Lightroom Classic

Hallo,Bin einen neuen LRC User aus Luxemburg.Da wir hier sowohl die Deutsche wie die Französische Sprache benutzen, bediene ich meinen PC mit eine D/CH - Tastatur.LRC ist auf Französisch, könnte aber auch auf Deutsch umgestellt werden.Ich suche wie ich den Shortcut für "Vorher" auf meine Tastatur benutzen kann. Der ist laut Tabelle "\". Jedoch muss ich auf meine Tastatur dafür "CTRL+ALT+<" zusammen drücken für auf das Sonderzeichen zu kommen.Das scheint aber auf LRC nicht zu funktionnieren?Kennt Ihr eine Lösung?Mir ist bekannt dass mann mit "Y" auch auf "Vorher/Nachher" schalten kann, aber mir würde nur die "Vorher" Anzeige interessieren.Vielen Dank für eurer Hilfe,Max

Hello,I've just noticed that my imported profiles have disappeared. I used them the other day so whatever happened might have occured with the installation of v13.4.I hit the + key and went to Manage Profiles and my imported profiles are all gone. I'm guessing they are likely somewhere on my HD but do not know where or why this happened. I'm running a Mac with OS 14.1.2. Any help would be appreciated.Mark

This is from an Adobe support call that terminated.   Thought I'd try here before I place a support call on Monday.My data is on a Synology 1522+ NAS with a synced library. On startup, an lrcat-shm and lrcat-wal file are created on the Mac but never appears on the NAS. When that happens, those files are created again. That keep repeating until LrC finally terminates.This has been working fine for two years. The problem started after I deleted some old LR backup files two days ago.I also have a call open with Synology as I thought it was a Synology shared folder sync issue. They think it's an Adobe issue.

I'm facing an issue with the LRC latest version.As soon as I try to apply the AI noise reduction to a raw file produced with my Olympus M1, I get a generic error message and the NR is not applied.Note that it worked with the previous version of LRC and still works with Camera Raw.Any idea?Thanks 

Lightroom Classic layered editing is not working properly.  I was just on with support for about an hour and they kept trying to make the file export with the layered edits, and they were unable to assist me in making it work. They recommended I use Photoshop instead.... it is disappointing to not be able to use a feature within a system.... Please fix the layered edits, so they will export with the file.  For example, if you look at the attached file, the thumbnail is showing the image fully edited, but when you open the file, it is darker and not applying the layered edits that appear on the thumbnail version.

I am having crash Problems with my Aorus Gaming Computer.    LR V13.3 after sitting idle for a few minutes crashes.   Graphics Card is and NVIDIA 3080 (Photo/Video install). I added all the programs to use the NVIDIA GPU via windows and the NVIDIA menu Lightroom hangs regularly and sends in a crash report.      Photoshop changes itself back to the intergrated Graphics Card when it feels like lol.   Help anyone.  TIA   [Moved to a separate thread by moderator, because this is an entirely different problem than the one posted to]

I'm having trouble migrating from Windows to Mac using 13.4 on a new Apple Mac M2 Studio. I can read in the catalog just fine, it updates it to the new format for 13.4.  To update the path to where I've stored the pictures on the Mac, I right click on the folder on the left side of the "Library" module, and choose where the photos now reside on my Mac (they're on a external disk). I get Lightroom error "Internal error has occurred. Invalid path."   I've tried reading the catalog on a Windows laptop, and updating the path in Windows to a local directory on the laptop, the copying it to the Mac and trying again, something that was recommended by the following thread:   https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/lrc-will-not-open-a-catalogue/td-p/14720962   But I did the entire procedure on the Windows laptop in 13.4, since I don't know how to revert to version 12.  It didn't work, with a different error - the Mac got into a seemingly infini

Hello.. I was trying to install a copy of Lightroom 6 to a new computer and got the message that I had to deactivate some copies.  I went to my account and Lightroom 6 was wiped from my list of apps.  I called tech support and they told me that my email was no longer tied to the serial number and they couldn't tell me which email was.  I told them that I bought Lightroom 6 new and use it almost every day for years and that it's my copy and serial number. I asked how it's possible that someone else's email is tied to my serial number and they replied "Maybe you sold it1" (LOL). I looked online about selling a license and it said that in order to sell a license both seller and buyer have to fill out a form and submit it to Adobe. That never happened(or at least I never filled out a form), so the license has been stolen from me. Who do I contact(do they have a security department?) to find out how my license was transferred without my permission and how I get it back... tha

I'm simply trying to sort all of my presets into certain groups but for some reason it creates a different group each time I create a preset. For example I wanted to add presets to just the "concert" group but everytime I want to add another preset to the concert group it adds another group. How do I put them all in just one group rather then having multiple groups. Let me know, thank you!

I selected the "Use smart previews instead of originals for image editing" optioin but I've noticed that it is slower than when I work without the originals connected.

I use a powerful latest generation MacBook with the latest version of Sonoma (14.5) - secondary monitor is the LG 5k from the Apple Store. It seems that latest upgrad of LrC to 13.4 caused major havoc in the management of monitors within LrC! Working with secondary window is since a few days actually impossible. The error situations are various and unpredictable. Lightroom Classic won't open a catalogue even after i deleted CURRENT from the .lrcat-data folder and reinstalled the LrC again. Help, please. 

Today, I lost some time-intensiive TIFF edits after some source files got renamed outside of LRC.   Current LRC functionality uses XMPs to capture RAW edit-settings that can be used later to reappy edits to a RAW original.  That same functionality is needed for any file format LRC supports.   Propose that when the user goes to Settings> Copy Settings> in resulting GUI dialog there is an option to Save these edit settings out to a flat file that can be used to later reapply edits to an original.  Specfically, I would save out the edit-settings file using same name as the photograph and keep it forever in case of a LRC catalog catastrophy or user error.   This is some easy, common sense functionality that would allow the user self-medicate. . .[moderator - moved from the Robohelp forum]

I am trying to export my keywords from my desktop and import them into a new catalog on my laptop. I have done this seemlessly in the past however now I am getting the message below: The file cannot be imported, because it contains corrupted data. appreciate any advise.Thanks so much

Example of issue  Hello,I am running Windows 11, Lightroom Classic 13.4, then reverted to 13.02 I have a Lightroom Classic catalog that will not open.  I had Lightroom open with a different catalog, then tried to open this catalog and now it is stuck.  I am experienced with the program but have never encountered this issue. I have a .lock file, I tried removing it, but that doesn't solve the problem. The .lrcat-shm and lrcat-wal files are continuously loading and deleting, see attached video file. I copied the catalog's folder and tried opening it off of a different drive, and the files in the original drive folder are looping again as if they are linked.  I reverted back to 13.02 from 13.4, but that didn't change anything.  I cannot open any other catalogs, it keeps reverting to this original one, even if I directly open a completely different catalog.    Clicking on Lightroom Classic and holding the ALT key do

Very strange:When I import photo's into lightroom today,I do not see them in finder(mac)When I'm in lightroom and click right on the foto "show in finder" then after this I see them.also when I exported a photo I can't find them in the map where I exported to.I can't find the map????It worked fine for years but now I have this problem.  

As above. Since upgrading to LrC the program slow to the point of being almost unresponsive whenever it is synchronising with the cloud. Nothing else on my sysyem has changed.Mac OS Sonoma 14.5, Macbook Pro, 64Gb , AMD Radeon Pro 5600M Graphics 8Gb 

I'm been working in Lightroom Classic (v. 13.4) and I've just started using Bridge (14.1.1.274) as well, on a Mac, OS Sonoma 14.5.   I work with JPEGS, not RAW. I noticed that several of my photos in LrC indicated metadata conflicts, so I started experimenting with both "Overwrite [file] Settings" and "Import Settings from Disk."  Neither works as I would expect. If I make a metadata or keyword change in LrC, and then respond to the resulting metadata conflict flagged in LrC by choosing "Overwrite Settings," LrC updates the changed metadata/keywords in the disk file (as seen in Br) as expected.  But it also updates Date Created (Finder) / Date File Created (Br File Info) to the current date.  (It does leave Date Created (Br File Info),  Date Created (ITPC Core), and Date Time Original (EXIF) unchanged.) On the other hand, if I make a metadata or keyword change in for an image in Br, and then (in LrC) respond to the resulting metada

Lightroom V13.4 is spontaneously shutting down. The first few times I just reopened it and continued on my project. This last time all my work was lost! I had 735 images of the 3300 shot all ranked and edited and all 5 days of work are gone. How can I recover my work?The only file affected was the one I had open. All others from prior shoots are intact

Bij gebruik van lightroom classic (openen en bewerken van foto's) worden gegevens opgeslagen in One Drive, waardoor mijn opslag vol is.  Kan ik dit voorkomen? 

Hi AllTrying to export some 600ppi jpegs but get an image constraint message and it lowers the ppi. I've tried searching for an answer and see thsis issue has been raised before but cant find a solution? As the images are an odd size (open opera manuscript) i've tried on smaller images but it wont let me go over 300ppi on anything. Am I missing something obvious here as it was okay with 600ppi last week?TIA

What does it mean when there's an exclamation point on the cloud icon in the upper right?  Thank you!
