Lightroom Classic

hello  all   i hav ejust a small question , since a few wekks i have the following when I wanna use a mask in LrC same stuff for the filters    what can it be  ans is there a way to corect it , im on latest Mac OS    anny help is welcome 

In 13.x I had published services. The LrC screen showed what is published, altered or new.In my new version 14.0.1 in Windows 11, these indications are lost. The publishing services screen show like a normal grid view.Publising services does not work any longer, also not after forcing it with a right mouse click and choosing the option.

I keep all my images on an external hard-drive but the LR catalogues on my PC. The hard drive is showing signs of problems so I have bought a new SSD which is also double the capacity and should giver me faster access. It is a Windows 11 PC.I want to now move all the images to thd new drive. However, I'm told only the catalogue that is open at the time I move the images will update to the new location but I have three catalogues I use (I used to  use an all images catalogue but by breaking it down into smaller catalogues considerably improved speed of loading and processing images).I would normally do the  move from LR. How can I update all the catalogues ratherr than just the one opoen when I make the move?Alternatively, it has been suggested that I use File Explorer to move all the images and then simply rename the new drive to the drive letter of the old drive and the catalogues will then work without modification. Is that true? Any advice is welcome

A couple of photos showing as unable to build smart sync. So tried to run a synchronise on the folder. The above error pop up. Please advise ..  

Bonjour, Lorsqu'on souhaite éditer un livre en pdf avec le module Livres, on n'a le choix qu'entre 8 formats. Même pas le format A4... Vous ne trouvez pas anormal qu'il ne soit pas possible de fixer soi-même la gargeur et hauteur des feuilles, pour un logiciel de cette qualité? Ou alors j'ai raté quelque chose!   dans l'attente de votre avis ou de votre éclairage

In lightroom it is possible to make an HDR but it is necessary to use a very large photographic service and to perform many HDR. It is possible to join the photo in PILE and select all the PILE to launch multiple HDR with the same Shift+control+H (for MAC).In this way we lanciamo degli HDR su più scene contemporaneously.Purtroppo is not possible but (in this way) you will access the panel of the options to regulate the GOST effect!Do you not have a positive idea to launch the HDR multiplies and to communicate that you have the panel of the first options that are part of the elaboration?

Dear Community, my workflow is (since many years) to first view my images (Sony ARW-Raw files) and add Caption and Copyright info in the programme Photomechanic https://home.camerabits.com/tour-photo-mechanic/ .My problem is, that after importing the raw-files (and the xmp-files) to Lightroom Classic the image caption (from photomechanic) is not seeing or showed any more by Lightroom Classic. The Caption-fields in Lightroom Classics are empty, the information gets lost (in Lightroom and after exporting from Lightroom).I think I didn`t change any import preferences in Lightroom Classic (V. 13.5.1 / Mac OSX Ventura 13.5.2).Does anyone ever had the problem or has an idea on how to solve the issue in Lightroom Classic?I contacted Photomechanic support and everything with the written metadata is fine. Many thanks, Heiko 

Hey y'all,   For some reason when I tried to sync 3 new albums from 3 recent photoshoots today between my LR classic on my desktop (where the images were originally uploaded and albums were originally created) and my LR on my laptop, the albums are syncing with a mixture of the correct images for those albums and totally random images that were uploaded months ago from a variety of different albums. I've attached a picture where I circled the random images - the red circles are from one photoshot/album and the green ones are from another photoshoot/album, both from several months ago.    I tried chatting with an adobe agent who suggest I try optimizing the catalog and creating a new catalog to which I import the old catalog but neither fixed the issue.    Has anyone ever expierenced this issue before/know how to remedy it?   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

I've seen this be reported on a handful of times over the last week or so but there hasn't been any real response from Adobe with the only "fix" I've seen is to switch to windows and buy a new GPU. It's slowing my workflow to a halt and have so much to get done with no fix in sight. I've tried everything from downgrading versions, turning off GPU acceleration, optimising catalog, clearing caches, turning off syncing, using smart previews but nothing seems to work. I have about 10 minutes of editing before it starts to slow to unusable levels and I have to reboot my MacBook. I'm using an M1 Pro any only editing Canon 5d mk4 files so nothing even too intense and it seems other people seem to be having the same issue on similar hardware. Literally any help at this point would be amazing. 

I have found the latest version 12 requires updating of ALL previous image edits undertaken using AI masks.Open edited images where masks have been used, select masks and message appears alongside a triangle with a ! : "Some AI masks need to be updated". Anyone else find this problem? Any simple solution or do I now have to re-edit all images because the new masks in version 12 corrupt work done in prior versions?!Mac OS Monterey v12.6

Where do I find the Fixes in Version 14 and 14.0.1?

After updates LrC and Photoshop it's not possible to edit from LrC to Photoshop, only the Photoshop Beta version is visible after clicking  the right mouse button. Any suggestions on how to integrate Photoshop 2025 into Lightroom Classic to open images out of LrC to Photoshop? I already restarted the computer.

Hi, Lightroom Classic (Also Lightroom) Keeps crashing for me.I updated to mac os sonoma, updated Lightroom, uninstalled and reinstaled, and installed older version.I can't get to disabling the GPU cause t crashes few seconds after startup.I have Macbook Pro 2019 16 inch with 16 GB RAM.What can I do?? I need to work on my events.

I've updated my apps and now Lightroom will only show Photoshop Beta when I select 'Edit in... 'The new version of Photoshop 2025 is installed but Lightroom does not recognize and only shows the 'Beta' version of Photoshop as a link to 'Edit in...' How do I get the new Photoshop 2025 to show up as the one I want to 'Edit in...' ?

Posting this incase it is an issue others are having and it needs to be looked into. Using crop I get a window popup "create virtual copy soft profing" and canot x out of it or try undo. So I am stuck leaving LrC unuseable. I can't even close LrC, I had to use task manager to force a close.I reopened LrC and tried the crop and it works now, so what happened don't know.

Estou com erro ao vincular a camera no lightroom, ele não reconhece, Já esta na versão mais nova do programa e nada de reconhecer, ele fica naquela janela de busca da camera, eu consigo vincular a camera pelo software da camera, que no meu caso é da Canon, eu conecto pelo eos utility, algo que já me fez descartar problemas no cabo, Alguém já passou por isso ? Tem alguma solução?, Eu não consigo relatar esse problema para a adobe, aaaaa, não sei se ajuda eu trabalho num mac book air m1. valeu!!!

I made a performance test with different Windows notebooks and different MacBook Pro notebooks with Lightroom Classic Version 13.1. For the performance tests I used 222 different Nikon raw images from the Nikon Z 8 (each image has 45 MP). The power consumption of the "Asus ASUS ROG Zyphrus Duo 16 2023" was two / two and half times higher than the "MacBook Pro 16 M3 Max". Lightroom Classic used up to 34 GB RAM during the AI denoise. Sometimes (I couldn't identify why) an update is required for AI generative removes (red dot belo the icon).When using "updating all" button, the result is changed and person or object is added instead of keeping the previous result, which was adequate.1) I don't understand why such update is required2) I would expect the modified image would remain as it was performed previously (adequate version) and not reinterpreted again.Thanks for your help.I work now with v 14.0.1 (I do not remember whether it was also the case with v13.3 or not).

I am trying to import PNG files that already have intact metadata fields. I have been using the ExifTool (a standard tool for reading, writing, and editing EXIF metadata) to inject all the metadata I need into the PNG files, and most fields import correctly into Lightroom such as Title, Caption, and Copyright. The only field I'm struggling with is the keyword tags. If I have keywords such as "tag1, tag2, tag3" in the PNG metadata (located in the Subject, Keywords, or Weighted Flat Subject fields), when this is imported into Lightroom it gets assigned as a single keyword called "tag1, tag2, tag3" instead of separating them as individual keywords "tag1," "tag2," "tag3," (even though commas in keyword names are supposedly disallowed in Lightroom, since they are used to delimit keyword lists).
