After a day of shooting I have realized that time in my camera was incorrect (few minutes mismatch with my gps tracker). Is there any way to add certain time to all selected photos capture time (6 minutes)? I can do it one by one but it's just a torment .

Issues: 1. Lightroom classic will not let me import a single file, it imports the entire folder, 2. LC has a difficult time re-importing or finding a file I have already worked on. As far as problem 1, I now have to create another folder with nothing in it and place that file in it, then import into lightroom. This is dumb. If I wanted my entire folder imported, I would simply, select all, then import them. Problem 2. So, after I import the file and work on it, after I export it, this program has a hell of time finding it again. I get messages like, "no file' or someting like that. BTW. tech support agreed with me and said he would submit feedback. For now, I still have trouble re-loading a file I have already exporeted and worked on. This should not be this difficult. my setup; Mac OS Monterey 12.0 , M1max chip
Hey guys, I have recently come across a huge issue where Lightroom randomly exports my photos much darker than how they were edited; some photots will export perfect and others will export dark randomly. My colorspace is sRGB and my monitor display settings are correct. I have also tried pulling them into Photoshop from Lightroom, and same thing, looks much darker than how they look in Lightroom. I will use a preset for a photo and it will export perfect, then use the same preset and it exports dark, super weird. Anything helps!
I am an old man who is having great difficuly exporting photos in Classic. 1, I would prefer to export in tiff. 2, when I export the jpg files open in LR. The person I am trying to send to does not have LR. When I try to open a file in opens LR. How can I export in tiff and in such a way it does not need LR? i am becoming very frustrated. I must be doing something wrong but I am stumped. Please help.
Hi everyone, Could you please help on adjusting the export settings for the below requirements..I am not so sure how to set DPI on Lightroom.. Thanks 1. 72 dpi JPEG files.2. Longest axis should be no greater than 1440 pixels.
I work with Mac OS Sequoia(15.2) and Lightroom Classic (Lightroom Classic version: 14.1.1). Very often actions in Lightroom are not executed or are executed very late. For example:I press “Automatic” in develop mode and nothing happens. When I close Lightroom and open it again, I see the changes I made previously.Something similar happens when changing folder names, for example. The change is not displayed, close and open Lightroom and the name is changed. Adding to Quick Collections takes a very long time (sometimes several minutes). These problems do not always occur. Sometimes everything works as usual and then suddenly nothing works anymore.Does anyone have similar problems? [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
Hello, I have a similar problem. I am using LR classic cc(subscription) and my catalog is on an external hard drive. All my photos are on external hard drives as well. Some on the same hard drive as the catalog. I have been using windows 10. Recently I got a new PC windows 10, and plugged all my drives in. I opened the catalog and got the same error message "Lightroom cannot write to the following directories, c/User..." also all the hard drives show up as folders as usual but the dreaded ? and ! signs show up and not images are synched. I assume because of the cannot write problem. All files are present on the hard drives on the new computer but just not able to open them or synch them in Lightroom. Please advise, and if it is a permission problem, please provide step by step directions for PC since I am not that well versed in such things. Also do I need to log out of my adobe acct on the old computer?thxsc
First of all, please understand that other than photography (which is obviously both technology and art), my tech skills are knowledge are actually pretty minimal. With that out of the way, my problem is that my laptop is just about completely out of space. I used the Windows storage tool to see where this space was being used, and not surprisinlgy the Pictures folder was over half. If not for Lightroom, I would just back those pictures up to an external hard drive and delete them from my machine, but the problem is that I know that Lightroom is dependant on the original files being accessible to it. I've even moved some images in the past and that alone removed them from Lightroom, because I guess the path was no longer the same. I would hate to essentially lose those images from my Catalog and therefore the ability to refer back to them in the future and even apply future edits to them. But, again, my laptop is essentially useless if it's out of space. How do you think I sh
HiMy lightroom classic has been working fine until suddenly one day about a week ago when it crashed my computer, bluescreened and restarted. If i don't launch Lightroom my computer will work fine but if i launch Lightroom it will slow the entire computer down to where clicking the start menu takes 3-5sec to appear. I've upgraded my memory to 64gb and put in a new nvme drive (ran tests on both to make sure everything is ok), re-applied thermal paste, cleaned fans, etc.I've also re-installed Windows (2 days ago), fresh ISO from Microsofts website and of course fresh install of Lightroom Classic without installing any plugins. The problem is STILL there, if i open a new catalogue the problem is less severe but still noticeable. When checking the task manager the computer is not running anything very high, processor is less than 10%, memory is stable at around 8-10gb (64GB available), Disk about 1-2%, GPU is also around 1-2%.If i close Lightroom the problem persists until i restar

Hi guys,I received an alert that says: REPAIR CATALOG The Lightroom Catalog-2-2-v13-3” is corrupt and cannot be used until it is repaired. The repair process may take several minutes. …… It has been several hours and the wheel is still twirling. I have a Macbook / Sequoia 15.1.1And I have the backup drive. What’s your best advice? Thanks a lot,
I need to add captions to images showing my contact info, the source or origin of the image and the URL where downloaded document was found. Many of these are downloaded images of text documents. I want to keep the originals caption free and just export a jpg of the image with the caption. Is this possible within LR? Or, is there a plug-in that will do the job?
Hi, I've just reformatted my mac. Beforehand I had saved my local adjustments presets but now I can't find a way to import them back in my reinstalled version of LR Classic.I've done it several times by the past but maybe due to the new version of LR Classic, nothing seems to work this time. What is the correct way to import them ?(I had no problem with importing Develop presets though) Thanks in advance for your help ! Chloé

Hi ! Could someone explain me how can I upload pics in the new library I just created in my 20 GB space that is given to me with my Adobe account ? Thanks, Olivier (France)
Lightroom CC 2015A client or collaborator has selected, lets say, 200 images from a shoot of 5000. I need to output those 200 files. The easiest way to do that is if they can email me the file names and then I can enter those file names into Library>Find in LR and then tag or flag those photographs. But how do they export a list of those filenames?Or is there another way or sharing selects?
Issue: When attempting to import video files if there is a HEVC/H.265 encoded file in the folder being viewed, all video files (including H.264) will not be viewable or importable and just show the error "Preview unavailable for this file". LrC version: 13.2 Mac OS version: Sonoma 14.3.1 Steps to reproduce: Open LrC Click on the Import... button Navigate to the folder with the files Expected result: LrC should show the video file previews and allow import of the files. Actual result: If there are only H.264 files in the folder, all files preview and import correctly. If there is a mix of both H.264 and H.265, or only H.265, all videos files show the error "Preview unavailable for this file". Additional observation: If I try importing a folder with H.265 files in it, which will fail with the same error, then exit out of the import dialog and then try importing again and open a folder with only H.264 files, they will only show the error message.
Long time Lightroom user here having issues with video files only. Not sure exactly when this issue started as I haven't imported video files for about a year now. Running a Mac Mini M2 updated to Sonoma 14.2.1. For some reason I am unable to import (or preview) video files anymore. Previews in the importer show the error "Preview unavailable for this file" and if I try to import anyway I get the error "There is a problem with the video file". I have tried resetting preferences, reinstalling LrC, going back to v.12, disabling/removing all plugins, playing video files in Quicktime before trying to import, copying files off my memory cards to my desktop first, removing VLC player, etc. Been searching for help online and in this forum for a couple of days but have been unable to find anything to fix my issue. All video files previously imported in LrC work just fine. I even copied a file that is already in my catalog from a couple of years ag
I recently added a new external hard drive for my photos beginning with 2025, since my original hard drive is almost full (it has images through 2024). I have connected the new hard drive to Lightroom and have been able to work on new images taken in 2025. When I connected the old hard drive to work on some 2024 images, Lightroom did not show them (only the 2025 catalog thumbnails since the 2025 hard drive is disconnected). How do I get Lightroom to show my photos from the old hard drive? The images are on the drive so it appears the catalog isn't connected, although the catalog for the old hard drive is backed up on my computer. I also noticed when I first connected the new hard drive to Lightroom that LRC seems to have updated. For example, my keywords from pre-2025 do not show up. My goal is to be able to use both hard drives and be able to work on images in Lightroom from whichever drive is connected. Thank you.
