Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I am kicking myself for not being more aware while cleaning up my Lightroom. I have accidentally permanently deleted about 10 important photos. Is there any way at all to ever recover these or are they truly gone forever? Using cloud based lighteoom!

Can you please add like feature to show on grid and column view vs only in single photo view for myself as the publisher and the viewer from link. Thanks 

Hi,  First timer.  I want to shrink hundreds of JPEG photos on a thumb drive using my desktop computer.  Currently 2 to 4 MB each.  Can that be done automaticallly as a group if I specify a size desired?  (Maybe 600 KB)    Thanks!

Hi folks. Have been using both LR/LR Classic on my laptop for a while. Of late have been doing simple edits on my jobs using just the LR version. Yesterday I opened LR, and under the 'Cloud' tab, I see no photos in my 'All Photos' tab (there were a few thousand), nor do I see anything when I go to the top and click on the 'Local' tab. Nothing at all, no drives, no branches out of folders, absolutely zero. I have closed LR down and restarted a few times. I have also reloaded the whole Adobe Cloud Suite and opened LR once done, but still nothing. Is there a missing connection between LR and where it should be pointing to to find catalog/files etc??  Im a computer gumby so go easy pls lol !!  I just need basic steps to try out and correct hopefully.

Greetings. I have an issue that may be routine to many of you, but has left me flummoxed. Somehow,  during a data migration to my current computer (an Imac m3), something happened.  My lightroom catalog tranferred over, and everything looks good, but all of my collections are gone. I had a good number of edited photos in there and right now it seems like I'm going to have to start over. I'm pretty sure (haven't checked) that the collections should be backed up on an external hard drive. Is there a way to move the Collections folder from the external hard drive to my computer? Will it just appear in its proper place in Lighroom? Or do I have to start over sorting and developing photos? If anyone has an answer, I would be thankful. Please explain the steps in simple terms if possible. If you get too technical, I'll just be sitting here open-mouthed and confused. Thank you in advance. I'll check for a response in a few days. Hi, I have a total noob question. I would like to create a photo album that's 12x14. So the photos will be quite large. I have all the raw photos that I uploaded into Lightroom, made the edits and then exported them in JPG so that I could upload them to Snapfish to make the photo album. The problem that I'm running into is that Snapfish recommends that the image mb size be around 10mb or more especially for large images. A ton of my exported images are 4-5mb, even though the original raw files are around 20-50mb.I don't want to put together a whole album and pay hundreds of dollars only to receive an album that looks terrible. Yet, when I go to export the images, I select JPG and highest quality, and that's the file size I get. So what's going on here? Am I missing something? Is there some setting that I'm missing? Or am I ok with using those JPGs and everything will be fine?Also, Snapfish has some really good rates on albums this month, but I would like to get a really high quality ph

Hello, I need help trying to figure out why my app keeps crashing on my desktop. It has been happening when I try to edit, scrolling through images too fast, and even when trying to export. I have had my task manager up while editing to try and see if anything is out of sorts, but everything is in working order, as far as the system goes. Everything is updated to the latest drivers.If there is anything else that is needed let me know.  This has become a nightmare for my work-flow

Hello, I’m reaching out because recently, the photos I import into Lightroom appear in very low quality. The image looks fine at first glance, but when I zoom in a bit, there are no details visible; everything is pixelated. However, on my computer/camera, I can zoom in a lot while maintaining perfect quality. This issue prevents me from cropping my images, which is quite frustrating when I see the final result after exporting. I hope someone has experienced the same problem and that there’s a way to resolve it. Thank you!Have a great day!

Alle Schieberegler unter >>Bearbeiten>>Licht sind danach eingefroren, nur ein Restart von LR ermöglicht dann eine Weiterbearbeitung.

This is an issue that never happened before but appeared after the latest update. Issue is that Lightroom goes back to Square Grid view after zooming in and out on a photo in Detail view. Expected behavior (and how LR always worked) is that I will see the photo still in Detail view after I zoom out.Steps to reproduce issue:1. View photos in Detail view2. Click on photo to zoom in3. Click again on photo to zoom outIssue happens infrequently. Sometimes after I zoom in and out once and sometimes after doing it a few times. 今回のアップデート後から1つの動作で角度調整をしている時に、意図せずトリミングされていき角度調整後に画像サイズを変更しないといけなくなった。添付画像は指を離さず1つの動作で行っております。今までだとそのまま角度を戻すことで画角を変更しなくてすんでいました。   

Just wondering if anyone experiecing what I am with the Lightroom CC and if there is a way to fix it. I'm new to Lightroom, but not photography. I usually just use good ol Photoshop, but recently went on a trip where I took thousands of photos and wanted an easy way to batch edit and organize - Lightroom CC. The issue: Last week I edited over 100 photos and when I picked it back up this week all my edits were messed up, everything was super dark and not how I had edited things. Dehaze also makes my photo go black now if its not set to zero. In order to edit these photos I started with a preset and made some of my own edits to the preset and applied and tweeked to the other 100+ photos. At the time I also had to force quit Lightroom when I was done because it legitamittly wouldn't close out the program otherwise. Is there any way to fix this? Or do I really have to edit the 100+ photos again that took me hours.

I want to migrate from Windows 11 Lightroom Classic (LRC) to LR, but I need to figure out the details. I have synced some images and edited them in Lightroom, but they are not "originals," so features like Enhance won't work on them. Importing them as .dng files still doesn't create originals, resulting in duplicates with the edits included. Is there an easy way to find these duplicates? Additionally, since I have only 1TB of space, I would like to use OneDrive as a NAS until the images are stored in Adobe Cloud.

Lightroom for iOS lets me edit in HDR (although I have to use the macOS app if I want to merge bracketed shots). I haven't figured out how to show the results to anyone else on iOS, though: AVIF files support HDR, and I can see them properly once exported to Photos, but are sent as non-image files in MessagesJXL files support HDR, and I can see them properly in Photos, but they do not seem to survive being sent in Messages: the other user sees a washed out, compressed range rather than an expanded oneJPEG with gain maps aren't supported by iOS HDR is a bit of a lonely experience. It is frustrating that the one format properly supported by iOS (HEIC) is not an export format for Lightroom. Does anyone have a reasonable solution to share HDR images with friends? 

I'm working in the Lightroom Web application.  I've been searching but cannot find a way to duplicate the HDR/Panorama function that is in Lightroom Classic.  Am I missing something?
