Cloud Storage Full - I’ve deleted everything including deleted folder on all devices yet Cloud Storage shows 48.9 GB used. I checked Lightroom on my iPhone, iPad and Mac and lightroom classic on my Mac. What could be there?

Ever since I upgraded to Lightroom Classic 13.4 I'm having several issues. The most annoying is when I try to delete a photo. When I right-click in a photo and then click on "remove photo" an option would appear to "Remove from Lightroom" or "Delete from disc". The same thing would occur when I used the keys Command/Option/Shift/Delete - the option to remove or delete would show up. Upon clicking an option It would then "remove and trash photo" or "remove from Lightroom" (depending on which option I chose). Now when I try to delete (using either method) I get a long pause while it says "gathering information" at the top left. This takes 30 seconds to a minute before the option to "remove from Lightroom" or "delete from disk" box comes up. This is really frustrating and taking up way too much of my time. Sometimes the pause will go away if close down Lightroom and reopen it but sometimes not. In addition
Hello, i need DELETE all my SYNCED data. Ok.. but where is the option to do that? In LR Classic , at preferences, you can see a button to do tht but when you clk it, LR send you to LR web page... and there, nothing.... ( or i miss it ).
The obvious way the "lock" on aspect ratio in the crop toiol should work is that it STAYS locked on the selected aspect ratio until the user unlocks it, regardless of the images you're editing. No, you shouldn't need to sync it across other photos. The crop tool has NEVER worked correctly, and I've used every version of Lightroom. As far as I can tell, the lock means nothing and has no predictable behavior other then to reset itself when you need it to stay the same. Has anybody found a workaround for this, since Adobe has a different idea of what a lock is than the popular definition?
Hi,I have Lightroom 6 since many years and a Nikon D7500 since many years too. With Windows 10, everything was ok and Lightroom open my raw. Windows 10 is dead and I have now Windows 11. So I have to reinstall Lightroom 6 on my PC. Since that, I have this message "The file is not recognized by Lightroom's raw format support." Usually this message appear when you change camera but I have a Nikon D7500 since many years. Why it was OK with Windows 10 and not with Windows 11 with the same camera? I try the offline activation and nothing change. I have the same problem.Ciao, Diane
I have 200 images. The first image is cropped to a custom aspect ratio and locked. The crop is then synced to all other images. All good so far.But when I open any other image in edit mode, and attempt to change the size of the crop (eg. by dragging a side), the crop ratio immediately changes and the custom crop is lost. This is very frustrating problem as I am unable to apply a custom aspect ratio and make size adjustments. Is this normal in LR?
Louis
I pretty much never use LR's hdr merge function. I shoot a lot of bracketed images and it's just too clunky to work with lots of bracketed shots in LR. But occasionally I just have 1 or 2 sets of brackets. And once in a while I'll let LR take a crack at merging them. And everything time it does it seems completely useless to me. Because to my eyes, the merged image looks almost exactly the same as the middle bracketed shot. Maybe the highlights are just slightly turned down, or shadows turned up just a tiny bit. But it's such a small difference that it's useless. I always use a 3rd party HDR app. Is the HDR functionality in LR just completely useless? Or am I doing something wrong?

Ever since LrC update in September of 2024 I have had nothing but issues, specifically with collections. I use collections to organize mt photo shoots so this is a giant pain. I import my photos using copy, I can create collection sets just fine, but when I go to create a collection I hit the "+" button and click create collection and nothing happens. No new dialogue opens, no error message, nothing. The same thing happens when I try and rate a photo, nothing happens. Then finally if I try and export my photos I get the error sound and it tells me the photos do not exist. You can see in the video below I can't rate the photos or create a collection, yet when I hit show in finder it finds the images fine. Then the cherry on top when I go to export it does nothing.
It just started yesterday after my xmas break, so I don't know when it actually started. Since nothing else has chaged, no new programs installed etc, it seems like a update has been made to LrC. Graphics drivers updated to latest studio release. Even disabled GPU to no avail. Anyone else have this severe problems with the 14-release? Please help!!PS.There is a 21 gig crash dump from yesterday and one from december that I had to remove to not just have 20 megs of space on my os disk. They seem not to be removed but to lie ther indefinitely, just eating up space on the disk.Located at C:\Users\[user_name]]\AppData\LocalLow\Adobe\CRLogs\dumpsDS.The system info: Lightroom Classic version: 14.0.1 [ 202410161356-30922cfc ] License: Creative Cloud Language setting: en Operating system: Windows 10 - Home Premium Edition Version: 10.0.19045 Application architecture: x64 System architecture: x64 Logical processor count: 16 Processor speed: 3,5GHz SqLite Version: 3.36.0 CPU Utilisation: 6,0
I use rcTreesync and jfCollectionPublisher. And it's driving me nuts that a missing photo just drives a publish error message 'Can I use the smart preview' without telling me which publish collection or image is missing. I have hundreds of collections which I then have to scroll through, wait for LR to work out what it's republishing (all of it every time), and then scroll down to the the bottom to look for items for deletion. Does anyone have a workaround.? With treesync there is a log but you have to wait for the whole publish to finish before you can start messing around. Not sure what I'm looking for in jf's logs. Any hints? Anyone got a workaround that changes the LR error message in their toolbox or any other ways to pin this down better?
I'm on 13.0.1 and I no longer seem to be able to import photos from another catalog. When I select a catalog to import, a dialog pops up saying: "Lightroom cannot import from this catalog. The catalog does not appear to be a valid Lightroom catalog." This happens with basically every catalog I've tried, even a catalog with a single image. I searched around and it seems that many people have had similar problems in the past with this feature, but this is the first time I've encountered it. I have used it successfully in the past, although not on version 13.0.1.
Lightroom Classic uses the content disk excessively the first couple of minutes when starting up. It seems to look for images. This causes the program to be unresponsive and unusable for several minutes after starting it. How to reproduce:Start Task Manager and note the disk usage. Start Lightroom Classic (I use an old school hard drive, not SSD, and most images except for the last two years are in the catalog are not present).Expected result:The disk usage should be within acceptable levels and the program responsive.Actual result:The disk goes up to 100% usage for several minutes, causing unresponsiveness for several minutes. Selecting any other image than the one displayed since last last session does not work. The import function does work, but trying to edit any images is impossible.
Hilfe sehr dankbar. GrußNorbert
I’m on Adobes Photography Plan and I’m up to date with versions and I’m currently on version 11.4, although this problem has probably happened on the last 6 or so updates.LRC just changes whatever the date of the shoot was on the photograph and changes it to the date of the import, as you import a batch of photos. I have looked at various `fixes` that have been suggested but none of them work and although you can change roughly the date of the shoot in Metadata, you can’t change the date to the exact date the photo was shot. When Keywording now, I put the month and day the photo was shot, i.e. April, 17th and on the photos where LRC changes the date and I don’t know the date the photo was taken I also add in `Date shown on this photo is not correct`.This problem is random though, on a batch import of say 50 photos maybe 40 would have the dates changed.Any ideas?Thank you
I am in the process of merging multiple LrC catalogs into a single master catalog and consolidate/move all the photos to a new large disk. I learned this process from a workshop and successfully done two of such operations. Here are the steps I took:1. Open the catalog in LrC of the one I want to merge into the single catalog;Select All Photographs; then in "edit" choose Select None; then in "File" choose "Export as catalog" and select "Export negative files" and "Include available preview"; then enter the location where I want to exported catalog file etc. This operation will generate all the folders in the LrC catalog to be exported and the catalog files.Once this operation completes, to merge into the single master catalog:2. Open the single master catalog in LrC:In "File" select Import from another catalog"; then in the popup, navigate to the folder where the exported catalog and folders reside, select the catalog file AND ALL the folders; then enter the location where you want to m
Canon R6 Mark II doesn't tether with Lightroom. Camera not detected. Lightroom 14.1, Mac Ventura 13.4, Firmware 1.5.0. Brand new tethering cable seems totally fine. I am loosing my mind as I have photoshoot with 100 employees and I need to get this thing running. HELP!!
I do not want to import all my Apple photos. A while ago a member of this community gave me instructions about how to import only specific photos. Unfortunately I can't find those emails and am not sure of the steps. Most grateful for any help.
Two big issues have been happening for 4 months now. The 1st issue is I will sit down to edit photos, import them, edit them, then go to export the images all in the same sitting and LRc tells me the photos do not exist on the disk. Nothing was moved. The other issue is when I go to create a collection I click the + on collection and then create collection and nothing happens. No collection is created, no error message, nothing. The only way to create a collection is to restart LRc and I can create one collection then I need to restart if I want to make another one. I'm running the most current version but this problem has been happening for 4 months now. I have tried optimizing my catalog as well.
Danke im Voraus 🙏 [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
