Hello all, I've bought a lifelong licence to Lightroom 5.0. I've just reinstalled my computer. Where can I find the download link for Windows ? It seems like it's hidden by Adobe, I don't appreciate that... Cédric
In Reference View, I would like the option to Zoom in on the Reference Photo in the same way I Zoom in on the Active photo. Ideally this would work like Sync in Compare View. My use case: I want to evaluate two different approaches to enhancing color in two versions of the same window. I would like to be able to edit the photo in the Active window as I make the comparison. The 100% Zoom option for the Refernce window is shows too small an area. I need the flexibility to use the normal Develop Zoom tools, ideally synchronized across both photos for efficient working.
I am a long time of LR6, standalone edition. When I changed my PC recently, I tried to reinstall it. It puts me into a reiterative loop, saying I have to log into Adobe to proceed. When I do, and try to install, it brings me back again to the same message, saying I have to log into Adobe to proceed. Adobe Tech Support have told me they cannot assist as the product has reached end of life. Can anybody assist? Thanks.
Hi All, I am seeing the option for Borderless printing missing on my mac LR Classic installation. I'm using Mac OS Sequoia 15.2. I have seen some posts from older versions on here but most say it was fixed. Mine isnt though. I have tried a work around of doing a custom paper size in the page set up or print module with margins set to 0 but it still prints with a border. My printer is an Epson ET-8550 - Ive updated everything I can on it but its made no difference. Any help would be hugely appreciated as I am really struggling! Is this a mac problem, an Adobe problem or an Epson problem? In hope! Mike
I think I am going crazy, but it seems to me one of the most fundamental ways to work with Survey mode in Lightroom Classic is broken in the recent release. I thought that I could look at a colletion of photos in Survey view, select one, go to the Loupe view, give it a star, reject it, pick it, click on the stars underneath, then go back to Survey and all or any of these operations are done on JUST the one photo. But now it seems, any and all of these selection/rating actions are being applied to ALL of the photos I've currently selected, even when I am in the Loupe mode, even when I just click under one photo. The only thing I seem to be able to do to one photo is to hit the X button and that removes it from the selected group as well as from the Survey view. I understand that the rationale here - I am applying these operations on ALL of the selected photos, but what's the use of Survey if I can't actually grade/label/flag individual photos? I am sure (
Issue: Lights Out mode causes screen to shrink a little Lightroom Classic Version Number: 13.3.1 OS Version Number: Sonoma 14.5 (23F79) Macbook Air 2022 - M2 Steps to reproduce: While Lighroom Classic is open on Laptop Monitor (laptop monitor only), pressing "L" causes the desktop size to shrink just a little. It appears the desktop as a whole will sit just below the laptop's camera. It will not go back to its normal size UNLESS Lightroom is not the primiary application selected. Pressing "L" to turn off "Lights Out" mode does not resolve the issue. It will remain unless I use one of the work arounds. My workarounds: Restart LR Making LR full screen, then windowed again Moving LR to a secondary monitor I attached a video of me switch applications with cmd+tab to show the odd bug that happens. Thank you for the help!
Hello everyone I keep my RAW files in my OneDrive folder so as to backup my files to my OneDrive. About a year ago, I had the issue that the library module started showing the normal file location on the drive, but also the same structure mirrored under "shortcut to OneDrive". When it started to do that, the import image selection process became extremely slow and lightroom would become unresponsive while it updated the future location of the imported images. After a Lightroom update this behaviour stopped and everything was fine this past year. Today I wanted to import 400 pictures and it took me 30min until Lightroom let me hit the "Import" button after updating the import location for this long. Anyone else with this issue? Anyone got a solution (except don't use OneDrive)? It appears to be a weird bug.

What is the best graphic card for LRC and photoshop?
Hello, am deaf from Czech Republic. Please me help problem.
This started happening recently. I use the functionality all the time when importing scanned negatives. To recreate: select multiple images and click the button to Edit Capture Time. Choose the "Adjust to a specified date and time" option. Enter a time in the corrected time box. Click "Change All". I expect each image to have the same date and time, as specified. Intead, each picture is set to a different date and time. I've seen the range of dates in the set being a couple of years or more. If I set each individual image separately it does seem to work (so far). I usually scan 4-5 rolls of film at a time and it is a major pain to have to edit 100+ images one at a time. LRC 14.1.1, Mac OSX 15.1.1
Hi AllFirstly I am using LRC 14.1.1 and CR 17.1 with PS 26.0My problem is when I try and open several images at once in LR to open as layers in PS ie..right-click> Edit in> Open as layers in Photoshop, it is 'greyed out' along with open as smart objects options in Photoshop and the merge to HDR and Panorama options. 1. I have more than one option selected2. I have tried selecting from both the grid and film strip options3. I have reset LR settings Nothing seems to work. I have tried to look through the community but nothing jumps out to me that I have not already tried. What's worse there is no issue on my wife's computer... Thanks in advance
Hello,my module does not show the tools for editing (see picture), how can I reactivate them?Thank you!
Importing files by USB from my Nikon Zf. have been problematic. I added a screen shot below illustrating the issue. I always Import and Copy to a destination on my PC. It will display 1 preview out of 30 files at times while the remaining are greyed out. At times It may show 25 previews and errors for the rest. If outside of Lightroom I browse the files using a card reader I have no issues. I can many times also read the card on the camera and copy and paste to a destination on my hd first, before them Importing to LR Classic and simply Adding them in place to the catalog. The main problem is just my common method of pluggin in, transferring to my PC and charging the camera. A second issue and this is weird but may be related. Just reading the files on camera I'll normally navigate there in file manager and as soon as I double click to open the folder, file manager closes. I don't normally cable up the Zf, as my laptop (Surface Book 3/W11/Nvidia) has a SD card reade
Allow Lightroom Classic to read system environment variables in presets. If I had a environment variable set on my system, such as YYYY= 2025And I used %YYYY% in a preset, such as ["com.adobe.copyright"] = "Bob Scola (c) %YYYY% Seattle WA "Then the preset would apply the string: Bob Scola (c) 2025 Seattle WA
I'm reorganizing my photos as a NY resolution and I have an entire drive of about 2tb of images that needed to be offloaded to RAID backup. So I created a new catalog and used the move option to put them on the RAID drive. After about an hour or two I start getting low space warnings on my C drive.I tracked it down to LRc making this obscenely huge file - 625GB and counting! This thing is in my user folder. First off there should be an option to relocate this file to another location.SSD's are very common for the boot drive and typically only 1 to 2 terabytes.I have no idea why Microsoft and others like Adobe make the rash assumption that everything needs to get dumped into a USER folder that cannot be easily relocated.Adobe - how can this get fixed? You allow me to specify a cache drive - why not other hungry settings?
HiI can't import any photos in LrC on my Macbook M4 Pro.When inserting an SD card in the computers slot, LrC recognises it and shows the card in the import window. But no photo previews are shown, so I can't import anything.I also can't import photos that are already on the harddisc. Again, no previews.I have no problems importing photos with Lightroom or Photoshop, only with Lightroom Classic. What do I do wrong? LrC is Version 14.1.1The Macbook runs Sequoia 15.2 Thanks for your help! Stefan
Hi, I would really appreciate some help with this problem as it is driving my mad! I think it must be something obvious but I just can't see it. I have been using lightroom classic for a few years now and this has been an ongoing problem. I have a macOS Monterey version 12.6, although this, the memory and the graphics are not the problem, as will be explained later. When my photos are imported from my camera to lightoom, the images always look more worse. I am importing them raw, I have tried all different options anyway, so nothing there is the problem. Once in lighroom on develop mode they automatically sharpened, but made to look much more grainy. I can then remove the grain with luminance, this is still annoying though, as original photos are so much clearer. I have previously been through the Lightroom preference menu and have tried all the different advice on all these settings, tried everything nothing worked. Now this is where thing
I updated my 2015 iMac to Mac OS Monterey and the Lightroom CC + Photoshop Apps. At first it was running great but now the masks are super slow. And in certain cases they apppear where I did not place them (when using the brush). I tried optimizing Lightroom but not sure it it's correct or not. Would appreciate some specific help please. iMac 5K retina late 2015 OS Monterey Processor 3.2 GHz Quad Core Intel Core i5 Memory 16GB 1867 MHz DDR3 Graphics AMD Radeon R9 M389 2 GB Lightoom Classic 13.3
Once a photo has been uploaded full size to lightroom mobile and then downloaded to classic you should have the option to remove the original from mobile and replace it with a smart preview. This is the response I got from tech support : "buy more storage space" When I said that I didn't need more they said to do this:1. upload images from Lightroom mobile2. then open lightroom web and download all those uploaded file to local storage3. after that delete those files from cloud to free up space.4. And then import those downloaded images in Lightroom classic. And sync them with cloud.Once you sync those images from classic then they will be uploaded as the previes in cloud which will consume very minimal space
I create 1:1 previews of all my photos, and for a long time now I've been having an issue where, when I select a bunch of newly edited images and I tell Lightroom to make 1:1 previews of all of them, it will inevitably get stuck in some image and never finish generating the preview. Which causes the preview generation process to stall forever (until it's killed). From what I've been able to tell, this always seems to happen with the last image in the selected group. The only solution I've found so far has been to restart Lightroom, after which I can tell it to once again make previews for the selected images and this time it will finish. This happens both when I use LR in my desktop and in my laptop. I don't think LR has been able to finish generating previews one single time on either machine in the last year (if not longer) without needing a restart first. I'm running Lightroom Classic 14.1.1, but this has been happening for several of the last versions of LR.&nbs
I am using LRC 14.1.1 on Windows 11 and am having issues with Keywords.I have a photo with 2 faces tagged:Marianne (Maria) Menechella (Biagio Sister)Spano (Menechella?)The photo has also been tagged with with those 2 keywords plus a third tag:Marianne (Maria) Menechella (Biagio Sister)Mary MenechellaSpano (Menechella?)When I change one of the faces to the third tag (Mary Menechella), that part of the Keyword Tree gets blown away.
