Lightroom Classic

bonjour, dans light room classique apres avoir fait une selection minuscieuse sur un ficher raw, si je souhaite soustraire ma selection , une fois fais le curseur tourne et le raw redevient brut et je pers tuoutes mes retouches.  je suis sur macbook pro , avec palette wacom. j'ai redemarré, verifié les mise a jour, réinitialisé l'application , réinstallé l'application, vidé les caches mais rien ni fait. version14.2 de LRCversion sequoia 15.4est ce que qu'un a déjà eu le cas ?

I have just created a new Lightroom catalogue and notice that the folder names in the library show the full path name for every folder. This wasn't the case with previous catalogues I've created. I assume I have inadvertently changed a preference somewhere, but I can see any obvious candidates.Any pointers gratefully received!

Hallo ihr Lieben, ich habe 2 Probleme mit Lightroom/Photoshop. 1. Problem:Habe Bilder über den Button "Entrauschen" bearbeiten lassen. Alles top geklappt. Bilder waren auch der Reihenfolge nach so wie ich sie eingespielt habe in Lightroom. Gestern wieder "Entrasuchen" gedrückt und die Bilder sind nun ganz am Ende von Lightroom und nicht mehr in der ursprünglichen Reihenefolge. Ist das normal? Ging ja vorher auch. 2. Problem:Wollte ein Bild in Photoshop Beta bearbeiten. Geht zwar Photoshop auf aber das Bild nicht. Kommen alle Bilder die ich vorher darin bearbeitet habe.  Hoffe ich könnt mir helfen, denn die 2 Probleme nerven mich schon sehr. Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe, Liebe Grüße,Caro

This has been working for me for a long time.. but when I opened LrC today, many of the latest images taken on my iPhone would not sync into LrC catalog.. It said specified folder not available.I have not changed anything. Tried to click on "choose"-button to see what was the problem, but could not find a problem.The problem started when click OK.. then LrC started moving photos to a new destination folder "Lightroom". I stopped it right away, because this was not the folder it was set up to sync before I clicked the Choose-button.I cannot find my sync folder... help!! 🙂  How to find my sync folder.. tried but I cannot remember the folders name..I dont think it was anything specific other than maybe on an external ssd. (I dont think so) Or should I just start sync to a new folder on internal ssd. ?? 

При включении LrC за висает на чтении устаноовчных настроек. В дальнейшем ничего не происходит, только принудительное выключение программы.

Good morning, Ever since the latest Lightroom Classic release (14.2 - Windows 11), each time I run the application, the NAS where I store the photos (not the catalog) goes nuts.  For some reason or another LR is accessing the drives and I can't figure out why?   Even after I exit LR, I check the Task Manager, LR is still running in the background going nuts on drives.Can someone explain what is going on?I was expecting the application to act as it did previously... hitting the NAS only when changes are made or when importing photos.  Thanks,Mark

I'm getting a Black Out when I go to use Dehaze with my new Sony 7 IV camera RAW images. When I try to adjust the slider the image goes Black and can't see anything. If I bring it back to 0 zero it comes back but can Not see once I try to adjust the image. I have cloud based Adobe so I'm up to date with firmware. I use Dehaze often, so need this fixed asap please. 

The shadows in the slideshow module are not working as expected for me.   LR Classic 14.2.  Sequoia 15.3.2, 5K iMac (Intel).   When I create a slide show with a background and the make a shadow with the photos and use an angle of -45, the shadow moves towards the top of screen.   However when I export that slide to a jpeg the shadow is projected towards the bottom of the screen.   Finally when I use a text overlay with shadows of the text, the -45 degree angle makes a shadow falling towards the bottom of the screen and that behavoir is consistent on the export.   I have attached a screenshot from the creation of the slide and the slide output.   Screenshot from LR Classic     Export of jpeg from Slideshow mode

Reproduction (probably only on my catalog)I select the image, select a "normal" JPG export to Disk (RMB -> Export -> Export...). The progress bar at the top appears but never finishes.The file is never written to disk (but if the options say it should be placed in a subfolder, that subfolder is created). The export works fine with other files in the same folder from the same source, with similar edits, etc. This only happens on 5 files out of ~100 from the same camera/phone and ~175 in the same folder. Hello,I'm having a problem with Lightroom. When I name people, for one person it gives me 2 "keywords" when there is only one. I don't know why. It goes the same in "faces" and in "keywording tab"... Please why?  Thank you

Hi Community, I'm desperately hoping someone here can help after spending 2 hours on a chat with Adobe support and getting nowhere. What happened is that I inadvertently deleted an entire folder of ~300 photos from disk through Lightroom CC. I restored the files from my trash can along with their corresponding XMP files. All files are now back in the original location. I re-synched the folder to bring back the deleted files. However, none of my edits have been restored, causing me hours of lost work. My understanding is that my edits would be contained in the XMP sidecar files but I can't seem to figure out how to access it. Any assistance from the community would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

  Hi everyone,I really need help here. I recently moved all my files from my external 5TB drive (E:) to a new 8TB internal SSD (C:) that I just installed to replace the original 1TB drive in my laptop.At first, when I opened Adobe Lightroom, things seemed fine. Some folders showed the "?" icon, but I was able to repoint them to the new location on the C: drive, and they appeared to work normally.But then I made a huge mistake: I moved the folders that contained all of my Lightroom catalog files (including the .lrcat files) to the C: drive as well. After that, everything disappeared. When I open any of my catalog files now:There’s no folder tree on the left panel.No thumbnails or previews.No “?” icons, so I can’t even repoint missing files.It’s like the catalog is completely empty, even though the .lrcat files still have size and aren’t corrupted (as far as I can tell).I even tried copying the catalog folders back to the E: drive where they originally were, but the same issue

Good morning all,Recently upgraded my monitor (3440x1440) and have also upgraded my GPU (4070 Super) but since doing so, Lightroom runs at an incredibly slow speed. It doesn't load thumbnails during import, and even when imported, there's no thumbnails.   I've done everything I can think of, including rolling back to 12.5 and doing an entirely fresh install of 14.0.1, but still, there's not difference.It almost paints the window in brushstrokes when loading as well.   Thank you so much for your help Please see my system info below. Adobe Lightroom Classic: Importing LR catalogues to existing one - import issue  Hey everybody, I need help and can't find anything in the internet. I edit all my pictures in Lightroom Classic and have one master catalogue. One day I thought it would be clever to create new catalogues from time to time, as they can grow quite large. However, this was not a good idea. Since them I have trouble to update them or to merge the catalogues again.I finally managed to update my old catalogue to the latest version, however I still have issues to import / merge the rest of my photos into my master catalogue. I have merged about 80%, but then I always get the same issue, it basically says "Lightroom could not import this catalogue because an unknown error occurred." (in German "Lightroom konnte diesen Katalog nicht importieren, da ein unbekannter Fehler aufgetreten ist.")I searched the internet, but issues are often: old computer, not enough storage/RAM, outdated LR software, catalogues in c

While consolidating my cataloges into a single catalogue, I encountered an "Unknown Error", which stopped the import. File > Import from another Catalogue.   After about 2 days of investigation and fixes, these are my findings:   Issues were from catalogue entries in 2022 and 2023.   Possible causes incluce: - stacked images (I unstacked them all) - xxx.dng images created when using denoise, either Adobe or DXO (I removed all .dng images from my catalogues, but left them on disk so I could import them later) - xxx.tif images (these may not be an issue, removed them as with the .dng images just in case)   Other possible suspects: - previews (remove all previews Library > Previews > Disgard xxx previews)   After doing all this I managed to import all my older cataloges into a new consolidated catalogue.   One way to identify what is causing the issue by splitting your problem catalogues into smaller catalogues. Thanks for your help in advance. I've never had too many issues with Lightroom Classic other than operator error, but lately renaming photo's has become painfully slow. Even renaming one photo can take 12 - 15 seconds. My importing and exporting of pictures works great. I'm not the strongest on Lightroom, but I've tried to do what I can. So far I've checked for updates, turned off cloud sync and optimized the catalog. Thanks..!!

BuenasCada vez que abro lightroom le cuesta mucho cualquier tarea, tengo un I7, con 12 gb de grafica, y 96 gb de memoria DDR4, tengo windows 11,   no entiendo muy bien que funcione tan mal, tendria que moverlo bien. Gracias y un saludo. 

Created a collection and cannot drag photos to that colletion or between folders.   MacOS 15.4 and LRC 14.2.   Anyone have this issue and know a solution?

Hola, tengo un Mac book pro instalada la últimas versiones de lightroom y cámara raw, Hace unas semanas que no enciendo el ordenador xq estuve fuera. Hoy me pongo a procesar fotos y veo que no puedo acceder al botón de reducción de ruido y me pone que no es compatible con este formato de.  Cómo es posible que hace unas semanas me iba de maravilla y ahora no puedo acceder?Por favor necesito ayuda ya que no encuentro solución por la red.Gracias.

Ever since I downloaded Lightroom Classic (version 14.2) on my new macbook (Apple M2 Pro 2023) I have problems with importing photos from my Nikon D800.When Importing, some thumbnails show up but the rest remains grey, no matter how long I wait. When clicking import it just says "importing" without actually importing.I tried de-installing and reinstalling without migrating former catalogs or presets, to see if it works with a clean slate. The problem still remains.Similar threads suggesting deactivating GPU support, tried this, but it doesn't solve it.Importing DNG files from an external hard drive does work.What to do?  

For some reason, everytime I try to use AI on LrC, it crashes and I have to close and reopen the program to continue using it. The way it crash is that it wont hsow me the settings I do on the picture. It will only show me on the preview in the left corner and it also wont cut the picture. But its only when I use AI, for example masks and lens blur. At first it was only when I tried to use lens blur, but now it also does the same when I try to use AI masks. So annoying and it makes my work go slower, because I always have to close and then reopen the program.
