Lightroom Classic

Hello!I've been using Lightroom CC for tethered capture with my Nikon D5100 and it has been giving me a great deal of trouble.I use Lightroom for product photography where naming conventions are crucial for my online retail business(helps with SEO). My photo session goes as follows:Start tethered captureProduct gets staged, gets custom name with sequenceTethered capture set to apply presets upon importName gets changed and sequence number gets reset as products change (every 3-4 shots)lather, rinse, repeat. until photo session is done, complete photos get exported to a different folder in Dropbox.I have both my main Lightroom catalogue and all the tethered photos syncing directly into Dropbox that has ample amounts of space on it (roughly 1 TB) but i continue to get an error message saying that the capture file could not be saved because either the drive is full or may no longer be accessible.I don't think its an issue with the internet because not only is the computer hardwired to the

Hallo   Dies ist die wichtige der zweu Fragen: Folgende Situation beim iPhone werden Live Fotos gemacht JPEG plus kurze MOV. Ich habe einige Bilder bei dem in Lightroom Classic nur die Move angezeigt aber nicht die JPEG. Es steht dann da bei Info MOV JPEG. Wie kann ich die JPEG sichtbar machen? Öffne ich den Windows Explorer ist sie da.   Mit meiner Kameranehme ich RAW JPEG auf angezeigt wird ein Bild in Lightroom wie sehe ich beide Bilde oder kann zwischen den Bildern wählen?

First time using my Nikon Z6iii for video, and I'm trying to import to Lightroom Classic  14.2 on my Mac Studio M2Max, camera is connected via USB-C. Images import fine, video still shot can be selected on 'import selection' screen, and it looks as though it is going to start importing, but the 'copy and import photos' progress bar in the top left corner of Lightroom never moves, nor does it show anything beyond an empty progress bar. Am I missing something obvious? 

I have just updated to Classic 14.2 using a Windows 11 PC, it works OK in the Library Module, but freezes when I try to do anything in the Develop Module, even as simple as moving from one image to the next. When trying to import, I have started receiving a pop-up message "Destination folder""not available."  How do I stop it?

First of all my English is not really good, so sorry for that. I will try to explain the problem.   sinds today i've a resolution issue when i open my pictures and try to edit the pictures in Lightroom classic or photoshop.Ask the question to a photoshop guru, made also a connection with the support line but also there i don't get the right solution  i need.   and now the problem...   when i put my photo in Lightroom the standard size of my photo is 5760x3840. Sinds today when i try to edit  the photos it cuts the photo above and under and the size is now 5760x3240. And the strange thing is that is only the half of the pictures has this problemin the Lightroom navigator where you can see the photo preview its also cropped. The strange is when i open the photo on my MacBook air the size of the photo is correct, 5760x3840 but when i open it in photoshop or Lightroom classic it cuts the photo to 5760x3240. did the update, ch

I'm trying to sync my Lightroom Classic collections and my sync speed is going from okb/s to 4kb/s. I'm uploading 50,000 photos (I made the mistake of rebuilding my smart previews)speedtest shows that my wifi is getting 50mb/s download and 17mb/upload.  Does anyone know how I can get sync to upload faster?I have tried tethering to my phone with 4G and it was about 2 or 3 times faster and seemed more stable, but i can't leave my phone connected for days.i was thinking maybe an Ethernet adapter connected to my wifi would help. Anyone have experience with these? I'm in Australia using an macbook pro with M1 pro with 16gb of ram and 1 tb of free storage.  Any advice welcome Neil

Hi,   My Lightroom Classic has been not responding since the new 14.2 version update. When I open the app it immediately gets stuck in "not responding" mode. I tried opening a backup catalog in case the current one was corrupted, but that too had the same result. I tried restarting the computer and uninstalling/reinstalling/restarting LrC. I also tried installing the older version (14.1.1) and that worked for a minute, but the program crashed on attempting to exit and eventually wouldn't open at all.   I'm running on a desktop with Windows 10.   Thanks, Kate   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

I am still having problems with syncing photos in lightroom.  I have watched all the videos and read the troubleshooting guides and am finding none of this has helped.  The problem was that I was always getting a sync error and it always said it was syncing 65 photos.  Everytime I would close out of LR it would tell me these 65 photos were still syncing.  The web file showed no NO photos when I would try to find which ones it was hanging up on.  I just when through and unchecked all photos so nothing should be syncing.  Initiall I got the green check on the cloud icon telling me I was good.  But I started the sync again, still with no photos selected as I just wanted to see what it would do.  Now it is telling me again I have a sync error and it is trying to sync 65 photos again.  I am really frustracted at this poing.  

I have 19 sub-folders that automatically pop up in my folder where I have all my photos stored. The folders are all named with dates (eg. 1-4 or 2-26).There are no images in the files, but when I look in the folders, there's a file called: info.lua.I've tried to remove the folders within Lightroom, but whenever I try to remove them, they automatically regenerate!Does anybody know how I can permanently get rid of the folders?

Good morning. With the new Lightroom Classic update, when I copied the settings including masks and then pasted to the next photo, I found this message "could not update AI settings for 1 photo". It happens to me with the "people" mask. Then I hit "update all" and the problem persists. What could it be?

Hallo,   ich habe einen neuen Rechner mit Windows 11. Auf meinem alten Rechner, ebenfalls Windows 11 lief Lightroom 6. Jetzt auf dem neuen passiert nach Annahme der Software Lizenzvereinbarung einfach nichts. Das Dialogfenster geht weg und es startet kein Lightroom. When I delete at bunch of photos, my preview file increases in size ??I was expecting it to get a bit lower.

Hello, I have a problem. I purchased Photoshop and Lightroom, logged into my Creative Cloud Desktop, and in my apps, I see these purchased applications only as "trial." When I click the "Try" button, it takes me back to the plan selection, where I have to enter my credit card details again. However, when I try to do this, a window pops up saying that I already own this plan. But I still can't install the applications because there is no "Install" option, only "Try."

I searched through here and found somebody with the same issue and it looked like they were able to resolve it, but nothing is working for me.  I always shoot raw and have plenty of storage on my mac.  Denoise had been working fine, but today when I try it the preview just stays blank.  I am able to run Super Resolution fine, but nothing with Denoise.  I tried to follow the steps on here deleting the gpu txt file but that didn't help.  I also ran a system update and still nothing.  I don't know what else to try so would really appreciate any help.

Hey guys, I am hoping you can help me. I am having syncing issues with Lightroom, my photos keep saying they are syncing and it will not give me the green checkmark that syncing is complete. There are 21 photos and I do not know which photos I am having an issue with. I do use multiple devices, computer, tablet, and I phone to edit photos. The version of Lightroom I am using is: Adobe Lightroom Classic, version 14.1.1 release. I have included a photo of the issues, top right you can see syncing is still occuring, but will not complete. Anyone know how to fix this? Thank you in advance 

Hi all i am having a mare of a day my orignal external drive with my photos on has broke and the my back up photo external drive has just stopped working and now not recognised by my iMac. All my photo's are shoot raw. I always back up my LrC lightroom so have an up to date back up can I still work on them, export them etc. 

All of thevideos in my Lightroom Catalog will not play w    hen I double-click on them.  Mac OS 13.6.7 , 3 GHz 10-Core Intel Xeon Wi get either a photo without video controls, or a black screen. Hallo, ich habe hier ein seltsames Problem: In meiner Schnellsammlung befinden sich 5 Bilder, die es gar nicht gibt. Vier haben eine Vorschau, eines ist nur grau. Ich vermute sie alle aus einer Session (erkennbar an den vier Vorschauen). Nur:- sie haben weder Namen noch Exif-Daten- im Finder oder in der Bilbliothek anzeigen lassen (Kontextmenü) führt zu nichts- Löschen geht nicht- Vorschauen löschen, entfernen nützt nix- Tastencode zum Entfernen aus der Schnellsammlung macht auch nix Ich vermute mal, diese Bilder sind tatsächlich gelöscht, aber in der Datenbank sind sie irgendwie als Relikte hängengeblieben. Katalog optimieren habe ich natürlich auch schon probiert. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich die Bilder loswerde???Liebe Grüße, Heiko

Hi there,My lightroom (version: CC 2015.12 [ 1125239 ] ) has been really terrible for the past month or two. It's extremely slow to respond, lags and freezes ALL the time.  I have 32g of RAM on my computer, so I know that's definitely not the issue. It used to be SO fastIt doesn't seem like there are any updates or anything so I am not sure what's going on? it's take my FOREVER to edit and export photos because of this. I had a Adobe rep remotely try to fix it and whatever they did lasted until I closed the program and restarted it.  Thoughts?

Absolutely reproducible, always occurs: I create a mask, use the spot color picker and lightroom crashes. I deactivated the use of the graphics card and reorganized the catalog (occurs with all catalogs). The face search is also closed. The system test of Lightroom after the test shows no problems. Use the full Adobe Suite, no problem with any other program. Has only been occurring for a few months, even the new version (14.2)  has not helped.So Lightroom is no longer usable for me. Terrible. Enclosed pleas find the crash report.
