Photoshop Elements

Previously I have set Elements to work in Adobe RGB colour space. Discovered that converted raw files from Camera Raw can only be output in the smaller sRGB colour space. I often do further edits, including colour manipulation so need as large a space as possible to maintain quality and detail in my finished prints. It's not an issue for images for the web but could be for prints. This seems a backward step. So reluctantly I am getting a refund and returning to using the 2020 version where I can choose my colour policies. Shame because I wanted 2024 as it opens Fuji XT5 RAWS. Back to dng's as a workaround.

Hi, I have upgraded from 2023 to 2024.In the past I have used this never ending Beta with web an Companion.No with 2024 the new auto sync is really bad!I wish back the old import/export opption! Or should I go back to 2023?

I upgraded to Elements 2024 only to find it does not support Camera Raw! This is absurd!!!

Elements 2020 When tagged photos uploaded to Flickr no tags or caption uploading. What am I missing. 

If I open image in Raw either image.psd or image.jpg then open to Advanced I'm not able to duplicate the locked background image, previous PSE version I could.

I just have Photoshop Elements. I think Home Screen is annoying and unnecessary. I think it should be removed.

I accidentally purchased PS Premiere 2024 when I thought I was purchasing PS Elements.  I have not downloaded and installed it, so I asked the retailer about this, and since it is a digital version, they said too bad.  So I am wondering if Adobe here will exchange it?

I've seen these posts but no real solution anywhere that works.New desktop with Win 11, new install of Elements and Premier Elements.  iPhone 14 pro max.  Taking videos and cinematic videos.  Import fails saying I don't have correct codec, not extremely helpful because it doesn't say what I need.  I followed Adobe's note on installing the .99 cents Microsoft HECV codec and free HEIF plugin.  Both installed and verified.  Same error.  Tried Adobe support three times, as I like pain.  After verifying the steps multiple times they told to do what they do, run everything through handbrake, which works as a mp4 but not a real solution.  I read somewhere that I need Mp64 not Mp65, which I believe relates to H.264 and H.265.  I also tried a-lite codecs that didn't help.Any more ideas or which codec brand actually works and is supported on Win 11

Do I need to deactivate PSElements22 before I install PSElements24 or will it just upgrade itself?  I am not changing computers.Also, if I need to deactivate the older version, do I need to do anything with picture files that were downloaded to Organizer? Thanks in advance!

I am trying to manually sort an album in Elements 2024 Organizer.  I read the help section which says the under "SOrt by" in media view there should be a choice called "album order".  However when I click "sort by" I get all the choices except album order.  What is the issue here?  Thank you for any advice.

Hello Gals and Guys - I have a 2018 Mac Mini with the quad i3 and 8BG of memory running PhotoshopElements 2021.  The past few weeks I seem to be getting a lot of update requests for PSE2021, like every time I open it.  I figured out that I think it's because I'm deleting the file organizer after the update, so it tries to update the next time I attempt to open it.  Sometimes I don't want to update, but there's not option to pass on it, except force quit.  I have a PC running PSE2021 and there's a fix that gets rid of that stuff, but I haven't found one with the Mac.  Is there an option to get rid of that stuff or can I pass on the updates somehow? Now that I've force quit it a few times, PSE2021 doesn't seem to want to open.  It just bounces in the in the dock, but never opens and I'm forced to kill it again.  Is there some way I can get it to open again?  Thanks for any help.

I have purchased a Photoshop Elements 15 through a shop receiving a serial number six years ago. This worked fine for years. Now I am switching to a new computer and want to transfer the subscription and things get complicated. - I can only download an older version (15) if I have a subscription, or if the app is registered. See https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/downloaded-older-app.html- I tried to register multiple times, but I get the message that the serial number is in use (I logged out of the one on the other computer but to no avail).- I cannot get any support from Adobe ... because no subscription (purchasing a serial number does not count). So I can't download it without registering, and registering does not work. It seems a bit sketchy ... or is there something I am not seeing? I simply cannot get myself to buy another copy, simply because this edition is working perfectly fine. Thanks,Thomas

I'm printing an album of pictures where most are landscape orientation.The media in portrait orientation. The printer default is set to portrait orientation.However, when I print, the picture is in landscape matching the media.How do I set the PE album to print in landscape when the media is portrait?

I just upgraded to pse 2024 due to the fact that pse 2022 didn't work with my os sonoma.  While taking the video tutorials, I notced that sometimes when instructed to click next, next was not an option. today, i was told while using one of the tutorilas on masking i was instructed to unlock a new mask, but it was NOT LOCKED.  When I found myself at a standstill and tried to start the tutorial over i was instructed that i couldn't until i finished the course.  so I had to quit pse and start over.  so is 2024 not compatible with sonoma? 

I'm using Adobe Elements 2024 on Windows 10, and whenever I try to use any scrollbar within PSE 24 with my tablet pen (Huion Kamvas 22) the cursor remains stuck to the scrollbar and I can not unclick it or click any other tools. It just remains on the scrollbar dragging it along. This issue is only with PSE 24. It works fine in regular CC Photoshop and PSE 2018. How do I fix this?

PS Elements 2022 - Enhance - Auto Smart Tone - mal functions. Any photo is not shown in whole, but divided in half. (see attached sample) This fault has appeared since updating Macbook Air, 2020, M1 chip to latest IOS Sonoma 14.0

As an experiment, I edited a file and then saved in in the .dng format.  I'm using Photoshop Elements 2022 Organizer as my cataloging application.  I then tried to do a "Get Photos and Video > From Files and Folders" but PSE 2022 Organizer did not add the file/image to the catalog.  I did verify that the .dng file was in the folder from which I tried to import.  My OS is Windows 11 Pro.  Does anyone know if .dng files are supported in the new 2024 release of Photoshop Elements?

Hi. I have seen that many photographers process one photo in which they smooth out the face with a stamp and then create automation and this automatically transfers to the rest of their photos. How to do it? I tried and nothing happened in these photos 😞

Hi friendsI have an older Mac Mini (late 2014 model) that can run up to Mac OS 12 Monterey.The current standalone version of PE will allegedly run on this OS, but it requires an Intel 6th Generation or newer processor. My machine has an Intel 4th gen processor.The question to which I cannot find an answer in any help forum is....... Which legacy version of PE will run on an Intel 4th gen machine?

Mac OS Ventura 13.6.1, I just downloaded a trial of Photoshop Elements. I had gotten rid of my PSE-15 because the hand tool kept getting stuck. I figured I needed to upgrade. Now PSE 2024 is doing the same thing! Adobe tech said to drag the PSE-15 to the trash, so I did. PSE 2024 appeared to work then. Got halfway through a a design with PSE 2024, and the hand stuck on. I cannot change to another tool no matter what I do. I have rebooted my computer a number of times, restarted PSE 2024. My thanks to anyone who knows a fix.

When I open the bin all photos look the same , but when I click on one photo the right photo comes up and so on. How can I restore the bin as it was showing each photro right as before?
