes not. And sometimes *certain* photos in the new import will allow me to copy or paste develop settings, but sometimes none of them work. I've restarted LR and reset preferences so many times I've lost count, and doing so does address the issue—but only temporarily. However, doing this every time I have new photos wastes a big chunk of my work time with every new edit session, which is getting extremely frustrating.I've read every "fix" on this thread that I can find, but not one of them actually *fixes* the problem for good. I'm not sure if this is a Blurb issue or Adobe.  I have posted a similar question on Blurb's support site. Creating a Magazine with 240 pages.  Blurb says this is the limit for a Magazine.  While creating this magazine ( and have saved it) it will let me put 240 pages in the magazine.  But, once I start adding images to pages greater than 215, then for whatever reason close LrC, then later launch LrC and go back to the Book module there are only 215 pages in the magazine. The images that were placed on pages greater than 215 indicate they have been used on a page, but those pages no longer exist.I thought I had messed something up, so to get rid of the indicator that they have been used in the book I had to remove those images from the collection and then re-add them.  Otherwise if I added pages after 215 and used them again they would indicate they where used on two pages.  I then added more pages and images.  But if I close LrC and come ba

HelloI faced a problem that my video did not import and Lightroom and Adobe Bridge both failed and stalled during import...The import file format was 3840x2160 with 30p and the lenght was about 1 min.Using the nikon file transfer software copied the file without a problem.I also tried a much shorter video of about 10 second and lR and Bridge could import that file (that was to check if maybe the fileformat .MOV or the video format was the culprit.Now after several tests I can say it is the adobe software which failed.I do have had the latest version of the adobe suite updated automatically by the internet.   The imported file (using nikon file transfer) could be opened in adobe premiere pro.. no issue and the fileand format was not corrupt.   Mac: 15.3.1 (24D70) Lightroom Classic 14.1.1. I have installed Lightroom Classic on my new desktop but it is not recognising my catalogue which is on an external drive. The catalogue works on my laptop. Any suggestions please? I am working in windows 11.

Hi! I'm a photographer and I'm experiencing an issue with Lightroom Classic. When I import my pictures, Lightroom automatically overexposes the images. What steps should I take to fix this problem?

In latest LRC when exporting Raw files to PS as normal or as Smart object new Reflection removal does not work in PS. (OM sys ORF)Yet if I open same ORF file direct to PS it opens in Camera Raw and the reflection removam works fine.Is this generally known, a bug, or just me?Advice/comment pleaseJohn(Mac Ventura)

I am on a 27 inch Mac running High Sierra. I have a subscription to Adobe for LightRoom and Photoshop. Both are up to-date. Can some please tell me how I can activate the comments area in the Metadata area on the right side of the panel at the very bottom of Library panel.I want to add a few comments for the photo and cannot seem to activate it to add comments. Below the Comments panel, it says “Comments not supported here” Thanks for your help….Tunney

Has anyone's Lightroom ever done this? I don't know why or how to get it off. I normally close the app and try reopening but it normally stays for some time and randomly goes away after closing and reopening multiple times.   I'm using version 14.1

I keep all my Lightroom Classic files on an external drive. Today when I opened LrC, it recognized some, but not all of the directories on my external drive. I keep folders by year and the Library module of LrC only sees up to the year 2020, but the drive has folders all the way to 2025.  Any ideas on why this would happen?  I did reset my Windows and had to reinstall all the Adobe apps recently. Would that be a part of it? Thanks in advance. 

Hey, I’ve been using the AI noise reduction feature for weeks without any problems, but starting today it’s no longer available. I only get a message saying: “Noise Reduction is currently not supported for this format.”I haven’t changed my computer or camera, and there’s no option to update to a newer version of Lightroom either.I’m using a MacBook Pro with Lightroom Classic version 14.2, and I’ve made sure the photos are in RAW format (.CR2 — I shoot with a Canon).  

After editing images imported from camera memory card, when is it safe, and how do I eject the card?TY

I have created a new Calogue as the old was not any longer usable.Everithing went OK, but the name of the folder are listing a question mark (see screenshot)the file are accessible but still I am concerned that something could be wrong.Any suggestions?angelo bosoni 

Pretty simple.  Lightroom hasn't been saving my xmp files, even though box is checked.  I import cr2 files, edit them and archive them.  I have way too many files to keep them in the catalog, they have to be archived.  It's basically wiping out all my edits.  Please don't ask me questions, just solutions please.

Hello everyone. Last year Imagen and Neurapix have announced their AI plugins for lightroom using AI. As i read these softwares learn how you edit a photo and then apply ai profiles to next images.But they do not learn from remove tool.I shoot product photography. These products have enough <<spots>> to their surface (oil spots, scratches, etc) that i need to remove during edit.So, i am searching for a software that can learn from my edits, during of remove tool usage, and then apply these edits to similar products with different sizes.Do you know if there is such a software?Thank you.

Hi.  Does anybody know how to print edge-of-the-page crop marks using the print module?  I want to print an image that will end up 11x14 is size (with a thin border) , but I have to print it on a 13x19 page.  I hope to have 11x14 crop marks printed so I can easily trim the paper.  Thanks for any help offered.
