Lightroom Classic

Lightroom Classic 14.1 and 14.1.1MacOS 15.2 I am unable to add or edit keywords in the Library module. If I mouse-click in the keyword area nothing happens, it doesn't open to allow edits.

Good evening,For a few weeks now, when I want to crop an image using the orientation tool, black areas appear once the crop is complete and I have to crop again to remove them, whereas before everything was fine without these black areas appearing. Can you please help me identify the source of the problem?Best regards

I'm sharing this as a bug because it feels like it's a bug.When I add a photo to one of the services under Publish Service, LRC overwrites the meta data Capture Date with today's date.  I have a library that's very organized, by date, as it should be.  Not the date the file was created, but as accurately as possible, the date the photo was taken, which is more likely the date that the photo was originally developed.  We all know that scanning negatives does nothing for us when it comes to keeping track of chronology, so I have a script that stamps scanned photos with the correct date so importing into LRC results in the proper chronology. It seems that publish services screws that up.  After publishing a photo, all of the dates are re-written to the current date on the original. I want to be able to control this so the service to which I'm publishing the photo is also able to properly date the photo according to when the photo was taken, not when the new c

I've been having all sorts of issues with LrC and my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB. 😕😕**And yes, my drivers are up to date. I use studio drivers and update whenever a new one comes up. Because of the issues above, I no longer use GPU acceleration with LrC but my RTX 2060 is working fine with Photoshop and ON1 RAW. 🤷🏻‍ Are there GPUs known to work better with with LrC? RTX 3060? 4070?

Hi all, As I run LR Classic on my PC in develop mode it runs okay but as soon as I add radial filters, subject masks and some other adustments, LR slows down very fast that I can't work anymore so I have to reboot my whole computer. Building 1:1 previews and exporting to JPEG takes forever to complete.My PC specs: Intel Core i7-7820X CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz with 64GB internal memory and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti with 11GB memory.I did some research and I was told this problem is due to CPU/GPU performance.Clearly my PC is not capable anymore and I am also looking towards a Mac workstation, not a MacBook. I mainly use Lightroom Classic and use it for culling, building 1:1 previews (so I can zoom in to see if an image is sharp) and export. There are usually 2000-3000 images per catalog that I have to cull and will end up with 400 images that needs editing.I am looking towards the Mac Studio over the Mac Mini because it has more CPU/GPU.But the Mac Mini has the new M4 chip an

Hi, I have recently switched cameras from a Nikon Z7 to a Z8 and now, when importing files to lightroom classic, the standard previews are taking an age to build. The MP size is the same between cameras obviously but I am using the new HE* compression on the Z8. Could this be causing the issue?   For reference the previews took a couple of seconds for Z7 files but now take 6-7 minutes for z8 files (around 30 files). This is. a huge increase so clearly it's a software thing as these files are supposed to be smaller.   The machine is a 14" Mac Book Pro M1 1TB 32GB RAM with 10 core cpu, 16 core GPU, 380GB free space on internal SSD.   Anybody got any suggestions?

With the increasing usage of AI in Photoshop, Lightroom Classic & Topaz Photo AI, my aging 2017 iMac 27 is showing its age. I am currently looking at a Mac Studio M2 & a BenQ SW272Q as a replacement. The Mac Studio can be quite expensive with the memory & storage that I would like. But I can keep the price within reason with the use of external SSD drives. As for the BenQ display.... although it only has 2K resolution, my primary consideration is color accuracy. If I understand correctly, The BenQ SW227Q shares the same features as its 4K big brother (the SW272U), but minus the heftier price tag. I would appreciate the thoughts of those who have had experience with either the Mac Studio M2 or the BenQ SW272Q display in your photo processing work. I had to reinstall Lightroom Classic after 10 minutes of using it in the last update because the key shortcut to change between photos in the strip was changed from "right/left arrow" to "Ctrl + right/left arrow". Seriously? These keys are in opposite sides of my keyboard and this change was extremely inconvenient for my workflow. At least give us a menu to customize our shortcuts like all apps in the world have. 

Anyone please help me.My computer always shutdown when i'll use Adaptive Blur Feature in Lightroom Classic.What should i do ? Thank you 

Until this morning deniose in LR Clasic was working as usual. This afternoon, it stopped loading. I logged out and back into my acct. I then updated LR and then uninstalled and reinstalled LR Clasic.

I want to move Folders off my main computer to another hard drive so I can have more disk space on my main computer. Basically I want to store them off the main computer onto another hard drive. I can not find anything on just moving folders to another place - extra hard drive so I can create more space on my Mac HD.

Lens blur and people detection not working in lightroom.Error Message  =  " Something went wrong. there was an unexpected error and your request could not be completed." Sometimes, masking also not working after doing 3 or 4 photos maskings. I'm running 14.0.1 Lightroom Classic on my macbook pro.  I would like to see how my images in lightroom are going to look when printed.  I downloaded the ICC profile for the type of print I was doing and installed it in the "MacIntosh HD/Library/ColorSync/Profiles" folder and in my accounts Library/ColorSync/Profiles (just to be safe).  When in the developement mode checking "Soft Proofing" and selecting "other" under profile I get a box with no profiles.  I quit LR and restarted and still no profile.  Any ideas? I'm really not that concerned about color as I am the luminosity of the final print.  I know the dynamic range of a print is not going to be as large as my display device and I need to see what the final print would look like. This is my first attempt at trying at using print color management.  My previous prints I had to make several test prints making adjustments to get the desired luminance range.  When soft proofing will th

With each upgrade, my LRC and LR freeze for longer and longer. My system is Win 11 with heaps of storage space and 32 RAM. (and yes, I have the latest win updates and the laters drivers)The freeze happens not when I use graphic, but mostly when I interact with the file system. That is, when I load new photos (from a local drive) when I synch to Adobe cloud, and when I do similar operations like 'view file in Explorer' During this time the system will freeze for many minutes, and then release itself and all will be ok. It happens both with LR and LRC.  And with each update it seems to get worse. It freezes itself (LR or LRC) and Microsoft Explorer. That is, if I have another program already open and accessible on the screen I can use it. Hallo,ich bin am Verzweifeln: Ich nutze LR seit Jahren und habe einen Katalog mit etwa 90.000 Bilder. In den vergangenen Wochen kam es immer häufiger zu Abstürzen aufgrund von Fehlern im Katalog Mittlerweile ist gar kein Arbeiten mehr möglich, da der Fehler immer wieder nach kurzer Zeit auftaucht. Ich habe mittlerweile LR auf einem anderen Rechner installiert, den Katalog auf den neuen Rechner kopiert (Fotos liegen auf einem Server), aber das Problem taucht immer wieder auf. Ich habe noch zwei kleinere Katalog, die laufen einwandfrei. Leider habe ich keine Idee mehr, wie ich den Katalog wieder zum Laufen bringe. Help. For some reason LR now runs really slow and laggy. My CPU runs at or near 100% constantly. I have an i7 and Geforce RTX Studio 2060 Max-Q. It use to run lighting fast. After some updates I have issue. I have tried changing a bunch of setting with no bump in performance. Does anyone have some insight?

After updating MacOs to Sequoia 15.2 I can’t open lightroom classic 6.14 anymore. The list of catalogs is opened and at the first click the program closes and the warning comes out 'unexpected closing of Lightroom'Is there a solution to this problem?second question: with the latest version of LRC 14.1 can I upload the catalog of my current LRC 6.14?Thanks 

It's now 2024 and I work for more than 40 years with Adobe...why can't you fix the problem with LRC or L and .mov files which every Iphone produces nowadays.... No converting or whatsoever but just fix the code for LRC and L for importing and archieving VIDEO (.mov or .mp4 or whatsoever) !!!! We are in the new age century right?
