Lightroom Classic

Ne fonctionne plus correctement, plante sans arret, importations tres longues, s'arrete à 15 photos (bibliotheque ne repond pas ) etc. Je voudrais donc réinstaller LR Classic  (je suis abonné ) Quid du catalogue ? J'ai téléchargé la dernière mise  à jour, vu toutes les autres causes de dysfonctionnement. Le contact d'aide d'Adobe est nul

Hi all,My company is using Lightroom Classic and would like to access the same catalog and imported photos across multiple laptops. I understand Lightroom Classic is designed for local storage, but I’m wondering: Is it possible to store my Lightroom Classic catalog and photo library in a cloud service like Dropbox or OneDrive, so I can open the same catalog from different laptops (not simultaneously) and continue editing where I left off? I don’t want to switch to the cloud-based Lightroom (due to budget constraints), but I’m comfortable with a bit of a manual workflow—as long as it’s stable and won’t risk catalog corruption. Has anyone here done this successfully?Thanks in advance!

Hello,I have a newish Macbook Pro M3 Max, 48GB of memory and Sequoia 15.3.2. I have plugged in a Samsung Extreme SSD which has a lot of folders containing images (raw and processed), which has been my Lightroom library on an older Intel based Mac (from end 2019). When I open LCC on the new Mac with the SSD plugged in, Finder can see the contents no problem, but LCC just says 'no photos found', despite having subfolders ticked and the drive visible at the root of the tree view on the left. Anybody any ideas why this is?RegardsAndrew Richards

So I try to search for a file name, or a name and I always get "No photos match the filter". I have always found this with LR and so have never used it as a database, since it's pointless if you can't search it!I am trying to find a picture which I was working on last week which is not showing up in the Library where it is in my finder, ie in Pictures. It is not there and when I try to Import it again it won't let me, but won't show me where it is in the Library. I have tried highlighting all photographs still no luckHow do I sort this out! ?? I have created a small dialog window using a combo_boxI am facing two issues: 1. Only 5 entries are displayed in the dropdown, no more than that.2. At first the scroller faintly appears, then disappears.I have set scrollers to always appear in the Mac settings.The scoller disappearing is not a big issue.Can the limit of entries in the dropdown be extended?I tried using height_in_lines but doens't work.

I'm running Lightroom Classic on macOS Sequoia 15.1. I notice that I'm not getting the latest version. When I check for updates in the Creative Cloud desktop app it says I have the latest version 13.4 but I see on Adobe's website the latest version is 14.0.1. I have already logged out and logged in again and tried a repair.How can I get the latest version? 

I recently got LR6 upgraded to LrC 14.2 on my Win10 laptop. All my photos and backups are on a NAS external drive.  I can find and open all pictures an any photo viewer. They are all there. But I would like to get all my folders back in the Library section of the screen under "folders." I have many folders for each month/year I took pictures.  My final edits are also on the NAS drive.  How do I get the folders to all show again? I did try importing from another catalog (my last backup which was end of March.) and it threw an error (see attached) Basically I need to remap my Library to see all the folders on the E: drive, or at least select the folders for my lightroom work.  Thanks in advance for assistance.

Estoy intentando editar el fondo de una fotografía y al querer usar la mascara de selección de fondo, esta solo parpadera como si fuera a comenzar y se esfuma.Las mascaras de selección de sujeto y cielo funcionan correctamente, además probe la de objetos, rando y drgeadados, estas también funcionan.  Pc: Windows 11, grafica 3060 12gb, 64 ram, ryzen 7 5700gVersion 14.2 de Lrc y 17.2 de Camera Raw. Para intentar solucionarlo probe:- Revisar no hubieran actualzicaciones de Windos Pendientes- Actualizar controlador grafico.- Borrar cahe de Lrc.- Reestablecer preferencias de Lrc- Probar si la función, arrancaba con otro catalogo- Desistalar Lrc y volverlo a instalar, borrando antes de la nueva instalación los archivos residuales del pc. Agradezco la ayuda.Saludos. 

Hi, can you "color" pictures before importing them? I'm used to Photomechanic and I'm a sports photographer and I want a quick way to throw away the ones you don't want before importing.

Hiya. I'm adding text watermarks to my finished edits and adjusting them each time to blend subtly in each photo. When I get it just right and then click done to preview the export, the opacity I've configured changes every time. To compensate, I often take a guess at much lower than needed- sometimes it's invisible to me- and that gives me a watermark that's good enough when it does its own thing afterwards! What's going on here? I'd totally much rather use this feature functioning properly; is there something I can do, or is this a bug? I have scoured all the threads on Sync issues and none of the suggested soltions have worked.  Here is some context.My Macbook is old and will not update past MacOS Monterey 12.7.6 I have over a TB of unused HD space.Updates in my creative cloud for LR Classic and LR are showing as 'Not Compatible' due to my OS I am using Lightroom Classic V 14.2 and Lightroom V 8.2My workflow is iphone sync to the moble app, whichs syncs to Lightroom, which syncs to LR Classic.  I've been doing this flawlessly for years.The sync to mobile from iphone works.  the synce for LR Mobile to Lightroom works.  I had a period of several months recently where I was not keeping up with the sync and the photo/video sync volume grew to over 700.Sync stops in LR-C at a random number.Rebuild Sync Data does not work (but can change the number at which it stalls)Delete All Sync Data does not work, meaning the feature doesn't work.  The popup link is dead.In my Lightroom Sync fol

My workflow requires significant amount of moving photos (no way around this). My photos are significant, typically over 1GB. Recently, large delays have developed, both with moving files, creating folders, developing, and right clicking. Typically 1+ minutes to react. It occurs on all my storage drives, a variety spinning hard drives and NVME drives. I can temporarily fix this by optimizing the catalog, but it returns after working on 10 or so images. Last, these large photos are panoramas, made from a few different images. When I select all the images, they will all move (after the delay) EXCEPT the panorama made from these images. If I select multple groups of these original images and panorama, they will all go, except for one single panorama with the "error while moving files" popup with "file could not be moved to the selected destination". The only way to get around that, is to select the panorama with another image, move them both, then move back the one I don't want.

Hi guys,When I use Control+A to select all images in my "Francis" collection in Lightroom, I expect to find them all highlighted when I go to the All Pictures folder. Not so: some are and some are not. That's disturbing. Am I missing something?Thanks a lot.

Hello,   I found that when holding down the Option key, the movement speed of the curve tool is inconsistent when dragging up, down, left, and right. In the video I uploaded, you can clearly see that moving downward is significantly faster than moving upward, making the operation very uncomfortable. I hope this can be fixed as soon as possible. This issue occurs with both the trackpad and the mouse.

Hello,Since several month, synchro from LR web to LRC does not work. I synch collection from LRC to LR web and all is ok (green flag on LRC and nothing on diagnostic report).Now If I change color, marker, keywork, star, on some photo directly from Web, nothing change in LRC.I can receive comments and hearts (but without yellow badges as before). Same issue with LR. I can change parameters or markers with LR  but nothing change on LRC, even after one day.Seems that synchro work only on one way ? from LRC to web and that's all ? any idea ? ThanksHervé

Hi I want to create a slideshow that I got the idea for while scrolling very fast through my 1000+ photos from a recent trip to Rome in Lightroom Classic.  With the arrow key held down it took about 30 seconds to go from beginning to end, and I thought that would be a cool and interesting way to share "all" of my photos.  Using an online time calculator, it looks like each frame would be about 25 milliseconds. Is there a way to do this in LrC?  It seems like the regular slideshow time per slide only goes down to 1 second.  Is that the limit?   If it's not do-able in LrC, is there another (Mac based ideally) app that can?  Ideally free, but not required - though I'm not sure I'd spend a ton of money on it. Thanks for any suggestions you can give.

I noticed photo:requestJpegThumbnail being rather slow in situation, where developSettings have been recently applied to the images and Lightroom did not calculate previews yet or for example if you export some images as a new catalog and do not embed any smart previews or alike. When you load this freshly exported catalog that only links to the raw files (and in my case has some sliders applied - not sure if that is important) and does not yet come with pre calculated previews, calling photo:requestJpegThumbnail() takes a long time before it calls the callback. I did some measurements and for me it takes roughtly 2x as long as running a full export via LrExportSession for that photo.   This seems like a bug to me, as i would expect the JpegThumbnail to be rendered faster than a full export.   As a side note: once we request the thumbnail, Lightroom is using CPU for building the thumbnail even if we no longer keep a reference to the thumbnail request. I had to upgrade to Lightroom Classic 14.2. Now I cannot import any of my valuable User Presets that took me hours to develop. When I import an *.lrcat backup file, they won't show up. When I try to import the *.xmp files directly from Lightroom Settings/Settings, I get a notification "Unable to import presets / All items were already imported." But I cannot see them anywhere and cannot use them. what has gone wrong?Thanks"

When opening images in Photoshop from Lightroom, the images noticeably change, especially in the dark areas where the blacks become washed out and lose detail. This issue also occurs when switching between the Develop and Library modules in Lightroom. Disabling GPU acceleration in Lightroom's performance settings results in poor quality across the board. Enabling the HDR in Library option helps maintain consistency in Lightroom, but the black details still wash out after exporting to Photoshop.    The only time my images look correct is in the Develop module with GPU enabled or in the Library with HDR turned on. However, this does not carry over to Photoshop or during exports, even with GPU enabled for exports.   My monitor is calibrated using the latest Spyder tools, and I’ve ensured that the color profiles match in both Lightroom and Photoshop. I've tried various color spaces (Adobe98, sRGB, ProPhoto) and even generic monitor calibrations to rule out corrupted ICC prof

I have had to update my Mac OS software due to upgrading camera. I use Lightroom 6 and now in develop screen I get a white box across the screen which cuts of top of picture with the photo info in it. How can I reduce its size or remove it? Any help would be fantastic 

My Camera Raw was updated today and now I am noticing the colors and temprature of my images are different between the Library view and Developer Module.  The library and Navigator preview in the developer module are significantly warmer than the developer view. When opening the same image in Photoshop or even exporting the image it appears the library view is accurate not the develop module. I have checked all settings for changes but none were made other than the last update. I am not able to accurately edit images at this time. Ideas? 

Hi I have just installed LR6 on a new computer, had to jump through hoops with the codes but got there in the end, but now when i import images it tells me that it cannot open them. This has happened before and was sorted by remote access but that choice appears to have been discontinued. Is there a quick fix for thiis?Cheers, Peter.

Hi, only some Photos, where is big contrast I see different in Develop modul after editin. When I edit Photo and than I go to the view mod, i see some changes in Photos.
