Photoshop

Is there a way to make a favorites group of brushes on Photoshop iPad (the way you can make custom brush groups in Procreate, for instance). I know you can make groups of brushes on Photoshop Desktop, but it would be really useful to make groups of brushes for various tasks on the iPad. Thanks for any tips.

I know that you really want to make sure users know about new features, but the contextual task bar is extremely poor at positioning itself dynamically. It's constantly jumping around, positioning itself in the way of the image you need to work on. Why not just make it a dockable or just put it at the top like all the other contextual tool taskbars? I really don't need it in my face the whole time to know it's there. I typically have to hide it completely until I need it, then I need to turn it back on from the menu, only to turn it back off when I'm done. It's so different than all the other task bars, but why?

It would be VERY useful to be able to set a Baseline Grid in Photoshop, just like you can in InDesign. But make any settings, modifications, changes live, so you don't keep having to open/close any dialogue window. (As I have suggested for InDesign).

I'm looking to buy Creative Suite; 5, 5.5, or  6.Support is an issue with these old but still useful versions of Adobe product. However, If someone already has 5, 5.5, and 6, I thought to myself, what if updating patches could be bought rather then straight out denied? Your thoughts please 

Why is it not possible to hold on to the mask that you so carefully make while importing the image into photoshop. For instance: I have a photo with a human subject. I drag it into photoshop. I make two masks, one for the subject and one inverse. I apply my tonal adjustance to each of the masks. Why can't I keep these masks when I import the raw file to a photoshop file? Now I have to recreate these masks again, which means I do the same job twice? What kind of design is this? If I hate one thing it's doing double work. 

I use the selection/load selection option A LOT but there's no keyboard shortcut for it.

While changing brush size, opacity gets affected accidently by 1 or 2%, need a feature to lock it so that changing brush size won't affect the opacity of the brush.

Hi, maybe this already exists and I couldn't find it. I would like to see a little preview of the images in the 'Open Recent' submenu in Photoshop. It would be much easier to work with because I don't like to remember file names and previews would show me the exact image I want to open.

Was trying to analyse my Adobe usage, in order to better understand what plans I should be using. There's no way to see your GF usage outside of the current month, would love to see a history of my account usage, similar to how you can compare your text or call usage on a phone plan. 

I have two requests associated with Camera Raw's Color Mixer's Point Color tool. The first is very simple; please add an adjustment tool exactly the same as is in Camera Raw. By adding as an adjustment tool, I won't have to use the entire Camera Raw software as a filter thereby simplifying my work. The second is to add the color picker and range parts (not the adjustments, just the range setting parts) to the selection menu for creating a selection. The point color tool is much more precise and adjustable than the Color Range menu option currently is in the selection menu.  

Add "Current and below" for the Spot Healing Brush (just like in the regular Healing brush). Now if we have some color correcting adjustments above, we have to turn them on/off all the time when the  is checked. Or we have to uncheck it and work destructively on the image layer itself (or on a copy, but it's desctructive editing anyway). 

Add font auto size feature to the Photoshop API for Text, meaning whenever a text is updated system would identify if the text is overflowing text box or not, and if yes, automatically adjust the font size so text will fit into the text box. 

When batch resizing currently, Photoshop can't tell if images are Landscape or Profile thus requiring images to be separated into wide and tall folders before processing each folder individually. It would be helpful if when batch processing to set a maximum width if a photo is wide and a maximum height if a photo is tall and have photoshop evaluate each and proportionally cut images down accordingly. A proportional setting is also nice to have when images are the same format but have different dimensions.

Please, please allow " Actual Size" to be an action!!!Also on the Mac please allow us to disable " Aplication Window" don't need it , never ask for it!

When brush on the smate object, PS 2024 creates new layers on top of smart obj instead of ask if to rasterize layers. How to change it back? I don't need a new layer, I want to quicklly rasterize layers. Please advise.

I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet. I'm constantly working with multiple files in floating photoshop windows and inevitbably I end up loosing some windows while working, as they somehow go behind the entire photoshop app window. I can't think of a single reason why anyone would ever want this to happen. And when you finally find it by moving the full app window you may get the missing one to move up front but then the others move behind the main app window. It's crazy! Just please make it so all photoshop floating windows can't go behind the photoshop main app window. Or at least make a preference setting where you can turn on "ALL PHOTOSHOP WINDOWS STAY INFRONT OF PHOTOSHOP APP WINDOW" If this exists already, please tell me how to turn it on. Thank you.

Yes, I know you can achieve what is needed to be achieved with only a blue/yellow and green/magenta slider and I also know there's a tradition of having only these two adjustments. I reality though, having a red/cyan slider would speed up my workflow for when I simply need a quick adjustment to my red/cyan values. At least, add a shortcut key that when pressed, makes the two existing sliders move together. Niggling the two sliders into position to get a simple red/cyan shift is a headache. Thank you!

In order to use the command EXPORT / LAYERS to FILES in a script (and Automation). It would be interesting to add a variable [FILE_NAME] to the file name prefix to process this command in batch. Thus each LAYER exported as a FILE will have as a PREFIX the name of the file from which it comes. For batch processing of multiple PSD FILES. 

I recommend including the option to flip individual artboards independently instead of flipping the entire canvas.This would be helpful because, during sketching on a specific artboard, I often need to flip it frequently to check perspective or symmetry f the artwork. However, when flipping the entire canvas is the only choice, it sometimes takes minutes to complete the calculation, causing interruptions in my workflow.

At present, the object selection tool can only recognize an entire person when searching for objects, and cannot select the person's skin by clicking. If you can freely add and delete selection areas like the AI brushes and erasers in CaptureOne, it can reduce a lot of time.

I was so pleased to finally get fullscreen integration... until my hopes were dashed.In other fullscreen-enabled apps on the Mac (like pages/keynote/numbers) when in fullscreen if you want access to the top menu bar all you have to do is mouse up to the top of the screen and it appears.But in Photoshop you can't get to the menu bars at all from full screen (in so far as I can tell). This makes it quite useless for day-to-day work - I use my menus all the time, and I don't want to have to keep switching in and out of fullscreen mode.No idea why this wasn't obvious, but there you have it. So feature request: access to the menus from fullscreen. Thanks!

Add Blend if by Saturation! would save much time fixing over- and undersaturated areas.
