Up until recently they looked as they used to. Now they're flat looking and I need to add about 25-30 points of Contrast to liven them back up. And it doesn't matter if I change the Process Version to v6 or leave it where they were last on v5. Any suggestions? MacOS Sonoma 14.5

Hi all - I'd love some help here as I'm struggling to resolve this issue. For context, I send wedding galleries to an editor and she does her edits then sends me back the catalog. At that point her masks and spot removals don't show up unless I do a mass update of the AI settings. I usually go into Library Mode - Photo drop down -  develop settings - update ai settings, which usually works fine to update all that she's done on the images. However lately every time I click that, Lightroom freezes and I have to exit out via force quit applications because I can't get it out of the frozen updating of the ai settings pop up box. Can anyone shed some light? I can't get her edits to populate and it's a major headache. Thank so much    [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. Seit dem Umstieg von Nikon D610 auf Nikon Z6III wird bei RAW Aufnahmen bei Profilkorrekturen nur noch Integriert angezeigt. Bei der D610 wurde immer das benutzte Objektiv angezeigt, das ich auch auf der Z6III verwende, . Ich benutze Lightroom Classic 13.4 aber auch in der Vorgängerversion 13.3.1 wird nur Integriert angezeit. Manuell kann ich Tamron auswählen und sofort wird dann auch das Objektiv SP 24-70 F2,8 angezeigt. Hat jemand eine Idee?

 Have just started my first tethering. While I go Live I see full landscape frame so I can adjust the products to shoot. While I change my camera to portrait the live mode cuts the top and bottom of the frame making it impossible to frame the picture.  Could not find any button to set it to full verticle frame in live mode. Can someone guide me on this as 6o how do I see full live view on portrait mode.

Running LrC 13.4 and PS 25.11. Just starting yesterday, I cannot edit my raw file directly in PS from LrC.When I select Edit in Photoshop 2024, PS launches, but it doesn't open the raw file.As a workaround, I can open the file as a smart object (Edit in/ Open as Smart Object in Photoshop).But after editing, I get an error from trying to save the PSD file. The error message is "Error 2: photoshop is undefined. Line:1 ->" (see attached screen grab).When I return to LrC, the new PSD file does not appear in the Library unless I synchronize the folder.I also tried Edit in Photoshop from Lr (not classic). Doesn't work at all: "File could not be opened in Photoshop".When this issue appeared, I was running LrC 13.2. I tried upgrading to 13.4; didn't solve the issue.

I've been using LR Classic for quite a while (2011 I think), first with a Canon, then added an iPhone and an Olympus.  I have only one cagtalog to keep life simple.I always click "don't import susptected duplicates"For the Canon and the Olympus never a problem.  With various iPhones I have to pay close attention because sometimes it WILL import SOME duplicates, sometimes it gets it exactly right with no intervention.  I have all the latest operating systems and versions as of 13 August 2024iOS 17.6.1macOS Sonoma 14.6.1LRC 13.4Camera RAW 16.4I'm on a 2020 M1 Mac Mini and using an iPhone 13 Pro Max.Typically I format the SD cards on my Olympus after import.But I like having as much history on my iPhone as possible so I don't delete much.Today I did all the steps very slowly and carefully - I have screenehots along the way.I did an import from the iPhone just yesterday, so there were only about 4 images to importBut LR wanted to import many more.I unchecked some o

I'm working with stacks in Lightroom- anywhere from 3 to 7 exposures in each stack. When a single stack is slected for an HDR merge, I get a preview window with deghosting optoins. However, when I select all stacks and HDR merge as a group- I have no deghosting options. Does Lightroom use the previously selected deghosting option for all merges? If not, is there a way to tell lightroom which degree of deghosting to use before a group selection HDR merge? 

When I go to use the AI Denoise function, the preview window just has a grey screen instead of showing the image with denoise applied. After I click enhance, Lightroom Classic says there has been an unknown error and denoise could not be applied. The next screen says that there has been a GPU error. I've successfully used the denoise feature once before (a few days ago), so not sure what could have changed to cause the problem. I have just started playing around with face recognition.  My library is now over 100K.  Many of these are my kids sports events.  Not surprising I have captured many faces of people I don't know.  These strangers keep showing up as I create my face indexes.  It would be nice to have a key word to tell Lightroom to ignore these faces.  I started giving them the name of 'unknown', but I fear this is going to just bog down Lightroom's search algorithm over time. Does anyone know of a clever solution to this issue?

I recently updated my CC & LR Classic and now my catalogs appear to have lost all of their information. Obviously I still have all of the images however there is a fair amount of editing/retouching I have done that I may have lost. Is this something anyone else has experienced? Does anyone know how I could recover my catalogs as they were?   

I use Lightroom Classic's face recognition extensively across several catalogs for tagging people. It's worked relatively well, and continues to do so, EXCEPT for photos imported from my iPhone.  LR still scans for faces, but the vast majority just have a question mark, instead of suggested name. I'm dealing with several thousand images a month, so not having this function is an extra layer of cumbersome. It may be a simple fix, but I cannot seem to figure out what the variable is... ...and here's the thing: it seems to work on photos from OTHER people's phones. In other words, if someone else sends me an image from an iPhone 8 or iPhone 14, those images will auto fill with suggested names. The problem seems to be indigenous to my phone (iPhone 11 Pro Max), but I cannot figure out what it is.  Also, it does not seem to matter whether it's HEIC or JPG.  Thank you for any suggestions or advice! Lightroom Classic 13.2Mac Studio M1 Max, 32GB memory,

Recently I got the "! - File Could Not Be Found" warning in Lightroom, so I did a quick search and relinked the photo. BUT ... it was the wrong photo with the same name!How can I relink the photo to the correct photo?

Hi there,Didn't get any replies on this in the LR Forums, so will try here. 🙂I received 300+ photos to edit. Most are crops so resolutions are low.ENHANCE does a great job of giving me some meat to work with. Next comes the sharpening and noise reduction and I've been flipping the Enhanced DNG's that need that into Topaz Sharpen Ai as JPEGS to do it. Once I'm happy with those, I delete the DNG's which are pretty large files so I just have the jpgs left which I can further edit in LR then export for the client.During my workflow I compare some of the results, so I select the original, go into Compare View then use the arrow keys to compare it to the Enhanced and the Enhanced Edit (from Sharpen Ai). etc.The problem in Compare is there seems to be no way to lock the RELATIVE Zoom.The LOCK option causes them both to zoom the same amount relative to their individual original size ...so no locking of the 'relative' zoomThe SYNC option causes them both to pan in sync but if the Enhanc

Pourquoi une fois les retouches terminées dans le module développement, la photo est de moins bonne qualité dans la bibliothèque et même chose une fois exportée?

Lightroom classic will not open for me tonight!! the whole icon just disappeared so i redownloaded the software. then everytime i try to open it, it says not responding on my mac. HELP! I have so much editing to do. 

I find that my HDR edits to my photos will not export no matter the file type. I've tried viewing on different apps but none have the HDR edits on them. I'm on Mac so I airdropped the images to my iPhone 12 which apparently has an HDR display, but the HDR edits are also not there.  Here are my edits and what I want to export in Lightroom:For some reason the screenshot doesn't even capture the HDR. I'm seeing more of a blue sky.And this is what I get when I export PNG (with HDR output checked): And with JPEG:Please let me know what I am forgetting.

Is it still possible to us scripts in Lr Classic?

LR Classic on Windows 11 with a 4K high DPI monitor. Most of the UI scales appropriately, but in survey view the ttributes (e.g. stars) below each image are too small to click or easily see. [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

Hello, I bought some presets, and they all showed up but two. I already have checked in preferences to show the visibility of incompatible presets. Not sure what to do 😞 it's the Vintage Sepia 1 & Vintage Sepia 1 Grain

Hey, I'm not sure if this is intended functionality but it's not desired, at least for me.Take an image into PS for some editing which might include a re-size/crop that creates a slightly different aspect ratio due to rounding (for the sake of testing just crop the image square). Save the image back to LRc and then change to a new image and "settings > paste settings from previous" At this point LRc will crop the image to match the aspect ratio of the source image even though it has not been cropped in LRc and does not indicate it's cropped either with the thumbnail badge or dot under the crop tool icon.Attached video shows this in action, source image is square but wasn't cropped by LRc.Should LRc be automatically cropping images to match the aspect ratio of images it hasn't cropped?

Hi there!   I keep getting a notification pop up when I open Lightroom - "your catalog will be upgraded in order to access the latest changes in this newer version of Lightroom Classic."   It will then show:   Current Catalog as: Lightroom Catalog-v12.lrcat Upgraded Catalog: Lightroom Catalog-v13-4-4   The odd thing is that my actual catalog is -v13-4-3. I try to choose a different catalog and select "always choose this catalog", but still coming up with the same error after closing and then opening Lightroom again.   Does anyone have any recommendations for how to fix this? I just updated the catalog too, so I shouldn't be receiving this error.  

For some reason, my LIghtroom window has this grey bar with  camera data in it. I can't figure out how to remove it. Please advise!

When importing images into LR classic, the program does the saturation itself, and the images remain dark. How to prevent it?
