How can I enable others to download photos posted to LR mobile?   Thanks!

I copied a folder of images from a failing mechanical drive and the files appear intact - the right sort of file size reported etc. However Lightroom, whilst displaying thumbnails often refuses to open them, or if exported for edit in Photoshop, PS reports damaged file. A few will open in LR Develop but show sections missing. Mostly cr2 and tiff formats. Also, Fast Raw Viwer is sometimes able to open a TIFF file that PS says is damaged, and then I can sometimes successfully save it under a new name and import it into LR. But inconsistent. All this leads me to hope that these "damaged" images simply have an EOF or similar missing and are recoverable. However, Googling found a limited number of image repair programs, many being rebadged versions of Solar (?) and the trial version failed anyway! So. Has anyone any suggestions for image file repair apps that might work, hopefully free as funds are limited. Or maybe a way to manually edit such files myself in a hex editor?

When importing from LR classic into Portfolio the subtile may be shown in Portfolio, but in Béhance a subtitle has to be added manually for every picture. I see no add-in or else making it possible to have (sub)titles shown in Béhance pictures automatically with the imports from LR. So, Béhance has the opportunity to add text, but the text availble in LR is just not imported. Is that overlooked or can it be repaired?I understood Béhance is meant to feed search engines as a main purpose so this feels like a bug to me.   NBAs a nature photographer I would at least have the name of a species shown with the photo. Adding these again one-by-one although these are already in Lightroom and Portfolio is a loss of time to me. However, when titles are absent the search engines will not find the pictures whilst Portfolio does not feed into the search engines, and Béhance does. So PF does not suit my purpose to feed locatable pictures with a both artistic AND knowledgable/scientific

I built a new computer.  I loaded LR Classic and Topaz Photo AI.  Both programs work independently as expected.  On my old computer,  I was able to add Topaz Photo AI as a Plug-in to LR Classic.  When I try to do this on my new computer, I get an "error occurred while trying to load this program" message, and the plug-in does not get installed. Any suggestions?

When I plug my camera in to my laptop and import photos, I don't see any settings that I have changed. It's all defaults from when I installed Lightroom Classic. Yet, all of my photos are tinted this weird blue color! It makes me have to edit them all in Develop mode just to get it to go away. For waht it's worth, these photos look fine on the camera. It just shows that way in Lightroom. Thank you for any help you can provide! 

This is easily reproducible as I am tagging a recent shoot with 5 people.  LrC 14.2 Library tab, Loupe View - click on Draw Face Region. Since the automatic face detection misses more than half the clearly visible faces, I am going back through the 250 files and manually drawing and tagging the ones it missed. An image comes up with one face region, and I have previously corrected that "Person" so it is labeled correctly.  But there are two more people in the photo.  Steps to reproduce:1. with the draw face region setting active, draw a box around the face of an un-marked person. 2. check to make sure the new label with "?" is the active input area - about half the time, for some reason, Lightroom leaves the new area and selects the previously-existing person's name label. That's it - this is the bug.    It really slows down the workflow, and before I noticed that it was happening quite often, I had already changed the correctly-identified people to others, and

I am trying to use a 4x5 Contact Sheet to print a sheet of various photos as examples to show a gallery of my work. Is this an appropriate use of the contact sheet. I am finding that I cannot get more than one file to populate the sheet. How should I build a sheet of images for use as samples?

When I select the brush tool the brush icon appears but the overlay does not. I have 'Show Overlay' selected and have tried every other suggested approach and still nothing shows up. All other mask show overlay except for the brush tool. Please help! Im running version 12.2 on M1 MacBook Pro 

Hello, I've been considering purchasing Lightroom and used the free trial, which has since expired. However, when developing photos, the program was quite laggy on this computer, especially with AI features. When it stalled it would stall the entire device and sometimes shut down, rendering it unusable.  I am using Windows 11 and my processor is an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics, 1.80 GHz. I've noticed that this is below the system requirements (2GHz), so is this the source of my issue? Il nécessite une mise à jour pour continuer à synchroniser les photos et réaliser d’autres tâches, mais lorsque je clique pour mettre à jour, il indique que les mises à jour sont désactivées et que je dois contacter le service informatique. Cependant, quand je retourne sur Adobe Cloud, il indique que toutes les applications sont à jour et qu’aucune mise à jour n’apparaît pour Lightroom. Est-ce que quelqu’un a rencontré le même problème et trouvé une solution ?

If I keep all the Lr backups, do I also need to keep all download backups or is it a duplication? It all takes a lot of space.

I have problems with the AI-based denoising in Lightroom Classic 14.2 on Leica Q2 images.When I use the function on Q2 images, the results are almost always unusable. For comparison: With my Sony A7RII, the denoising usually delivers usable results. Does anyone know this problem? Here is a small comparison: Both pictures were taken in RAW format with ISO 3200 and aperture 8: Leica Q2:Sony A7R2:

lrc gets stuck on Backing up Lightroom Catalog -- Optimizing bid data storage -- how do I fix this?

Hej! I need help to understand what is the issue with my computer, and running lightroom specifically. Photoshop is no problem outside of opening images to edit from lightroom directly.  In lightroom any small edit adjustment brings up the dreaded spinning wheel and the situation I think has gotten gradually worse over the last months. I tried to make some adjustments and clear some space - for example moving my dropbox to online only.  I suspect it is the computer - but perhaps the external drive where the images are stored?  Here is the file with the system info. Any help appreciated.

I am in the process of moving from a Windows laptop to a MacBook Pro. I have copied my Develop presets from my Windows laptop. Is there a particular location I should store them on my MacBook? For now, I have put them in a convenient location: a folder in Pictures, where I store my Lightroom catalog and associated Lightroom program files. I imported a few presets from there. But should I be storing them somewhere else? For example, If I create new Develop presets later, will Lightroom automatically store the new Develop presets elsewhere, so that I should really put the existing Develop presets in that same location to keep the presets together? Thanks.

Possible Bug:I tried to copy all settings using normal Edit > Copy while in Develop > Masking and could not copy.  Switched to Adjustments mode and copy worked as expected.LRC february 2025WIN 11 

suddentely, i cant export my photos. LR gives me un unkow wrror, so, i dont even know what the problem is. i re-installed, I gave the PC to an IT colleague, that reset some settings, and it worked 3 times. after it, it stopped exporting again. i changed several exportings settings, but the problem dont go away....   PS: how the f**** can i talk with somebody of Adobe?! we are paying for a software but also for a service, and i cant find any direct contact to them. only stupid bots and FAQs!thank you for your support

Hello, I no longer have a subscription to adobe i just wanted to open lightroom to export some old photos and to my knowledge this was possible without a subscription (I had done it before) but now adobe is asking me for a subscription or free trail. Does adobe now doesnt allow the use organization/export in lightroom classic without a subscription? Did i just get locked out of all my photos and edits by adobe?

Hallo, ich nutze Lightroom Classic Version 14.2, MacBook Pro 14" M1, Mac OS 15.3.2 (24D81) und habe seit ca. 5,6 Monate ein wirklich nerviges Problem. Bis dato war es immer so, wenn ich Bilder exportiert habe hat er mir den zuletzt ausgewählten Ordner vom vorherigen Export als Verzeichnis vorgeschlagen. Seit kurzem wählt er immer (!) den Schreibtisch aus.  Erklärt an einem Beispiel:- Ich exportiere 5 Bilder in den Ordner bzw. das Verzeichnis: Schreibtisch-Projekt xy-Export-Webfotos - Exportiere kurz darauf (ohne LR zu schließen) 5 weitere Bilder. Früher war ich dann automatisch in dem Ordner den ich zuletzt für den Export ausgewählt habe. Nun schlägt er jedes mal den Schreibtisch vor. Kann sich das jemand erklären? Wie bekomme ich das behoben? Ich stoße tagtäglich auf dieses Problem mehrere male und es kostet mich wirklich eine Menge Zeit. Danke & Cheers! 

My subscription ended, I need to export some photos because of work, I should be able too, I don't get the option to even open lightroom, i can only buy or uninstall. I read I was going to be able to export my work after subscription ended. I need to, then all my work is lost because I no longer want to pay subscription? I understand not being able to edit but I payed for your software to be able to edit my photos. Now i need to pay to export my photos from your program? what the hell is that? seriously?? and no way to contact because i'm no longer a paying costumer? WTH???/ Those photos are mine and I should be able to export photos from my catalog to JPG. What a cash grab seriously you are not here to make our life easier, now that you guys are a monopoly are effin everyone over? WTH!!?

Linear and radial gradient mask no longer have controls once placed over photograph.  Previously masks could be moved, resized etc. now there are no handles or controls what-so-ever.  I un-installed and re-installed LRc.  Updated video drivers.  Updated Windows OS.     Lightroom Classic version: 11.5 [ 202208080927-8a575c91 ]License: Creative CloudOperating system: Windows 10 - Business EditionVersion: 10.0.19044

Hello,I can tether seamlessly with my Canon 6D old camera with exactly the same software. But when I use my new Canon R6M2 + new TetherTool cable, LM connects with the camera, I can do live view, remote trigger. But after photos are taken, they do not show up on the designated folder. What is going on? PLEASE HELP!
