Some time i needs a feature option like SMOKE on andriod lightroom app to enhance the looks of smoke in image, that's it. Thankyou.
On android, it appears there is no way to choose export location for LR. It makes it difficult to manage storage. This is obviously by design, as it is expected you join the cc ecosystem, but the option to backup photos to a specific location (say a external drive) would be greatly useful.
It would be very helpful to see both: histogram AND information like aperture/exposure/ISO - like in the Classic desktop version. Changing every time the display mode is time wasting - and I don't understand why I can get only the one or the other displayed ...
Having to time-shift the EXIF capture date of photos is an extremely common use case when importing from SD cards used in nearly all non-timezone aware digital cameras manufactured for the past 20 years. If you travel anywhere and start shooting before changing the timezone or date/time settings of your camera, you will have in your Lightroom library groups of shots captured from your timezone-aware devices (phone, tablets, etc.) grouped at the correct time while shots taken with your digital camera will be shifted to the wrong relative time because your digital camera uses a fixed time based on your home location, not the location you traveled to. This feature was supported in Lightroom Classic and is currently only offered in the Desktop/Laptop version of Lightroom CC/Cloud/etc. but not in the iOS/iPadOS (and I assume Android) versions of the app for some intractable reason. Anyone who owns only mobile or tablet devices will be incapable to shift shots taken in the wron
Suggestion Suggestion for adding a sorting feature for displaying pictures/photos that aren't in an album. This feature will be usefull for sorting the pictures made so that no one will be forgotten. Actual situation At the moment this feature is only possible on Lightroom CC or LrC on desktop through search bar. Album attribution can be made when pictures are imported, but once done, impossible to find pictures without album. Suggested features on Mobile App (iOS, iPadOS) searchbar with searching by "no album" pictures attribution on filtered pictures (stars, flags, album, moving, exporting, etc...) I hope that this suggestion will be accepted by Adobe. don't hesitate to comment or like my suggestion 😊
Hi,I wish I was able to buy a plan for my friend for a month or two or three. Could be as redemption code, or a gifting link? This could also be used as prizes in competitions me and my friend make.I couldn't find any other place to write this idea?
Adobe development team: "Hey, let's let's force artists, at all times, to view and inescapable screen-wide white light bar so that we can burn out their retinas. Heck, with their super sensitive and keen eyesight, it'll also handicap the hell out of their ability to view and edit the subtlties of tiny hue and density differences in their photographs. Woo hoo! What a neat design we just conjured!"
Adobe, please make it possible to edit multiple files at once with regard to caption and keywords in Lightroom mobile. This is an emergency! It must be immediately implemented.
I find it really hard to read the gray text on the iPhone mobile app. The white text is ok, but for some of the subsections in darker gray text, I have to use iOS accessibility tools to zoom in on, particularly when it's bright out. My eyesight is not great, but nor is it terrible. I'd really like the higher contrast text. In the screenshot attached, it's not bad enlarged, but on a small phone screen, it's really hard for me to use. Ironically, I'm having the same low-contrast text problem trying to read the "about Lightroom" page to try to figure out which version is installed.
Hello, Looking to have Students share their Edits with one another and to submit to their teacher. Currently not available with Education Account. Any chance to keep the "Share Edit" within our Domain ? What a great way for kids to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Thanks !
If possible, make an adjustable point (the square itself on the screen is more or less) focusing and exposure.
I have just made the leap frpm LR Classic to LR CC on Mac and LR Mobile on iPad and iPhone. One feature I'm missing on the mobile app is the ability to show all photos by date like on the Mac app. I know I can choose the segmentation option, but that is not the same - one still has to scroll through the list. In my case I have 20 years of photos and scrolling through them is a pain. So please add the featre to the mobile app.
Please return ability to permit user to select an album to direct the capture from the Lightroom Mobile camera rather than lumping into All Photos. This would ease the organization of recently captured photos that will be synced to Lightroom Classic. This feature was available in the past but has since been removed. Please return it. This would also be consistent with the treatment of captures from the device's native camera that exists today.
Please allow to change temporary edits folder location. I am talking about c:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom CC\Data\TemporaryEdits\ Why it should be on drive C: ? I have other drives with plenty of space for any kind of temp files.
Would be nice to have "Quick delete" option in gallery/view mode on iPad/mobile.After shooting several hundreds of photos it is essential that user can easly and quickly review (full screen) and delete all bad shots with one tap/gesture. Same important is to have option to add with one tap tag or rating to the picture (currently full screen). So, there is just need for simple (overlayed) toolbar on full screen preview with options: delete, tag, rate
For the love of dog, please allow adjustments to be nudged be +/- 1 using the keyboard.
The current error message when unable to add an image to the catelog is rather generic and does not provide actionable information to either Adobe support or the end user. More ganular error messages are required here. Was this a local file permissin error, a read error from the source device, temp file storage issue, server call issue.... where wa sthe error, and what type of error occured. There is a long thread on this issue in discussion: Re: 'Some photos were not added. Unable to copy file.' Aeparate thread created as idea as suggested by Riff (Adobe).
When importing RAW, JPEG, and HEIC files from Apple photos the Mobile version of Lightroom imports the meta data concerning location, but does not import other metadata. Request is to add support of importing keywords and other metadata that can be directly used by Lightroom Mobile, Desktop, and Classic.
I prefer to only import the RAW files for images that I take with my camera, although I shoot using the RAW + JPEG settings. It would be a nice feature in Lightroom (cloud version) to add a toggle that would only allow the import of the RAW files (ignoring the JPEGs). Right now the only approach is to add files via browse and sort the files by kind. Which works, but it would be nice if there was a more elegant solution.
It would be great to have the ability for the recipient of a shared photo library to search metadata. For example, if we shared a gallery of several hundred images (or more) with a graphic designer, rather than them having to scroll through the gallery looking for a particular subject (say a beach photo), they could search for "beach" and all beach photos would show.
Adobe is excited to receive requests for additional features you need to enhance your workflow. What can you do to increase the chances of being heard? Don't use the words "Feature Request" in your post's title. Search for and add to existing feature requests rather than creating duplicates. There is no advantage to creating a second request for any existing feature request. One request per thread! When creating an Idea or Feature Request thread, please keep requests for features to ONE request per thread. Doing this will allow others to vote on a single, specific feature and not confuse Upvotes amongst a list of feature requests. If an Idea thread has multiple requests in it, a moderator may ask you to split the multiple requests up into multiple threads so others can vote. In the event there remain multiple requests on a thread, the first item requested will be the arbiter of where the thread will be cross-referenced or merged. Describe how the featu
It would be nice to have the ability to create more than one Gallery for sharing. Since Adobe creates unique links for a gallery. It would be nice if we can create multiple galleries for sharing and not just be limited to one gallery.
Dear Adobe. Im full time photographer and its been about 6 years when using Adobe subscription. For past 5 years i owned Iphone 7, and OMG. Thats phone with lightroom premium mobile did fantastic shots. And imagine my dissapointment when I bought Samsung s21 ultra and saw LRmobile doesnt support all cameras. Doesnt support long exposure shooting mode. Im begging you to make an update. Its one of the best cameraphone , sure many professionals bought it. For me, without LRmobile even Iphone 7 is way powerful tool
It would be greate to use the rendered image in the merge screen as a preview or placeholder while the real image is generated. I often merge multiple images, and it would be handy to have the place holder there of the jpeg (I assume) from the merge screen so I can continue working while the image file is generated. Tim
Hi there, I recently purchased the new M1 iPad Pro . I immediately found out some features that are missing from this app compared to the desktop version that would make sense to include for the iPads to improve the workflow and usability. When using the new Magic keyboard you can't hover over with the trackpad/cursor and adjust the given setting by +5 or -5 with the directional arrows on the keyboard. The other feature that I would find helpful is to be able to isolate the thumbnails when importing the images so you can just see one image for selecting the photos like in Lightroom classic (to check for proper focus and image quality) and to swipe through each photo. When using the Selective Edit tool with the Apple Pencil add an option or function where you can actually see the brush size/brush feather tool so you can see where you're drawing. Ex. Lightroom Desktop version. Allowing users to change Lightroom Catalogs with external drives plugged in. EX - I'm a wedd
