After updates LrC and Photoshop it's not possible to edit from LrC to Photoshop, only the Photoshop Beta version is visible after clicking the right mouse button. Any suggestions on how to integrate Photoshop 2025 into Lightroom Classic to open images out of LrC to Photoshop? I already restarted the computer.
Hi, Lightroom Classic (Also Lightroom) Keeps crashing for me.I updated to mac os sonoma, updated Lightroom, uninstalled and reinstaled, and installed older version.I can't get to disabling the GPU cause t crashes few seconds after startup.I have Macbook Pro 2019 16 inch with 16 GB RAM.What can I do?? I need to work on my events.
I've updated my apps and now Lightroom will only show Photoshop Beta when I select 'Edit in... 'The new version of Photoshop 2025 is installed but Lightroom does not recognize and only shows the 'Beta' version of Photoshop as a link to 'Edit in...' How do I get the new Photoshop 2025 to show up as the one I want to 'Edit in...' ?
Posting this incase it is an issue others are having and it needs to be looked into. Using crop I get a window popup "create virtual copy soft profing" and canot x out of it or try undo. So I am stuck leaving LrC unuseable. I can't even close LrC, I had to use task manager to force a close.I reopened LrC and tried the crop and it works now, so what happened don't know.

I made a performance test with different Windows notebooks and different MacBook Pro notebooks with Lightroom Classic Version 13.1. For the performance tests I used 222 different Nikon raw images from the Nikon Z 8 (each image has 45 MP). The power consumption of the "Asus ASUS ROG Zyphrus Duo 16 2023" was two / two and half times higher than the "MacBook Pro 16 M3 Max". Lightroom Classic used up to 34 GB RAM during the AI denoise. Sometimes (I couldn't identify why) an update is required for AI generative removes (red dot belo the icon). When using "updating all" button, the result is changed and person or object is added instead of keeping the previous result, which was adequate.1) I don't understand why such update is required2) I would expect the modified image would remain as it was performed previously (adequate version) and not reinterpreted again. Thanks for your help.I work now with v 14.0.1 (I do not remember whether it was also the case with v13.3 or not).

I am trying to import PNG files that already have intact metadata fields. I have been using the ExifTool (a standard tool for reading, writing, and editing EXIF metadata) to inject all the metadata I need into the PNG files, and most fields import correctly into Lightroom such as Title, Caption, and Copyright. The only field I'm struggling with is the keyword tags. If I have keywords such as "tag1, tag2, tag3" in the PNG metadata (located in the Subject, Keywords, or Weighted Flat Subject fields), when this is imported into Lightroom it gets assigned as a single keyword called "tag1, tag2, tag3" instead of separating them as individual keywords "tag1," "tag2," "tag3," (even though commas in keyword names are supposedly disallowed in Lightroom, since they are used to delimit keyword lists). Here is how it looks in the keyword list after import:The same happens if I delimit the keywords with semicolons in the PNG metadata, they are imported as a single keyword "tag1; tag2; tag3". If
Hi guys,I am a wedding photographer and web developer quite okay with colour spaces. So here is my problem. Adobe Lightroom Classic is using Adobe Colour profile for my images but when I export the images the image looks totally different. Before you think I am a newbi here is what I have done so far. 1. I understand colour space differences. I also used the soft proofing option within LR with sRGB profile to see how it will look. Soft proofing and develop module gives me the same look, but after exporting is totally oversaturated. 2. I am using my Dell Ultrasharp Premier Colour monitor calibrated to perfection and I am using the monitor in sRGB mode. 3. The exported image is oversaturated compared to LR on ANY DEVICEs. So I export the image, and that images looks exactly the same oversaturated on Iphone, Ipad, Samsung phones, and laptops. 4. I have the same version of Lightroom on my laptop, and if I export it there, it does not alter the settings. I use the s
I just upgraded to v 14 Lightroom classic and I cannot backup any of my 20 lightroom catalogs anymore after the upgrade. I get always this message: (Lightroom was unable to back up the catalog named "Lightroom Catalog-v13.5") please check your folder permissions, and make sure that you have available space on your backup drive and main catalog's drive. My permissions are fine, I have enough space left in my main catalog drive and my external backup drive where I stored all my backups perfectly fine until this new update. I back up on an external 8Tb drive with 5TB free. Also why when it has upgraded to v14 it still wants to save as v13.5 Ohhhhh upgrades are always such a pain......... Anybody has this happen to them too?
Just reinstalled creative cloud and lightroom on my computer. we have done a system upgrade and I have had lightroom on this computer before and it worked great. WE have upgraded the system to Windows 10 and lightroom still won't work. I have been reading troubleshooting blogs for over a week now and have tried numerous things. I have uninstalled and reinstalled lightroom probably 10 times. I have signed in and out of creative cloud 2758905382 times. I have deleted all associated old files from previous versions of lightroom. I have the latest up to date driver. At first I couldn't develop a picture. It would crash when I would copy settings. Then it started crashing after I woudl click to edit the next picture. Then I deleted a bunch of things and then it wouldn't import images (which I discovered was apparently because I had my printer plugged in??). Resolved the import issue but still can only edit one photo at a time and then it crashes. I used a Nikon d7100 with RAW files. Please
Hi! Not sure if this is a bug, or something I have to change in my preferences! I've just done the recent update and I am trying to export a photo and it choose also the one next to it and it export them both. Thank you in advance!
I've been syncing a lot of photos during the last year between my Lightroom Classic (13.5.1) and iPhone but suddenly this process stopped working. Can't find the problem, anyone who can help me?It only say: "syncing" but nothing happens for hours. Sometimes it works when i shut down Lightroom on my computer but then when I select new photos to sync it stops again.Mac OS Monteray 12.7.5iPhone 15 Pro iOS 17.6.1
Since a few days I have a problem with enhancing/denoising; all colour images (RAW/ARW/RW2/JPG/CR2) are displayed in only black/white "enhanced/denoised", have already reset Lightroom 12.5 (ABO until 2024), don't know why this suddenly no longer works. Please help! Lightroom Classic Version: 12.5Licence: Creative CloudLanguage setting: enOperating system: Windows 10 - Business EditionVersion: 10.0.19045Application architecture: x64
I have just upgraded to Lightroom Classic v14.0. When I quit the program and get the prompt to backup I try to backup. But it will not backup. I get a box stating that Lightroom can't backup. This is happening on both my MacBook Pro and Mac Pro. Both computers are running macOS 14.7 Sonoma. Is anybody else experencing this? Thanks.
All my edit history is gone after upgrading to version 14.0 in Lightroom Classic.I've been trying back ups from the days before. When I try one from before it says that I have to upgrade to a newer version. What do I do??
I just updated LrC today (14.0 release). Now, the images that I've edited/masked/denoise'd are not being exported (to .jpg) by LrC with those edits. Didn't ever have this issue prior to this app update. I need to export these photos with the edits ASAP for a client! macOS: Sonoma (14.6.1)Adobe Lightroom Classic - 14.0 release - Build [202410032041-b815649f]
The black photo is the original. I turned up exposure, shadows, and blacks all the way up, and it just looks really weird... any way to save these photos? 😞
Hi all, I wanted to share my frustration with Lightroom Classic because I’ve been having a really tough time since Version 13. It’s been super slow for months now, and it’s making it hard to use for my photography work. I have 64GB of RAM on my Apple Silicon device, and it used to run like a dream. But since upgrading to Version 13, it takes forever to import photos, adjust sliders, and render previews. The lag is really frustrating and is messing with my deadlines. The new version 14 is only worse. I’ve tried everything I can think of to fix it, but nothing has worked. It’s disappointing that this has been going on for so long. If anyone else is dealing with this or has any ideas, I’d love to hear from you! I really hope Adobe is aware of the issue and is working on a fix (we know they wont). For subscription charges they're fast tough. Thanks for your time! Best,Daniel
Looking to update my Export plugin to include a Content Credentials section in the export dialog but the SDK referenced shows no mention of what the entry in exportServiceProvider.showSections would be. Anyone know?
Hi,I have a question regarding HDR editing and export in the newest update to Lightroom.I've been testing it since yesterday, and in general, it works great—as long as I'm working on HDR displays and also viewing the exported files on an HDR display (e.g., on an iPhone or the internal HDR display on my MacBook). However, I've noticed that exported AVIF or JPG XL files are heavily clipped when displayed on a non-HDR display, such as the Apple Studio display. This behavior is different compared to HDR pictures created by the iPhone camera. Those show extended highlights when displayed on an HDR display but also exhibit nice tone mapping when displayed on a non-HDR display.I even tested it with Lightroom: I imported an HDR HEIF made on an iPhone into Lightroom, and Lightroom displayed it nicely in HDR during editing. I then exported it back to Apple Photos as an HDR AVIF. On the iPhone and MacBook HDR displays, the original and exported files looked essentially the same. However, when I mo
I am trying to merge 4 HDR photos at a time in a series of 16 so that I can then merge to Panoramic. The photos were taken with bracketing on automatically in my Canon camera. They are the same focal length and f-stop. I get an error message "Unable to merge photos. Please cancel and review your selection. " I have tried it with auto-align unchecked and auto settings unchecked but nothing is working. Any ideas of what is happening and how I can resolve the issue?
Just updated to LRC 14.0 and while testing Apple DNG denoise noticed it adds new objects to my Subject mask (after/because AI mask update?). In any case, this is an issue.First photo is the original mask, yellow marks in the second photo - "new" parts of that mask. What's going on?
