Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I have no interest in the AI assistant or any AI features. Please consider adding a toggle to disable all of these from the interface (see Lightroom mobile). Apple do this with “apple intelligence”.  Many photographers are opposed to AI in photography because it’s taking away livelihoods. Please consider adding this toggle. 

Under “Distraction Removal,” the desktop version of Lightroom has automatic detection of dust spots (and other things, but that’s not why I’m writing in):This is an extremely useful time-saving feature.Unfortunately I do most of my editing on the go on an iPad Pro and these edits don’t transfer over to your photos when you view them on the iPad version of Lightroom. You’re invited to “update AI edits,” where the app tells you essentially that there’s a version mismatch between the canonical photo (w/ dust removed) and the one your iPad can load (because it doesn’t support dust removal), and tells you your only choice is to take away the dust removal:This is really bad for users and not how cloud software should work. My iPad has an M4 in it; it’s more powerful in performance terms than my desktop computer. At a minimum you should allow read-only loading of dust removal on the iPad. Please implement this on the iPad!

I switched my workstation from Windows to Linux and Adobe Lightroom is the only app I can't use now. It would be nice if Lightroom had native support including GPU acceleration on Linux. I would love to keep using it instead of migrating to something else. 

Many often times I find my Lightroom running slow or sluggish on network package sending and receiving… It appears stalled so then I noticed these other tabs involving other peoples work which I have no interest in seeing and you are forcing this into an application that is licensed primarily for professionals so do everyone a favor and remove this feature/horrible idea from the creative cloud ecosystem and just make another platform because it does not belong in side of light room

Current search at Adobe Exchange for LrC plugin is over loaded with thousands of presets packages which does not allow users to find other practical LrC plugins or functional extensions.Add filter for Adobe Exchange to hide all the preset/presets packages, so we can explore some real useful plugins. Hi, I have an issue with Lightroom (installed from the adobe cloud).  Search is broken for me all the time when searching for words in file names. I can't get it to come back with any results for anything.  It says "Oh no! A blackhole"

Hi, I just have a quick question, i got the iphone 14 Pro today and i have noticed there is no way to take a 48 MP image from it within LRM, they are 12mp at the moment even in DNG, so i was wondering if the full resolution of 48PM from the main camera be possible in a future release??Thank you for your time.    Stephane

Please add the ability to save and recall custom white balance settings in the Lightroom Mobile camera, especially in Pro mode. For accurate and consistent color, I use a neutral gray card to set white balance before shooting.[Moved to Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based) by a moderator］

Prior to version 9.4, if you pressed T while selecting an image that was already in the target album, a warning prompt would appear to confirm you want to remove the image from the target album if you hadn't previously marked the "Remove photo from album" prompt as "Don't show again". As of version 9.4, removing a photo from an album via T is treated differently from other methods of removing photos, and this prompt isn't shown. This is a very negative change. On slower systems (or whenever Lightroom is mysteriously performing worse than it should on all my very diverse systems despite Adobe not being able to identify any issues) the toast notification that pops up when pressing T, as well as the count of photos on the album list were both so laggy that this warning prompt was the only safety net I could rely on when quickly adding photos to a target album if I had to press T multiple times because I wasn't sure if it registered the first time. Furthermore, as you can't quickly see if

I create photo books with lots of text and photos. To align text and photos I most of the time have “Grid Snap” set to “Cells”. But sometimes there is a need to place something a bit beside an already existing frame and then one has to set “Grid Snap” to “Off” and when done set it back to “Cells”.What I would like to see is something like press “Shift” while using cursor to move the cell in question. The “Shift + “Cell move” set the “Grid Snap” temporarily to “Off”. When the move is done and “Shift” is released the “Grid Snap” is returned to “Cells".This functionality would improve the workflow a lot in the Book module.

Maybe a sync button, or a way to export the presets into a file and then import them to the desktop version

Lightroom for Android supports HDR editing in all HDR capable google pixels aside from the Pixel 10 series, even though the screen technology is the same as what was found in the previous 9 series which is supported. Could you add this feature to these newer devices? 

Adobe needs to include IPTC information in the file INFO in Lr CC. This is the industry standard for file information and a requirement of most photo agencies, so why isn't it in CC? Cloud storage is great but without IPTC it's not of much use to those submitting to an agency.

I pay for a subscription mainly to access community presets in the recommended tab. You changed this section to no longer include the sub categories (dark, warm, cinematic, etc). No idea why you’d remove that. Without it I won’t have a need for a paid subscription any longer 

When naming a person Lightroom pops up a face and asks if it is the same person. The picture shown is just the face, and it is not very clear or else there would not be any question.The choices are Yes / no. please add a way to view the complete picture(s) of the face in question as part of the choices. Now I have to say NO then search for the picture to be sure.

I bought iPad Pro, but I can't add captions to multiple photos at once, something I can do on Samsung devices

Dear Adobe Lightroom Team, I am writing to complain about a long-standing issue with Lightroom Mobile on Android: imported photographs are displayed from the last shot to the first shot by default. For photographers working through an actual shoot, this is backwards. If I photograph a sequence from image 001 through image 500, I expect Lightroom to show me 001 first and allow me to work forward through the shoot chronologically. Instead, Lightroom shows the newest photograph first, forcing me to select Reverse Order. The bigger problem is that Lightroom does not provide a proper global preference to make chronological, oldest-to-newest sorting my permanent default. I have been dealing with this behaviour for a very long time, and having to repeatedly reverse the order is an unnecessary frustration in an otherwise excellent mobile photography workflow. I specifically use Lightroom Mobile/Cloud and do not want Lightroom Classic to be the solution. Your latest update which I wish I hadn't updated to has removed the choose your best photo feature on mobile Android devices. It wasn't perfect, but it was a good place to start my editing process.

It would be great to have an option in Lightroom to use the metadata Title field as the exported filename.For photographers who publish images online, this would make it much easier to use meaningful, SEO-friendly filenames directly from Lightroom, without having to rename files after export. I think it could save quite a bit of time in many workflows.

(feature request for  as per reply)Right now, if my display isn’t 1000 nits or whatever, HDR highlights above the available headroom are simply clipped, which makes the image look ugly.I can understand why this might be useful in Edit mode for a more “accurate” view, but in View mode I think the image should be tone-mapped to fit the display.Interestingly, Lightroom for web already works this way: when viewing pictures, the highlights are properly compressed (at least on Chrome), while Edit mode looks the same as the native apps and remains clipped.It would be nice to be able to properly view HDR photos on displays that don’t have a bazillion nits of brightness, including EDR iPads and MacBooks (and other displays, including Windows devices) at high brightness, where the available HDR headroom can be quite small.

Hello Adobe team,   I'm a dedicated Lightroom Mobile user with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which has powerful hardware and Super HDR capabilities. Despite this, Lightroom Mobile's HDR viewing and editing features are only available on select Google Pixel devices, leaving out other high-performance devices like the S24 Ultra. Given the advanced capabilities of the S24 Ultra, there is no technical reason it should be excluded from full HDR support.   Expanding this functionality to include more devices would enhance the experience for many users who have invested in top-tier smartphones. I hope Adobe considers updating Lightroom Mobile to enable HDR features across a broader range of supported devices.   Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I’d like to request proper support for Smart Albums syncing to iPad within Adobe Lightroom.At the moment, Smart Albums (or Smart Collections) created on desktop do not carry across to mobile devices in a usable way. While I understand collections can be synced, the actual rules and automation behind Smart Albums are lost.This is a real limitation for workflows like mine.I manage a large, structured image archive (40,000+ images), using Smart Albums to organise content by:Location (e.g. streets and areas) Subject (buildings, features, etc.) Status (new, ready, published)During the working week, my primary device is an iPad,  it’s what I use on the go to review, select, and prepare content. Desktop access is limited to evenings or weekends.Because Smart Albums don’t sync, I have to:Manually recreate album structures Copy images between albums Rely on workarounds instead of automationThis adds unnecessary time and increases the risk of inconsistencies.What would help:Smart Albums syncing
